NoteNo one can stop its adoption
Let us not lie to ourselves about no one can stop Bitcoin adoption. The only reason why Bitcoin adoption is increasing and still doing well in the market is that the governments somehow supported it.
If the whole government of the world wages wars against the use, investment, and mining of Bitcoin worldwide there's a high chance that Bitcoin can be stopped. This is the reason why some crypto enthusiasts once were working on having land/environment that will be only for the crypto enthusiast.

Today i came across a really interesting Post on twitter and its shows in a video how the mayor of lugano (switzerland) was paying for the goods and services rendered to him with bitcoin all over the city  and i came to the conclusion that its only a matter of time before the adoption of bitcoin is going to be seen like this in every city of the world.
Switzerland is one of the countries in the world that acknowledge the potential of Bitcoin and also support it

In my country, you’ll see more people are getting more interested about Bitcoin, though there are still a problem since most of them think about an easy money with Bitcoin without even understanding it, some are just getting hyped by someone.
You have revealed that people in your country are very interested in learning about Bitcoin. But you have expressed one of their problems, but you have not correctly expressed what the problem is. Maybe Bitcoin is not legal in your country. Bitcoin is being used stealthily. Bitcoin is legal in only a few countries in the world. But the people of the rest of the country are secretly using Bitcoin. As the popularity of bitcoin is increasing day by day in every country then the government of every country should give legitimacy to bitcoin. This will increase both the value and popularity of Bitcoin. And the youth unemployment rate in the country will decrease.

Adoption in terms of acceptance of bitcoin on different needs is happening good all around. Along with this users who prefer to spend on terms of bitcoin too have increased. When we talk of mass adoption, it isn't happening around. For this we need countries to legalize the usage of bitcoin and show interest same as El Salvador. For now we're at the beginning days and hope we'll experience good days in the coming years.

And it will continue to grow even bigger, and will do even better. I have to tell you, bitcoin is not something that looks like going away anytime soon, if by some miracle we build something that is even better than bitcoin one day, then maybe it will go away but right now it is obvious that there are absolutely no situation or altertnatives to it that could make it work and this is the best thing.

There are a lot of people who are aware of this, millions of people know this, but there are new people who realize it everyday as well, it's obvious that we are going to end up with something that is not coercive like fiat and will go back to using sound money more and more.
And this is one of the main differences between bitcoin and fiat, we are forced to use fiat and governments take advantage of this by printing more of it whenever they want and steal from us through the inflation tax, but bitcoin is not coercive, you can adopt it or not, and in order for someone to use anything they need to find a benefit, and bitcoin offers many perks when compared to fiat, so people are adopting bitcoin out of their own volition and this makes their users to be way determined compared to those which hold fiat.

The reality is that when someone talks to a group of people and they don't understand anything or don't use bitcoin, there is a tendency for that person to say, adoption is going badly.

If you see this good news then you get excited and say, wow the adoption is going very well.

And for both cases it is relative, it is something that honestly cannot be measured, just saying that it exists and it is very possible that as things happen today one day we will wake up and it will go viral, incredibly its use will become widespread and we can use it. Or quite the opposite, it will be maintained over time and will be used, but in an important derivation of users and maintaining that expectation of...

I don't know if there is different between using of bitcoin and adoption of bitcoin. And my mind tells me that there are two different concepts, adoption means taking bitcoin as the acceptable asset or coin or money in one's financial dealings while using means buying and selling with bitcoin. Even though you not adopted bitcoin as a legal tender you can still use it to buy and sell therefore, I have not seen or heard of the increasing adoption of bitcoin every day as the OP said, but the uses of the asset increases every day and night. Apart from El Salvador and Central African Republic that have adopted bitcoin as a legal tender is there any other country again that I have not heard of it?

in fact, as time goes by, you can be sure that more and more people will adopt bitcoin because the name bitcoin has spread throughout the world, even if someone accepts it or not,
but the adoption rate of bitcoin is increasing due to news on social media and so on. then you can be sure that the number of people adopting bitcoin will increase, so it's no wonder that many people are investing in bitcoin for the long term because many predict that bitcoin adopters will increase.
I mean, that's what adoption is literally. Bitcoin being used on a much larger scale because more people are becoming aware of its features and benefits. Can't get any simpler than that. News and Social Media does a little good for bitcoin, but for the most part they would most likely trash upon it every chance they get. What works best is still word of mouth, and it could be executed in multitudes of ways. Seminars, Meetings, announcements, all that stuff.

There is still a lot of work that needs to be done. When it comes to micro transactions, Bitcoin still isn't the perfect choice. Yes we do have options like the lightning network, but for everyday usage it must be even easier to use.

I think the idea of Bitcoin being digital gold still fits a good bit better than Bitcoin being a currency. The required number of confirmations and the time for transactions to confirm can still be a bit too long for many use cases. But still, Bitcoin is developing right as we speak and if it overcomes a couple of hurdles it could indeed be functioning as a perfect currency one day.

Well, if the price is about to increased we can see a huge adoption while if the market is on bear status we cannot see people talk about bitcoin, it happens everytime and i always witness because i am here on this furom, so many question ask repetitively every moment when bull market is about to begin.
By the way, yes, every time the market shows a positive trend, many news media just talk about it.Which, accordingly, arouses great interest among ordinary people and some of those who have read the news will be interested even more and possibly invest in Bitcoin.Even on my example,my friends write to me every time and ask me something about cryptocurrency when they see a lot of headlines in the news. Some of them have already bought some cryptocurrency.

