How does this make you feel?

It doesn't make me feel anything. Once upon a time when I was seeing things like this still, but now I see that the returns that were obtained the first few years we are not going to have them going forward, which is becoming clear in this cycle and in facts like even Saylor and others are giving much more moderate predictions for the future.

I care more about owning Bitcoin because it is uncensurable, for example than thinking about what it was worth and what it became worth. Plus as has been discussed on the forum, almost everyone who bought at those levels, sold when it made x10 or x20 at best. Others as it was worth very little got careless and lost the private keys. So all that glitters is not gold.

How does this make you feel?

Nothing.

Questions like this lead to FOMO, and that's not good. Previously, I often asked similar questions, considered lost profits, often used the phrase: WHAT IF I THEN ...... Only this makes no sense, all this reasoning after the fact makes me discouraged, so I never fill my head with reasoning about what would happen if I then ....etc.

In general, it is not a fact that if most of us got acquainted with bitcoins at that time, they would have bought as much as possible and held until today. This understanding comes with time.

The Nothing part of what you said got me a bit surprised though until I took my time to read down to the end. A lot of people have been ignorant about Bitcoin. Imagine people who would have turned a million dollar owner's that's quite painful if I should input my own opinion. The New Liberty Standard was the first to offer Bitcoin purchases. People were able to buy and sell Bitcoin through Paypal.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/xx6bv7/the_first_website_to_buy_bitcoin_went_online_13/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

This lead to a user sharing his pain of how ignorant he was after he blatantly refused and rejected the offer of becoming a millionaire in college, his buddy mined 2000 Bitcoin in 2010 and in the year 2013, he sold over 1000 of his staked Bitcoin and became a millionaire.
But does the past matter now , yes it's good he now knows the benefits of that and must have started buying and stacking during the lows.

I understand how you feel. It is natural, every pro-bitcoiner has felt this way too. Now in 2035 - thirteen years from now you will not be able to buy one Bitcoin at 20,033.10USD which is the price as at the time of typing this. Your reaction now is how those in the future who didn't take advantage of this time will feel too.

I remember a guy that uploads a video on Youtube before who is already considered as Bitcoin billionaire now. He is telling them to buy Bitcoin even just an extra 1 dollar from their wallet.
So for sure, if we will go back to that time too, some of us will have some confusion too, because we still don't know what will the future of Bitcoin. I'm just glad to the people who believed with Bitcoin since the beginning.

I found the below image online, this was exactly 13 years ago when the price of bitcoin was still as good as zero, it is seen on the table that exactly today, being the 6th of October, 2009(13 years ago), with $1, one could purchase BTC1,130.53...
I then tried to calculate what BTC1,130.53 is worth today according to Bitcoin's current market price, and I am indeed overwhelmed.
Makes me kind of asking myself where I was and what was I doing at this time 13 years ago  Huh Huh
(...)

This image makes me happy as the future of BTC is very big. Since this day, in picture, nothing has changed on the Blockchain. While the dollar and other currencies only fell.

Sure, it would have been great to load up when it was only $1, but you can't always tell the future. You can't beat yourself up over this kind of thing because there will always be new opportunities coming up. Don't stress on the past just focus on the future!

If anyone knew in advance that Bitcoin would grow in popularity and price, everyone would buy and invest in Bitcoin. We all know a person bought a pic chai with 10k bitcoins if that person had known he would never have paid 10k bitcoins for a pizza. So I say that no one can ever achieve hundred percent success in this cryptocurrency. If 100% success could be achieved then people should accept it in advance.

This is how Btcoin prorgess and process. The process will not betray the results
We may be witnesses of Bitcoin's journey so far, how Bitcoin has gone down and up so far, the number of people or parties who don't like it and finally spread FUD about Bitcoin. However, in the end, Bitcoin remains superior and until now and beyond

Even if you did buy BTC then, most people would have sold at $1 and $10 and $100, etc...

Very doubtful, that anyone would hold that amount for 10+ years until now.
I think you are very correct about this because some investors are never interested about the future price of Bitcoin or believe in future investment like buying at a particular price and leaving the coin for a longer period of time before selling it or trading it. Most of us that call ourselves a trader or investors are so scared of the market reaction that we are only interested in the present price or making few dollars because we sell our holdings.

