wow!!! this image is overwhelm me as well. But I know that at that when bitcoin newly to the space, most people were afraid to use it because they believed that another scamming of fraud method has come again so people neglected it but when they see potential in it in the later years, most people go into it, and those who go into it at the middle years of 2014 + are also doing well now with BTC. Like that of 10/06/2009 Bitcoin is like a wasted btc as for now. If someone has this 1,130.53 Bitcoin now, that person has turn to millionaire by now. All the same, according to a saying, ignorant is a disease but some people said it is not a disease. I know that people have this amount of btc but I am trying to compare it as for then.

I remember a guy that uploads a video on Youtube before who is already considered as Bitcoin billionaire now. He is telling them to buy Bitcoin even just an extra 1 dollar from their wallet.
So for sure, if we will go back to that time too, some of us will have some confusion too, because we still don't know what will the future of Bitcoin. I'm just glad to the people who believed with Bitcoin since the beginning.

Without reading any further through the thread this is what I also think, Kudos to those who
got involved early on and especially to those who continued right up to today from
those early days. These are the same people who registered early on the forum.

How does the OP's post make me feel?

I don't really feel anything specifically other than I wonder about all those people who got
into Bitcoin early on and were in their time thinking and worrying when the price would
rise and fall within that $1 space. It's amazing how far it has come.

Makes me kind of asking myself where I was and what was I doing at this time 13 years ago  Huh Huh

How does this make you feel?

I know right. Lol!
I feel like not having my first Btc in 2009 is the biggest financial failure in my whole life lol. I mean I can reconsider my self and understand that I was just a college student during that year. But unfortunately, I've heard Bitcoin before and did give the slightest attention to check out about cryptocurrency 2016.
What a crazy journey Bitcoin have it. No wonder why some of the early adopters specifically in 2009 or 2010 have forgot their wallet, some are even junked their hardware wallet thinking Bitcoin could never be this massive.

Snip.

I was still in the dark. Didn’t even know there was a thing called Bitcoin. Such tremendous change has happened with Bitcoin. It’s good to witness it.
Don't just watch, let's find out more. Bitcoin technology innovation continues to grow that makes this digital asset worth paying attention to. You're not too late to dig deeper into Bitcoin, you can still do anything if you want.
There are so many things you can do to earn extra income from Bitcoin, such as investing, mining and staking that can beat other conventional products. Bitcoin still has a lot of room to grow with a wide and trusted market reach. It could be that the next ten years you can enjoy great benefits from your knowledge of Bitcoin.

I found the below image online, this was exactly 13 years ago when the price of bitcoin was still as good as zero, it is seen on the table that exactly today, being the 6th of October, 2009(13 years ago), with $1, one could purchase BTC1,130.53.
This means that the price of one bitcoin at that time was not more expensive than Pizza, I also remember someone named James Howells, where that person lost a hard drive containing 7,500 bitcoins because he accidentally threw it away.
Until now I don't know exactly whether the hard drive has been found, almost all the media I'm looking for there is no sign of the hard drive being found, it's really bad luck for James Howells after knowing bitcoin is increasing being hunted and has a fantastic selling value.

I then tried to calculate what BTC1,130.53 is worth today according to Bitcoin's current market price, and I am indeed overwhelmed.
Makes me kind of asking myself where I was and what was I doing at this time 13 years ago  Huh Huh

How does this make you feel?
An ordinary calculator will not be able to calculate the number of bitcoins owned by the man I mentioned above, let alone the bitcoin holdings of large companies that started to buy them.
13 years ago, bitcoin was not cheaper than pizza, but now that assumption is debunked, as bitcoin finds its way into an investment or as a promising asset.
If anyone were to ask how bitcoin will be in the next ten years, then the answer would be to go to the moon, based on rhythm, trust and a very probable overview.

