Banning of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin by some countries is not longer strange to us here in the crypto community. My believe is that many of those countries will have a rethinking and rearrange their plans towards crypto as most of them are just against cryptocurrency just to save the economy and citizens of their nation. Besides crypto to me has caused more good than harm as it serves as employment opportunities in today's world.

India is an open country. I don't think the government will launch strict prohibition against the special currency.

I recently in the crypt world, but as far as I understand, there are very many programmers and experts in the crypto world from India! India is keen to actively develop in the direction of the crypto market! India, like many countries are concerned about the appearance of new ico! the emergence of these fraudulent projects, which are not controlled by anyone, very much disturb the state and many politicians! This is the main headache in the crypto market! but I am sure that the world community is already fighting with this and will soon be able to resolve this issue! that's exactly after solving this problem, very many people and countries will open their doors to the crypto market!

There is not any ban on Cryptocurrencies in India as of now. The Finance Minister said in his statement that Bitcoin is not a legal tender, but didn't call it illegal. The government welcomes blockchain technology in its payment gateway systems.
You do have to pay taxes on the profits you earn through Cryptos. It attracts a tax of 30%
Wow that's a pretty huge amount figure for taxes up to 30%. It looks like the government of India will gain great tax profits from crypto if altcoin is used for payments in India. I think it’s good because the government of India accepts the cryptos without having to limit the cryptos in India.

why India is exposed to bitcoin banning virus?
when India recently became a favorite of the developers of blockchain in investing projects that have the potential to shine in the future, it is very dear ,,, the Indian government also indirectly, burden the developers to develop

as far as i know there are some restrictions in India regarding cryptocurrencies and there has been some "rumors" regarding bitcoin ban but there has not been any real news or any laws against it.
if you want a more accurate answer you may want to ask in Indian board here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=89.0
Right, even I haven’t heard rumors that are so accurate about the government of India made the law and opposed the crypto in their country
And it’s also true for better and accurate information can be asked on the India board forum that has been provided by bitcointalk.
Maybe there will be a good news about Indian government bans bitcoin. Smiley

Third world countries are not relevant at all.

No,nothing along the lines of a ban is either in the making nor has it occured yet. I think you're confusing regulatory action and banning something, as India is getting stricter and stricter with the regulations that they're imposing on bitcoin. For more info, I'd check here - https://techcrunch.com/2018/02/03/psa-no-india-hasnt-banned-bitcoin-but-its-still-talking-tough-on-crypto/

It seems this information is helpful Smiley
But if it’s true India bans bitcoin/crypto and about the tax for bitcoin/crypto holders to keep save their bitcoin/crypto, it seems the Indian government is trying earn benefit from bitcoin holders.
Even I’ve never heard if the Chinese government which had banned ICOs is taxing the bitcoin/crypto holders.

As far as I have heard, India canceled the ban and decided that crypto-currencies will be available inside the state, but they will be subject to new regulations

Any one From India?

Is it true that Cryptos will be banned in India??

Do we have to Pay taxes to Indian Govt. For keeping Cryptos

Really? Cryptocurrency banned in india? Then why? I think this is the best way to earn money and help someone to sustain their family needs. Is it they dont see the importance of cryptocurrency? We can use bitcoin in terms of emergency needs.Because it it digital currency.

The India government's understandability of the ban on encryption is understandable. They do not want bitcoin to destroy the country's economy.

I think indian government do not ban bitcoin now but the indian government says that they do not regard crypto as a legal tender and will try to remove payment by using coins like bitcoins.

I think that if such a ban does not prevent Indians from being fond of bitcoin, it is normal to pay taxes in India, and if bitcoin needs to be developed then it should be taxed in India.