So investors can even sell their holdings after making few dollars from the market thinking that is the best way to trade the market. We need to have the habit of holding for a very long time before selling our holdings so that we can benefit in a long run.

In 10 years to come,  bitcoin price might reach $200k or above, if by then you decide to show new investors in crypto the price history of bitcoin. They won't believe that there was a time bitcoin price was hovering around $19k- $20k by this time in 2022. They will feel wowed that they missed the opportunity to know or invest in bitcoin then(2022). How we are feeling now about the price of bitcoin 13 years ago, that's how the new investors in bitcoin will feel in 10 years to come. If the bitcoin price hits $250k and above. It will turn out to be an involvement of different sets of investors

How does it make me feel? Yeah,  I was already over my "regret" from not being able to learn about trading Bitcoin back then. No point regretting something that was already done anyway so....... that is that.
Imagine if one point Bitcoin still dip at that low one day though. I would not really look into it, but I can imagine the opportunity I can get to get more than 1 BTC at that point, lol.

Too bad my teenager years really hindered my learning to crypto.

I do always have that feeling of regret and have the same questions on mind on how the heck i did miss this one? Considering that im always on computer shops into those times when im still in college.
I was really just too that careless but well its not really that good on always looking back on the past.It would really just give out that kind of stress deep inside. Cry
If we were able to buy even just $1 price then seeing the price as of today then its really good to think and imagine on having that financial freedom
that we could have if we do able not to miss out those chances.

All of us who discovered bitcoin a few years ago have thought about  "I could have discovered this before ". But this is not really important imo.

Bitcoin wasn't the same 13 y ago. You wouldn't be able to set up a wallet easily like today, it was problema hard to use. The solutions we know today, like electrum, seed phrase, etc are much younger than 2009. This was something for people very interested in cryptography and new technologies.

What we can do now is to keep an eye open for new opportunities.  There is not going to be other bitcoin,  but there are other opportunities out there. We are in a tertrible bear market all over the world, plenty of opportunities and risks

The same question would pop also to everyone when we've finally realized that we've missed that opportunity.

It's okay. You'll never know what you might have done when an increased price for bitcoin happened while you're holding that a lot.

13 years ago I didn't know anything about bitcoin maybe I was somewhere and what I was doing even though at that time Bitcoin was $1=1.130.53 BTC, so I think at the beginning we didn't know anything and only knew Bitcoin in 2014 Don't buy more at a low price, because you don't feel that the year will be in the future so you're wasting an opportunity that you never imagined today.

I don't know from the past until now who is still holding on to Bitcoin but what is certain is that the average holder has sold it and it becomes an unforgettable memory of history that will always be remembered in the future.
This event has already happened, so it will only be history that many people will remember.

Mere looking at this image makes me realise how important it is having the right information at the right time, because you aren't the only one amazed by this, because i too, of which if only had we invested just this $1 back then which was very common, by today we will all be millionaires with the current pump in the price of Bitcoin. But however, it's basically not too late to still invest in Bitcoin, because in the next 13yrs from now so will people compare the price of Bitcoin and regret wishing they had invested this day when it's price skyrocket to $100,000 per BTC anytime soon..
So, its never too late to invest in Bitcoin

This chart makes me feel nothing because i know it was impossible to know the potential of bitcoin at that point of time. I did not know about bitcoin in 2009 but even I did, i would not have wasted 1 dollar in money which had no value at that time. I am being honest here.

No one is a fortune teller to know that bitcoin will be over 50K to 60K, If everyone knew this, wouldn't everyone have sold everything to buy bitcoins only in 2009?

maybe if i know bitcoin since 13 years ago maybe i will take my savings in the bank to buy more because i believe the technology in bitcoin will grow rapidly and will be valuable, unfortunately i was introduced by my friend in bitcoin in 2016 ago and I joined this forum to get to know more about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, at least I'm not late and hold a little bitcoin in my wallet as a future asset, whoever bought bitcoin in 2009 and then he is the luckiest person and mr satoshi has more much of what we know, over the past 13 years bitcoin has really progressed well
