voting, you don`t want others to know what you voted, so even if you lost the vote people would not be like "I told yah so" or hold it against you, or if you made a dumb vote like lets say "should killing another person be legal" and you voted yes.

You could stop prejudice against the losers of the vote. Water under the bridge to everyone who lost the vote or won the vote.
