Thank you cryptx. Do you have a time frame for addressing this? Clearly if the aim is still to hit 64 GH/s, the longer it takes the more customers lose out (64 GH/s this week is more valuable than 64 GH/s next week).

P.S. for folks struggling to get to speeds of about 50GH/s, I have done this by running with the following options (I have followed the instructions on https://www.asic-hardware.com/assembly-instructions-part-2/ but I have not updated the firmware on the device):

sudo ./cgminer -o [pool] -u [pool_username] -p [pool_password] --avalon-options 115200:32:10:47:270 --bitburner-voltage 1400

(temp is about 58-59 degrees C)
P.P.S make sure you also run:

sudo apt-get install git libudev-dev libtool

(this step is missing from the instructions above, but will save a lot of time in the configuration process)

thats terrible service.

i cant download the cgminer 3.5 from the linke in rages post. tried using 3.2.2 but it wont run, the board is ready green light flashing, what cd be wrong?

Lots of bent pins ont he connectors everywhere. Some of them even shorting out (I had to bend them back).

I have a 1000W power supply. I hope that will be enough.

Hmm, I suppose I could get a couple of USB hubs and more cables. that should work too, right?

Just got my 8-board kit today.

It didn't seem to include a CANBUS cable. (It was supposed to have one, right??)

I hope I can dig up something to use or else I'm going to have to buy 7 more raspberry Pis, lol.

Any ideas where I can get one?

Board is ordered and paid for while you show us how many fucks you give by not shipping. Or shipping when you feel like.

You charge a premium for a product that clearly performs sub-par and expect us to sit and wait ?

Thanks fsb4000, so that is broadly comparable with what's being seen with the furyburner then.

Ouch, 132W! Is it just the chips that are getting really hot or are there other components on the board that are hungrily turning your electricity to heat!

Anybody else getting this kind of power consumption?

Not quite, which is why it is a bit weird that the bitfury burners seem to be way over this. Some of the bitfurystrikesback kit has been demonstrated at < 1W/GH/s at the wall with chips clocked over 2GH/s (e.g. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-bitfury-asic-sales-in-eu-and-europe-250249).

the instructions are copied from www.burninmining.com and are from the avalon bitburner ... they don't match in some parts ... like ...
the avalon options ... you might check the posts in ... here which are more actual ... :-)
