Yes,,, but what happened after that? Bitcoin went down all the way to $3k, which is 15% of the ATH. But altcoins? After enjoying 100x or whatever, some even went down to 99% of their old value and until today just never recovered. So imagine, if BTC goes to $100k or even $1million. Some alts will survive but I think majority will just simply vanish as nobody will ever trade them.

Yes, we have already seen this trend in 2017, when the price of Bitcoin is increasing automatically the price of altcoin started increasing. But before increasing the altcoin prices it took very long to recover the prices, in the same this year also we might see the same thing happening and now altcoin is completely in a downtrend with the increasing price of Bitcoin.

I think that if Bitcoin reaches 100k, it is very favorable, from experience, I know that when bitcoin starts its Bullish Trend Stage, the altcoins will go down a lot, this is because they sell them fast and thus they do not miss the rise of bitcoin It is normal.

When the altcoins are rising, they go down, but if bitcoin continues to rise, the altcoins will start to rise too, because the trend is bullish and many who are with bitcoin will start to take their money in the altcoins, because they know that the altcoins will continue to rise, which, I think the altcoins will not stay on the road, especially the first of the top of CMC, since they have structures very similar to bitcoin and will not be left behind.

That's why I think that when Bitcoin becomes bullish, the market will be greener than ever, and will have a direct step to a new evolution in the whole market, just as it happened in 2017, when bitcoin was in a bullish trend, most of Altcoins went up and got their ATH, and they dropped the price just when bitcoin started to fall in price.

If this happens as you mentioned. I believe the Altcoins will be of greater benefit than being destroyed. As the Bitcoin effect increases the price of Altcoins will also increase.

i will say it is easy to know when BTC has become strong there will be 2 cases happen, one is Altcoins fall to make BTC stronger and become the one and only, Two is Altcoins will rise along with BTC and bring enitre market up, i personally think the second way is possible because Altcoins is very strong now and even more advanced when compared to an old and slow BTC, so BTC should be used in trading and Altcoins can be used in daily life payments.

I don't think that all altcoins will die and it doesn't mean that just because I have some on my stash, I'm telling this, that's a big no. Most of the market cap and volume of those altcoins will go to bitcoin in the future. And I agree with what Max Keiser said that it will be at the expense of alts.

Many altcoins will go useless and people will become smarter these days because they don't want to gamble with those coins anymore. Instead of investing it to those, they will smartly invest it to bitcoin.

No! I don't think altcoins will die, maybe most of them will fall down its price value but not in that way. Because all potential altcoins in the market will also for sure increase while price of Bitcoin is kicking its value. Just like what happened in Ethereum during the time that Bitcoin
bounce it price in the market the Ethereum price was also kicked its price into 0.1BTC each ETH.

Even without bitcoin going up to that amount, some altcoins without any use case or good team are already dead. If BTC surge to 100k$, nobody will talk about most shitcoins anymore, that's for sure. But all these are just mere fallacies anyway, I believe a time will come when the world will embrace altcoins with proper use cases solving some real life problems.
