Speculator's prediction is accurately good contribution to engage others on avoiding of panic selling. Thus the current market is quite hard to analyze and determine on when it will start to progress . But only the fastest progression is what people's bidding for the remaining months of this year and 2019 is an expected thriven for the desirable peak $20k or more over. And this is the most awaiting transpiration on crypto world.

hopefully it will happen again. I know, so many people are waiting for that to happen, and now many people are holding back their bitcoin, even using this moment to buy bitcoin. well, you can say bitcoin prices are stable at $ 6k, and we just have to wait until the price rises again.

Only price is seems lowering but the integrity of the system is still their you should trust and rely in the system in fact even  Mt Gox mishap they will  able to recover and the investors can claim their bitcoin. Because the system is will define no other force that  would  intend to disintegrates  would be successful.

But that is my point, you should trust in bitcoin regardless of its price, after all do you think that the price has some correlation with the technology behind bitcoin? Do you think that the technology of bitcoin is any lesser just because the price is lower? Because bitcoin is as good as always, it's just the price went down that's all.

Now the price of BTC is falling again and this is very bad.  I was hoping that it started a steady growth and the price this year will grow to $ 10,000.  But it looks like it will be very difficult to predict by the end of the year.

maybe it will happen if there is good news that can trigger an increase in bitcoin prices if there is no good news that makes investors buy bitcoin then it will be very difficult to be able to increase prices again, I believe this year something shocking will happen.

People give their own prediction according to their own analysis and we cannot stop them. I think it is their right. In fact no one is claiming about a certain point or price for which bitcoin price can reach, every person talk about the possibilities and not everyone  is too much sure about bitcoin price.

This year the market is very unstable and the price of coins has fallen very much.  Most likely the price of $ 20,000 will only be in the next year.

I think that might happen if there is good news that can make investors buy bitcoin again and if bitcoin is very difficult to obtain then it could happen. but it takes time, which is not short.

bitcoin needs more support to increase and break any price. many people predicted when it's breaking $20,000, but the truth is no one will have the right prediction. so while the price still moving from bottom to up price, we can try to buy more bitcoin and save it for later. this year is the darkest year for bitcoin like what we see in the past. but I am sure that everything will become normal again, and the price can increase again.

I believe as well that bitcoins can actually reach $20k dollars before the year ends and that is the reason why you should be investing even more right now while it was still low.

If what you say is true, gabmen, that some people fucked up because they bought too much bitcoin during the price rise to $20k, and so now their BTC holdings may likely be in the red.. and perhaps considerably in the red, then perhaps those same people overinvested (and retrospectively we realize that their overinvestment came at the wrong time). 

Accordingly, it seems to me that the fundamentals of bitcoin have not gotten worse in the last year, even though the price has come down, and actually, with the passage of time, there seems to be considerable evidence that the BTC fundamentals are stronger than they were a year ago, with the ongoing development of lightning network and various other ongoing improvements (and also any lack of material problems).  Even though I tend to agree with your assertion that it is not necessarily prudent to come at bitcoin with large sums of money (possibly rising to the level of careless, like you suggest), yet on the other hand, people have made a lot of money by placing value into bitcoin on price dips rather than during times of price rise, and our ongoing stagnation in the $5700 to $8500 territory might demonstrate that this is a decent time to invest large sums, for those folks who use a large sum approach to investing.

Personally, I prefer incrementalism buying and dollar cost averaging to establish my position in anything that I believe that I need to increase my position, which seems that such approach would work in bitcoin at these prices, whether they drop further or go up from here.

It's a bit careless to ask people to invest a huge amount today since, even if we're confident that another ath will be at work, it may take time and not all of us can afford to hold that long. That's a mistake a lot of people made when bitcoin was pumping crazily last year.

Yes it will actually happen it again due to availability of cryptocurrency in other countries as well so we should invest a huge amount today while the market price is still low in order to earn more profit in the future.

There is a possibility for the price of bitcoins to reach $20k dollars before the year ends since there are a lot of people that has been legalized to invest on cryptocurrency and that is the reason why it was possible.

It looks like this year the price of BTC will not grow to $ 20,000.  It is very difficult to predict when the price will again be about $ 20,000.

Even that will be a very good increase in bitcoin price which will give much more boost to bitcoin, people will become too much confident about bitcoin price and therefore they will continue to invest their money in bitcoin which will make bitcoin more stronger and hope bitcoin price will continue to increase.
