People themselves must be able to get the information they need, at school they only need to teach this.
The school should give a general understanding of what exists in the world, while the man is obliged to decide which of all this he wants and will study.

I agree with this and my opinion is that the current system of education is bad because it forces people to stay at school up to a certain age.

People should have the freedom to learn what they want and what they think will be profitable for them.

They should learn the basics of every subject at school to be able to make a choice and see what they might like and what they might be good at. The rest is self learning and research.

Addressing the future, cryptocurrency such as bitcoin should be taught in schools. This is why I did innovate a basic strategy as my research to used base numbers in cryptographic algorithm.

However, the computer is there to compute the numbers. But still, learners should be able to know the manual computation and how it increase and decrease according to its equivalent value.

In addition, this will make the new evolution of numbers of Mathematics.

As far as bitcoin concurs the world, it will be better if individuals know the basics of how this kind of currency run, also, the lack of knowledge about bitcoin leads people to doubt about its persistency and capacity to produce and gain money.

School is the second place to learn other than our own home, so I giess schools teaching the basics about the worlds cryptocyrrency won't be bad, instead it will fascinate them.

I've read about many schools that have courses related to blockchain and the concept of cryptocurrency across many country. Virtually everyone who have access to internet knows about cryptocurrency and i must say it's a good thing, the only problem is that they see it as an investment option for making profits rather than a decentralized financial institution and this is where teaching of Blockchain and the concept of cryptocurrency in school have a lot to do in order for the outside world to see the true purpose of this sector. I implore every school to include the teaching of Blockchain into their learning curriculum in order to breed the future that have proper understanding of this industry

Bitcoin and education is a part of crypto market. without education you can,t success on crypto market. I know that bitcoin is one kinds of learning in crypto market. This bitcoin is absolutely essential to upholding the security of the blockchain. Since each block contains a different hash, it is immediately clear if an individual attempted to change a transaction on a previous block. Others on the network would be alerted to an attempted hash change is learn from education. Bitcoin system are process appears more complex than it actually is. Combining and splitting value refers to the process of splitting a group bitcoin into smaller values. This allows all transactions to be processed in the blockchain market. So the last of speech bitcoin and education are also good.

As far as I know, there's a specific topic in our economic subject that discussed basic information regarding with bitcoin. It brings awareness to my fellow students that there's a digital form of cash, which makes them ask different question as if it's possible to use as a payment method for products/services and if it's legal to use. It was discussed to see how different forms of currency can affect the economy of a country and foreign exchange market.

It shouldn't be a course in it's own, it should be a subject. And moreover there are already lots of online courses where you can learn everything you need to know to be a Blockchain engineer/developer, whatever they are being called. I do go through EdX, Udemy and Coursera and I have seen Blockchain courses there. So anyone that's interested in it can still apply and study and get the certificate.

I can remember that one of my friends studied Economics in school, but after he graduated, he studied Programming online and for the certificate, and now he's working as a programmer. So these online courses are good and you get a job with the certs.

Maybe cryptocurrency can be taught at the high-school or university when someone can think about cryptography because that will need a basic of programming to learn cryptography. And not all people can understand the language because I guess that will be more complicated than the other programming language. The learners should know about computation, but I don't know because I don't understand about programming at all like other people.

Indeed, bitcoin should be introduced in schools, because the blockchain technology used by bitcoin can be useful for human life.
The earlier you get to know bitcoin the better, because bitcoin can make money too. And blockchain technology can be used in
various sectors, not only the financial sector. Learn cryptocurrency especially bitcoin can make our lives better.

I have this thought after watching The Imitation Game.
It is more about cryptography and I guess the blockchain is related with that.

Hell, I don't even understand those codes. But some just do. We call them the genius.
I think there is a chance to insert it in students studies but never as directly consuming time.
Maybe used as an example and it will depend on the students if they will open their eyes into broadening their knowledge about bitcoin.

Blockchain got its own learning progress. Some of the users here learn the basics and fundamentals of blockchain and how it works not in a academy but most of them just taught themselves using the internet.

Why does it need to require such dimploma or anything that proves of your capability on blockchain studies? I think the fair question is does these universities guarantees that if newbies learn they could use it on work or even create something that has an added value on cryptocurrency field?

For now, there are few universities who taught these courses and most of them are in capital city of each country. If a person is interested to learn this stuff for free, He/She can always read and watch some countless articles and tutorials about it. after he reads most of it, he can start to lool for the universities that have this kind of course. there are some alternatives too that he can always enroll an online class with this kind of lesson that are related to blockchain.
I think educating people about Bitcoin need no requirements in universities instead this can be done by Forum members that is educated about crypto and how Bitcoin works.

there was this account here in forum in the name of Cris or Chris something that helping His People learn about Bitcoin for even free because he Believes in crypto and supports this market continuously things that i think will be very helpful because not all people can afford university courses or even wanted to go in schools just to learn this.
so if we will extend our hands and try to educate our own people in neighborhood ?for sure the crypto will grow even faster .

Few universities are already teaching about blockchain courses.

Do you notice that these courses use the word "blockchain" and not "Bitcoin".

The university courses I checked out, are misguided at best. They don't distinguish Bitcoin from replicated linked list.

That's like a biologist not seeing being able to distinguish a rhino from a pebble.

There's been this big news that France included cryptocurrencies and blockchain into the official school curriculum. There won't be a whole subject dedicated to it, of course, but there will be some lessons as a part of Economics (and perhaps Computer Science, I am not sure). Moreover, some universities offer courses in crypto and blockchain. Just recently I found about a couple of them in my country (one listed in an online profile, another mentioned by a person who claims to know the guy to teaches it). So while slowly, Bitcoin starts to get attention from the educational system, which is definitely a good and necessary thing.

That will be I think the first move to introduce this bitcoin to these innocent young people. Even the government declines this plan, you cannot under estimate the curiosity of millenials especially in online monetary system.

I found this site what you were saying about France. Great job to their country.

I don't think that we should include bitcoin or blockchain technology in any basic education curriculum that early, there should be a step by step process that enables them to get all the knowledge as much as they can, we also should consider that they make a a financial education foundation for the the people, for me this should be a needed reform to education system, the bitcoin and blockchain technology should be taught as a specialization if they push it to education. On the other hand, giving people a dose of financial education even the most basic is very helpful in the long run.
I do not think we are going to see bitcoin being taught at the basic education level, do governments even teach kids and young people about how their fiat money losses value over time and about how they should save as much money as they can and then buy assets that hold value instead of useless stuff? If the answer is no, then why do we have any expectation that bitcoin is going to be taught at schools and expose the truth to young people? Governments like the way things are at schools and they like to keep people ignorant about how the monetary system really works and I doubt they will teach about bitcoin massively at schools unless bitcoin takes over the economy.

In my own personal opinion, it is only possible for bitcoin to be teach in schools if the government have legalized cryptocurrency in their country because there will be a chance that they will approved to teach cryptocurrency in their educational system.
It can move better from being part of educations once the country itself recognized the used of bitcoin/crypto, it's good to see that there's support coming from the government as more people will be interested especially those young age, if they'll be able to follow this chain and enhance their educations about the possibility and the usages they can bring new sets of ideas and enhance everything for the future.
Well, legality in a wider scope is the basis for any university or school to be able to apply the curriculum in the field of cryptocurrency, but in reality the legality that occurs is still uneven and even still lacking in actual use so that making crypto for a curriculum itself will still get trouble. So I just feel that a broader introduction by the government itself is the main thing to do until finally cryptocurrency and blockchain technology can be learned at school.
