In fact, YES! I never encounter but I'm sure it will used in crime because it is digital currency and hard to find the people behind that transaction. For example, the criminal pay online using the bitcoin and the drugs will get in the said place, so that it is hard to know the transaction and who is the criminal.

Problems like this that often make the public view of bitcoin worse. In fact, money is also likely to serve as a crime tool, only bitcoin in a virtual form, and the government still has no way to prevent it effectively. So most governments prefer not to give regulation on this matter.

Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.

I have never heard that bitcoin has been used or is involved in crime. Bitcoin because he did not know everything, it's not quite well known in the world. Critics have only been discovered recently that criminals do not know anything about bitcoins. Then how do the criminals use it? they will be very hard because bitcoin security is very powerful

Bitcoin has been and is currently used by criminals in their illegal transactions and the same also to fiat money - we can't avoid these and it is the enforcer's duty to catch them. Because bitcoin was not created for the criminals but criminals can use it at their disposal and risk.

Everyone's can use bitcoin coz it's a digital currency that's why illegal activities can use bitcoin to send and receive transaction so it wont connect to any central banks so governments will not track them.

It is very alarming to know that people without conscience still make way to use bitcoin illegally for the crimes. It might affect the transaction of trading and some that use bitcoin for buying. What’s sad about this is that, there is no existing law yet that supports and gives care for bitcoin users.

As long as you do all due diligence to prevent yourself from being a victim of a scam, you don't really need to worry about holding or having a bitcoin. Criminals do everything to do illegal things in everything including bitcoin and even much more with fiat money.

One reason why they can be used in crimes is because of the anonymity that they offer. It would be hard to trace who used btc to purchase things.

Sometimes bitcoin is used for crime. And it's just for money. Many of the users feel uncomfortable about people who commit crimes. Because bitcoin is decentralized so many of the criminals use bitcoin for crime.
Bitcoin is very secure and safe crypto currency. But some criminal mind people try to use it for some illegal purposes. The bitcoin is decentralized virtual currency. That is why they trying to wrong use of Bitcoin. But the core developers who are working on Bitcoin restrict the criminal for performing any transaction illegally. Bitcoin is still safe in transactions and fast in payment. Bitcoin is most profitable currency of the world in future.

Bitcoin is already outdated in this area, Monero is currently used in crimes, it's more anonymous

It's already outdated but still, it is the most preferential coin that was being used to such illegal and criminal activities. Up to this date, there's no way you can trace back the information either the sender or receiver for a certain transaction. Even the IP address or network where the transaction took place is impossible to decrypt. It ain't right to point out BTC alone, a lot of digital coins created follows Bitcoin anonymous feature which gave these fraudsters, hackers, scammers, and criminals a lot of options to choose from. As long a coin has its face value, these evil-minded people won't stop using cryptocurrencies for their wrong actions.

Governments say they ban crypto because people use it for crime and money laundry. In reality, they fear the losing of the masses control over people. Cash is even more dangerous than crypto IMO

I am quite sad about this since it was true. There are some criminals use the services of bitcoin in buying drugs and etc. ;
but I am pretty sure that the company of bitcoin will not tolerate this kind of activity since they have collaboration with government. Therefore all people seen by this act will be punish by the law.

exactly as long as they may know that they may have some chances on how they may able to get a lot of things out there and they may get to attached for it to take some criminal things to do for they may have and also this is may cause for them to do that and yet all of us or even that you have some knowledge about computer you may not able to trace and to know who may be one of the people that are behind on it.

While we're at it, cash is also used in crimes, so are credit cards, knives, gloves, baseball bats etc.
I guess you get the point.
Everything has two sides, Bitcoin is convenient but also used by criminals. This is inevitable, but I believe this can be avoided with the future development of science and technology.

I think the worry of Bitcoin being used for crime will slowly fade out as we adopt it as an actual currency. You do realize that USD and all other fiats are used for crime too right? And most of the time those are quite untraceable too. If anything Monero would be the "currency for criminals" since it has absolutely no chance of being traced short of someone having their wallet stolen or getting it confiscated by authorities.
