As far as i know the bitcoin is already use in the black market a long time a ago because of the perks it gives to the user and it is anonymous so no one could detect your transaction if it is illegal but they can see the transaction happening so Yes bitcoin are use in crimes but just a medium or instrument to send or may a illegal transaction like selling drug guns and other illegal things without the prohibition of the government so obviously secretly they are selling this.