Like the video in this tweet bitcoin is already spreading and many people have started accepting bitcoin as a means of payment in their small business Enterprises and firms in my own country (Nigeria) although its still not allowed to transact bitcoin with the local fiat bank in my place but the use of bitcoin is still spreading and its doesn't stop people from trading through peer to peer transaction and i hope the government of the world starts seeing the value and force that bitcoin is coming with in the world today and start legalizing it in their own country.

It's great to read success stories of bitcoin from other parts of the world. This is exactly what we need bitcoins for, to have one currency that can be used all around the world and is not affected by governments. To me it seems that especially small businesses can profit from accepting bitcoins as a form of payment. Bitcoin became so popular in the last two years that we need to keep the trend growing. It's one thing for businesses to switch to bitcoins, it also needs the crypto community to use this option. It's up to all of us to make sure that the demand for crypto payments is growing. Only when the companies see how many people are using cryptos they will also adopt them. The same goes for the local banks who are still reluctant to deal in bitcoins. Eventually they have to change their mind and give into the demand from the consumers.

Today, since bitcoin passed the 24,000$'s mark, it immediately became a trend topic on Twitter, and people took the opportunity to share some news of bitcoin adoption around the world, similar to the one presented in OP. I didn't know, but it was said 770 shops in South Africa already accept bitcoin as payment method. That is a good signal bitcoin isn't being adopted only by investors, but also by merchants and retail sellers.

As fiat currencies get more depreciated, it's likely news like this become more common each new day.
bitcoin will grow more and more, and more people will adopt it, especially when the bitcoin price soars, of course there will be many people who want to own it to make a profit. on the other hand, with so many shops opening payment services with bitcoin, you will feel that the main function of bitcoin will be realized, although we don't know when this will happen in its entirety, what is clear is that more and more users are day by day

as long as the internet has reached an area, we can see that most of today's young generation are familiar with bitcoin. and then spread to their parents and their families. and one day when the majority of citizens in a country are familiar with bitcoin, that's when a country inevitably has to regulate laws regarding this matter. and now one by one countries in the world have started to make laws regarding crypto and bitcoin assets. like the latest one is from Brazil. and I think soon more countries will do the same. and this brings closer to global adoption of bitcoin. but of course it takes a long time maybe years or more.
There should be also a proper orientation to others who are new in crypto, in my country there are plenty of users who wanted to tries it but then news online or in televisions only the scam issues are announced that makes others doubt it. Crypto will only be to those who are willing to take risk as we can’t guarantee to others that they will get profit. It requires knowledge and patience as only those who are capable to invest and trade will succeed in bitcoin. Many will know bitcoin and might tries it but not all will stick in using or having it.
No one is obligated to join Bitcoin so why will we have one? It's not like the education that each people must learn because they will be needing it later on. Those who are willing to learn Bitcoin are still welcome in the forum. If they are truly eager then they will do a research. If we are lucky then we can be in a community where there are existing Bitcoiners who help educate people around them.

It's only sad that most that we see in the media are fake news and tries to damage the reputation of Bitcoin. Maybe they are only paid by the governments or those Bitcoin haters. This is why many people are brainwashed and believe that Bitcoin is bad.

That would be great but I doubt it would work, anyone that is interested in bitcoin can learn more about it with a quick internet search, if people keep getting scammed is not only because scammers are very active but because they concentrate only on how to make money with bitcoin.

And as long as this is true then not amount of orientation will make any difference as the target audience will never watch it until it is too late.

Not surprising though but honestly, we are still at a very low level of crypto adoption. Meaning that we still need many years to fully adopt Bitcoin. However, it was not totally bad as it was, we can't urge people to adopt crypto if they are not willing to do so or if the government will not support this. I was already happy to see the growing number of establishments that offer Bitcoin/crypto as a mode of payment. But then, still not enough to make everyone value Bitcoin and give trust in the system because I know uncertainties are still on their mind until now.

I also find that bitcoin adoption is still very low, compared to other assets, it is still nothing. The biggest barrier so far is none other than the government, the government doesn't accept it, and most people don't want to learn about it even though they all have heard about the name bitcoin. It is almost impossible for the government to ban bitcoin, but to become popular and widely accepted, it really needs government support.
Worries and uncertainties arise when we heard rumors about banning Bitcoin because we know that government really has an influence on the community and of course, we don't want to comprise our investment as well. Honestly, we kinda need full support from the government in order to give peace of mind to the businessmen and merchants. I know they are willing to take risks accepting Bitcoin but because they are not sure about the support of the government, they are also doubtful and not sure if they will push through.

It is interesting to note that use of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies by many small business is on the rise in many countries, but level of adoption varies from country to country and city to city. Some countries, such as japan and Switzerland have more progressive approach towards crypto currencies and they are working to regulate them in a way that general public can use it. While others remain skeptical and have yet to put any legal frame work in place.
Despite these differences, it is clear that crypto currencies have the potential to have significant impact on financial landscape and it will be interesting to see how governments and central banks respond to this growing trend.
