I see "Adoption" to be the next big thing in the next 10 years. It is yet to see how governments and other financial institutions will allow this adoption of crypto and how will they react to seeing the common man being in control of the finances.

How can altcoins have any long-term potential if they are just a promise of a product that will never be delivered? The formula for altcoins always stays the same - claim revolutionary innovation, investors jump in, a few years pass, nothing is achieved, project quietly dies, bagholders end up with losses, the team moves onto their next project.

Meanwhile Bitcoin was a complete product since t he first day of its release, and it basically only has to wait for people to start using it.

bitcoin is a long term investment where since 10 years ago if you keep bitcoins and sell them at this time maybe you will be one of the millionaires if you invest in a few years ago but for the next 10 years we don't know what will happen to bitcoin even though there are many miners who can still survive in the crypto world will the price get better or will it get worse as happened 10 years ago of course it can't be predicted whether bitcoin will still exist for decades to come

All the other coins have just one big problem, they are either too centralized or are straightaway VC-backed which makes it difficult for anyone to trust them completely because you know eventually there is a set of capitalists sitting on the other end. Bitcoin on the other hand offers higher decentralization and is also not backed by any known person atleast, so it gives higher confidence to people in it. This is why I think even in next 10 years you won't find any currency surpassing bitcoin on number 1. unless there is a completely open-source currency, a great percentage of which isn't held with single person and offers much higher features than bitcoin in terms of speed, cost and scalabilty, then this thing is possible,

As an individual what is your real aim of coming into Cryptocurrency?
From my own part, I came into Cryptocurrency because I saw the advantages decentralized services has over our traditional financial means of transactions.
I know many has seen the investment benefits that Bitcoin offers and because of this, our population keeps growing sporadically. But, allow me to tell you that Bitcoin is more than an investment plan and if by chance any coin goes above it in price, I won't be surprised.
But I will be surprised, if any surpasses Bitcoin in utility and adoption.

If there is a chance that bitcoin can be topple, it should be it's early years because it is vulnerable to attacks like FUD. But no, not a single altcoin was able to get close to bitcoin because it's simple the prime movers. And with that said, I don't think that there will be coin in the future that can surpassed bitcoin in terms of support from investors. And from the last time we heard, there are governments who chooses to make bitcoin legal tender.

The last ten years have given me and everyone of us a huge profit and i am not sure how big the price would go. When it comes to technology there are other projects that are doing a much better job in terms of scaling but it hard to predict when those projects will take off. I am expecting investors to jump course at a point in time when the price reach a certain valuation, but hard to predict when that would be.

Bitcoin has been on the market for a decade now. There was an explosion, but there were still limits and no revolutionary ideas and places, but the next 10 years would be different.
Bearing in mind the Coronavirus attack has taught us how important fast transactions are and the only cryptocurrency is the solution to it, and it is certain that cryptocurrencies will be mainstream with some visions compromised in the next ten years.
and the growth of bitcoin continues to grow over time and the adoption rate continues and users continue to grow and so on, as long as it exists, I think bitcoin will continue to exist and will affect its price even though it continues to fluctuate but the price will increase from the previous high price and don't waste it this.

Given that Bitcoin is old, it can be viewed as a coin that has a more limited potential to grow than some altcoins. It can still grow 10x from what it's currently worth, though, so the potential is quite high. As for the future, I think it's highly unlikely that Bitcoin will be surpassed by any coin in 10 years. And unless something very devastating happens (like a nuclear war, which now seems more likely than ever), I think cryptos will remain relevant and gain a bigger user base than they currently have.

nothing can surpass Bitcoin I think but if only to take big profits there are many Altcoins available but to be able to surpass Bitcoin price it will not happen, even if for the next 10 years I think Bitcoin will continue to grow and increase in price. it has been proven from previous years.

That's a special value, can't be explained easily. In another 10 years we will pass 2 halvings and cyclically of course it strongly supports the value of bitcoin to be 2-3 times more expensive than the current price. Many large companies dare to invest in bitcoin. There are even countries that have made it a means of payment. The market has developed well, more and more people believe in crypto and the volume is also continuing to rise. That means there will be changes to the transaction tool in the future. Crypto may be the alternative.

I don't think we will see another coin in 10 years that is going to surpass bitcoins as the number 1 crypto currency. For me it seems impossible that investors one day will not like bitcoins anymore. All the current investors would need to lose confidence and sell their coins to bring the price down to 1,000 USD or below - that seems very unrealistic. This of course doesn't mean that there won't be any new project what will be more profitable that bitcoins in the next 10 years. With a bitcoins price of around 40,000 USD it is hard to imagine we will see another few hundred percent increase any time soon. A price increase of just 100% would already mean a new ATH. A new project starting at 0.1 USD has it much easier to make big returns in the future than bitcoins. In my opinion BTC will be a very good investment to store value and have some longer term profits, but new alt coin projects will be the best place to go for the high risk / high reward trades.

Manage to surpass Bitcoin in terms of what? adoption or in terms of price/coin? Even Ethereum which can be considered the best Als at the moment is still way behind in price/coin however, since you are most focused on gains on investment in the short term, we could say that most investors have little capital and would prefer investing in some Alts which might likely be more profitable but that's it, nothing else can be compared to Bitcoin.

If I say Bitcoin is an elephant, then the other alt-coins will be Bull, Buffalo, and goat. Bull, goats, buffaloes can be healthy by blooming, but they can never be like elephants . My point is that no matter how much other alt-coins swell, Bitcoin can never be beaten. And if that's the case in 10 years, then of course not.