Your post-picture can only demonstrate how cryptocurrency has changed the world. Doesn't evoke any emotions. Many write "what a pity that I did not invest in bitcoin then", but no one knew his future fate, so what's the point of regretting something that you could not know?
Surely onpoint and this is true and thats why lots had missed out their chance just because no one had really able or who had thought that it would really become valuable on the future?

If you do keep on looking back then you would definitely be just stressing yourself and keep telling that if you hadnt just miss out and accumulate as much as you can then you cant really think off
that clearly and well on your current investment which would affect your decisions.

Lets move on and deal up on the current thing that you are dealing with.Sorry for those who missed out and good to those who had hold for 13 years.

I did not get hooked on bitcoin at the time men" but where I am today, it makes me so happy.
I sure do understand perfectly, there is a saying which goes "better late than never".
We all are happy we are here, at some instances, one might feel this regret of not being here when bitcoin was way cheaper, but honestly, I come to understand that in life, every thing happens at their time, nothing happens by chance, those who knew about bitcoin when the price was zero, knew about it because it was their time to know about it, and not even all of them are rich today.

It is not out of place to sometime feel bad for not knowing about an opportunity on time, but then, don't take it to heart, for what will be will surely be.

I don't think it's late to know about bitcoin. From my own observation, bitcoin difficulty keeps on increasing. Infact, some technical review has proved that it is better to buy bitcoin now anytime the price dips than to manually mine it. That means if bitcoin continues in this trajectory, there will be a point where no one will want to sell. This the price goes up .

So I feel happy and agree with you.

If time could turn around, then I would absolutely buy as many bitcoins as possible. LOL - I never understand if someone makes a statement like this because actually bitcoin hasn't earned the trust it deserves from most people in its early years. I don't know where I was in 13 year ago, it's a very long time to remember and I'm sure I'm still enjoying my teenage at that time and I'm not thinking anything about how to make money.

But time flies so fast, bitcoin continues to evolve and has changed the mindset of many people who previously did not believe to believe in its potential. Yes it made them invest in bitcoin because they started to realize that bitcoin is an investment asset that has benefited many people before them. The market continues to grow, adoption is increasing and it would be good fundamentals to expect it to stay on the good track as an investment asset.

Going back to the past has always been hurting more than you can imagine hearing and also seeing such stories of loss hurts badly. Some people have big sums of Bitcoin and all that but lost them to some exchange and also most people consider Bitcoin mining a good waste of time. Focusing on the past is way dump it's high time people face what's in front.
A lot of people also talking about Bitcoin, but how many has really taken the first step to buy Bitcoin, they are just posting for posting reasons, I find it today that short term holders are really bossing and ruling the Bitcoin market more than the big term holders this are worthy and hearable news. Those little Bitcoins bought would be worth some bigger dollar's some day ahead, keeping your privacy to yourself and also to someone you can trust, so to keep them safe.

I was so young back then and didn't hear about it there's nothing for me to regret except for those people that know about it but they choose to not be involved in the early years of bitcoins because they don't trust its creator and anyone involved in it. so they regret it big time until today. Anyway, only a few people are the patience to hold it until now without even selling some of it today because others already took advantage and sold it and buy everything they want with their bitcoins.

In my view, it is still necessary to prove itself over time. 13 years is a long time, but for an asset to be more reliable it is necessary to prove itself in the face of even bigger crises than Bitcoin has already passed.
What more evidence do you expect from bitcoin's journey, isn't the long process you witnessed is enough to prove it, 13 years is no longer a short time.
The process of bitcoin's journey further expands its existence and even bitcoin is resistant to the crisis and inflation that has ever occurred.
The worldwide adoption of bitcoin is growing, although not everyone is involved, but the awareness of bitcoin's acceptance is growing at this time.

