Hi just found out about your website and I had a question regarding the parlay. I placed a bet of .01 on a 2 game parlay and won. The odds were 3.775 or +278 in american odds. For a bet of .01 I was slated to win .02775, but I did not receive my original wager of .01 back. Typically you should receive the winnings plus the original bet back or am I missing something? I should have gotten back a total of .03775.

I would love some assistance with this. Thanks for the site.

Regards,

biladelph

BitBook never removes your wager from your account balance.

Hi biladelph. MrDeposit is correct. When you place a bet it remains in your balance until it is deemed a win or a loss.

When your bet won your balance should have increased by 0.02775. If you had lost it would have decreased by 0.01.

Hey there.

It's been quite a while since the last message for this thread was posted.

Yet, I've just met this site and express my enjoyment for it.

I believe there is _STILL_ something to be worked out.

Description of the issue: Parlays don't work if you try to parlay bets on different, independent aspects of the same MATCH.

Example: Suppose that for MATCH between TeamA(-2) and TeamB(+2), with OVR/UND at 100, I wish to place a
PARLAY for TeamA, also betting that total number of points will be UND 100. It doesn't work because all bets
for a given match are disabled to parlay once the first bet has been entered.

It seems you can perfectly place a parlay, say, for TeamA, and aldo for OVR/UND on a different MATCH.
Please note that Whether TeamA wins or losses is independent on whether results for the game are OVER or UNDER.

Great site, but as you can guess, there are some things to do yet.

Hey malr, because certain outcomes can be slightly correlated (such as the under and the underdog) most books that allow these parlays increase their juice significantly (or have very high juice to begin with). BitBook is proud to offer very high payouts, and we are proud not to add juice to our parlay options, but because of this we only allow 1 option per event on our parlay slips.

Oh, I may have to retract for what I just said?

Indeed I've just noticed the impossiblity for parlaying stuff for the same match just a few hours ago. It now seems to work out fine?

I tried it in either Iexplore and Chrome. Before it didn't work, now it does.

If you feel you have been put on a line delay we would love to hear from you. It's becoming an increasing problem where Bitbook will offer a line and once your bet is submitted they will move the line or juice to favor a better outcome for them. Yes players have the option not to accept the wager however we assume most do anyhow.

Hey aksplace, if you believe there is a problem, please send us a PM with details. We have looked into it, and we haven't seen an increase in the percentage of users that are blocked due to line changes. However, line changes do happen rather frequently. In fact, they may occur more often than some users may guess. For instance, for the upcoming NFL playoff game between the Chiefs and the Colts, there have already been over 100 updates to the line! We can understand the frustration when a line change occurs, but we never adjust a line before a bet is accepted simply because it is requested (if we did this, it would be very easy for a sharp bettor to fool us into moving the line the way that they want.)

New addresses that pop up always work for me. I was wondering about the old addresses too. Ok so basically they're fine it's not like the btc will be lost, just maybe slower.

That is correct. We would just recommend avoiding really really old addresses. For instance, anything over 2 months old.

I'm SURE this has been asked before but I can't find it on the site or on the thread.  Can we re-use an old deposit address or do we have to use a new one every single time?  It gets tough when I'm making a lot of deposits.  Thanks

In general you will be okay. In the past we have done updates to our systems which would cause old addresses to require manual oversight and thereby be delayed a bit. Currently if you use a very old deposit address there could be an issue, but if you stick to addresses not older than a couple weeks you will be fine.
