Sucks that its down, but I'll be honest, I've cashed out hundreds of bitcoins consecutively while a lot of other bitcoin sites are shutting down and stealing from their customers. It would take an unbelievably amazing new site to get me to move my action...
reputation in a sportsbetting industry is tough. reputation in a bitcoin industry is tough to come by.
a great reputation in a bitcoin sportsbook is next to impossible right now.

I see that the odds maker for bitbook seems to be down, is this why there weren't any live betting available last night?

Do any other books offer instant withdraws and as many offerings as they do? I feel like my coins are safe here and thats good enough for me. If they are out for a little while move your coins and use another site for the night. It's not exactly hard to withdraw and fund other places almost immediately.

What is going on with BitBook??? I have three minutes to place wagers and I'm dealing with having to comment to you to fix this nonsense... I tried to put .49 on Justin Edwards, and it said I was limted to .222, so I put .222 and it says I can't place this wager at this time. I have the same error with another fighter. On top of it, your MMA section is missing and I can only view the "upcoming" section. This is the biggest load of nonsense I've ever dealt with. Please just let me know if this is what can be expected so I can now get down in other books because this is becoming ludicrous!!!

Talk about an overreaction...it's down for 1 night? This book is the most reliable I've seen and they always pay so quickly without a hitch.
Sure we all agree BitBook is generally reliable but any down time in this industry could be fatal. Sure some people leave for the 1 day Bitbook is down (which this isn't the 1st), and most usually come back, but I think that's just because the quality of sportsbook sites for BTC is just low in general, right now.
If there was a replacement, that had less down time, then it could potentiallly be bad for BB.

It happens. Even the biggest sites like 5dimes go down time to time.. and overall, bitbook has had pretty good uptime. More importantly, never any issues with payouts, so bettors should be forgiving when it comes to a little incident like this. Good luck with the maintenance, I hope it doesn't cause too much of a headache for ya'll. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it is back to running smoothly in time for tonight's NBA 
For sure (bitcoinsports.eu have owed me .9 btc for 2 months), and I'd rather put business bitbook's way than any other site but this time I had no choice

Couldn't bet on City... couldn't bet on Napoli... couldn't bet on Levante.. couldn't bet on Real Madrid.. or any of the totals. Man, soccer is a mess today.