Not fully trusted with Tesla company have 48,000 Bitcoins depending how their advertising and promote with Dogecoin, I think they have invested much money in Bitcoin but last several months have issues about Tesla company have sold their Bitcoin assets. Not any specific about that news true or not but regarding many time Tesla announced about they have sold Bitcoin assets but one day later have news buy back Bitcoin.
It is not my duty and responsibility to prove bitcoin ownership in Tesla company.
What I mean is that bitcoin adoption and acceptance is becoming more and more widespread, even large companies have seen the opportunity to buy bitcoins as a step forward in adoption and investment, whereas some of the companies I mentioned are just examples of adoption and acceptance.

Quote
Need to get valid information on internet about who and which one company have hold many Bitcoin in their wallet actually Tesla is new investor in Bitcoin trough price have been up, maybe if this company know with Bitcoin before 13 years ago make awesome and they will try hard how effective advertising and make Bitcoin pump drastically.
If anyone is serious about finding out what wallet they use to store bitcoins, then chances are we'll find out the real amount or so-called valid information. But it's not our responsibility to check it, at least we just want to convey to the OP, that bitcoin adoption and acceptance is so widespread and even big companies see this as the best opportunity.

So that there is no doubt for people to adopt and accept bitcoin, if at this time we do not take part, the bitcoin journey will increasingly make us fall behind in investment patterns and how to use them.

Even if you did buy BTC then, most people would have sold at $1 and $10 and $100, etc...

Very doubtful, that anyone would hold that amount for 10+ years until now.

I think what you are saying is true, because I have a friend and he told me that he used to have 50 bitcoins, and he only sold them at a price
270 dollars, and he now regrets being too frantic to sell at such a low price.

so in conclusion,, don't think too much about bitcoin's past, and don't be sorry because we didn't buy it before, because buying now is not too late. because in my opinion in the future bitcoin will be very high in price.

Everyone should learn the basics of bitcoin, before making some investment on it.It was below 0$ ,when the year was 2009.Over 13 years,it value was reached to 18k dollars. It’s nearly 18k times to the old value of 1$.The price of bitcoin was increased from the scrap, you need to hold your coin.Because the new pump will earn you good some profit.

It is possible to be in Bitcoin since 2009 and still not own a good amount of Bitcoin by now, it all depends on the mindset and the motivation that drives our interest in any investment or commodity. Those that took advantage of the technology back then were able to use small capital to stock pill large Bitcoin just imagine investing $100 into bitcoin the day it was launched one will be the biggest whale by now if he didn't sell the Bitcoin holdings.
On another hand we must not ask some kind of questions as that will only great FOMO in the market, since we can not move back the hand of time, we must focus on holding more bitcoin at every given opportunity.

LUCKY ARE THE EARLY BITCOINNAIRS!
You cant really tell that all of them did really make huge money even lets say that they are the early adopters or engagers when Bitcoin is just starting.Come to mind off that if they we're active then you

dont know if these people had able to sold out when bitcoins price did hit up a few dollars or even a hundred. No one really had anticipated that it would really be become valuable on the future.

which it do reaches its price as high of 69k and possible that it would even be more on future years to come. For those who do able to remember those coins into those early days or years
then they are the ones would be called as whales but pretty sure that there are lots who had sold off and lost their coins.

If I had discovered Bitcoin back in 2009, I probably would have thought that this is some kind of weird scam.
Spending actual dollars for some "magic internet money" that nobody uses back in 2009? Nah... It's like buying some worthless shitcoin or token right now. Who would do such thing? Grin
I remember that I was in my first year in university back in October 2009. I didn't have any money to buy anything back then. All I had was a laptop and I feel sorry that I never mined any BTC with my laptop. Grin Being an early adopter would have been great.
Honestly, I have been here for far longer than most people, not 2009 but a bit after that, and I can tell you that is exactly what I thought about it. I mean it looked like a good level of scam, not really a scam but like "this is legit but would never work" type of approach, I knew that it was fair, so I never questioned if it was scam, but I always believed bitcoin would never ever achieve anything and be at these prices.

So the end result is the same, not investing much into it, otherwise if I did I would have owned tens of, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin today, I had the money to buy that much back in the day, and I didn't.
