I do not think so it will destroy altcoins because most of the altcoins will depending the ride on the price of bitcoin, i think when bitcoin boom to $100k there are lots of altcoins will be more profitable and that is the chance to earn more profit.
I don't think so bitcoin increase to $100,000 will kill the price of other altcoins rather it will increase they price, if you have studied the cryptocurrency market movement you will realize that most of the altcoins depend on bitcointalk to make market even just like in 2017 during the all time high price of bitcoin to $19000 ethereuem was around $1500 and BTC raised up to #3,000 and when bitcoin price fall in 2018 their all followed the same trend.
its depend on bitcoin dominance in market.if bitcoin continue its dominance and could stable above 52% , i think is is not good for market stablization.we need it around 40% so bitcoin and altcoin price could balance.but i am sure while btc hit $100k, investors and trader prefer to hold bitcoin
Most of traders already holding their portfolio's half on BTC. So most of them will be pleased if your claim will be true

Alts must have gained their ground and support by then. If I'm right, this boom will not happen once within the short spikes and downs viable Alts will gain support and rally along. It's true some Alts will die in the process but not all.
I don't think with Bitcoin's price boom to $100k, altcoins will be destroyed. Altcoin which has a function in its implementation of the global market needs will continue to survive and even follow the rise in the price of bitcoin. We can take an example when bitcoin price soaring last year, altcoins price also went up. But only real altcoins with real implementation and development, not shitcoins

Now on the cryptocurrency market there are a lot of promising coins and tokens, which are much better than bitcoin in terms of functionality. Therefore, I don’t think that if bitcoin will grow in value significantly, then altcoins will die due to the fact that capital will flow from altcoins to bitcoin.
If Bitcoin's price hits $100k, I believe it may destroy other altcoins especially those that have poor development and has less community as investors will shift their money to bet on BTC but I also believe it will take other Altcoins to new all time highs and could compliment them since there has been a correlation on BTC's price to Altcoins price which are evident right now. I believe when this happens, we might see new trends in crypto markets which has never been experienced before.

then, if bitcoin price touch that level and the majority of altcoins dies, maybe bitcoin will dominate more than 65% from market capitalizations

Shitcoins have no place for a long term position and if bitcoin hits the peak again then I expect that top altcoins will also pump. I don't expect top altcoins to be dead when the spike happen, they will also ride the train and go beyond other coins. If altcoins becomes dead, some coin will replace their position and give a good system to us. More altcoins will go and come, so learn not to hold useless coins. Last bullrun doesn't erase all altcoins I think the next one won't kill off altcoins either and even the dead altcoins will rise from the dead ,every altcoins will be profitable for sure,about the 100k prediction I thinks its way too much for bitcoin to hit that price

First of all, bitcoin is not going to get 100k so soon, it would take some time. On the other hand, i don't think that all altcoins would die. Some good altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano and many others would still be there.
Assume bitcoin reaches such value what will be worth of next level altcoins? I still believe that we could have find good growth in altcoins when the time bitcoin value was emerging.
Proof is there on 2017 time price chart to see how much level altcoins performed along with bitcoin.
First of all, bitcoin is not going to get 100k so soon, it would take some time. On the other hand, i don't think that all altcoins would die. Some good altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano and many others would still be there.
Releiable and legitimate alternative coins will never die, rather they will grow together. All of them are paired with BTC, so it wil be a thing of continuos rejoicing if BTC should attain $100,000 per Bitcoin. I cannot wait to see this happening.
I do not think that an incline in the price of Bitcoin no matter how big it is will destroy altcoin. Altcoin creates its own value and is not inversely proportional to the price of BTC. The destruction of Altcoin depends on their performance in the market. If an altcoin is proven to be worthless, even without any increase of Bitcoin price, will definitely be destroyed.
No way, if bitcoin reach $100k someday, the strength against altcoin aka btc domination will increase. However, you can't deny the fact that after having a lot of new investors or mass adoption, bitcoin will hit $100k which will also lead altcoin to another level, of course, those which has some potential.

I think not, most of the altcoins are gaining momentum if Bitcoin will rise. But reaching $100k for Bitcoin is yet to be proven since the last ATH is just $20k. Anyways, useless altcoins will surely die but not those trusted one's.
I think this is the opinion of an incompetent specialist who absolutely does not understand the essence of the crypto economy. Each altcoin is the core of a closed infrastructure of a specific project and the price of Bitcoin is only important for its price, and not for the project’s work. Moreover, at present, altcoins are practically not tied to Bitcoin as it was a year ago. Many alts can be immediately withdrawn to fiat currencies. Most likely, if Bitcoin grows to $ 100,000, cryptocurrency fever will lead to increased interest in all altcoins, even the most unreliable.
