It has always been 150%, but when the game is hot and you're getting bursted it might feel like a lot more  Grin

With current bitcoin prices the jackpot is actually worth 224$ WOW!!

I'm clueless when it comes to this game and don't get the basics even after reading the FAQ. I just spent 2BTC on 20 bubbles at 0.1 BTC each and 0.60 BTC on two bubbles at 0.30 BTC. What exactly happens now?

Now you have bubbles in the game, with whatever info you put in them, and you can find it in the big huge table. If nobody bets after you, and the timer runs out, you win the jackpot. If enough people bet after you that you're pushed off the main page, you receive double what you paid for each. If neither of these happen, and the timer runs out, you will lose your money.

Almost right. You don't win double your bet, only 150%.

It was changed? Or am I imagining things?

Thanks for your input, it's awesome to have people review my code! Helps me improve! I have fixed those "issues" Smiley I think I was using .post to begin with to check if timer had expired or something and then I just forgot all about it hehe...

Yes, I just changed it. I'm still planning to make it dynamic, will just have to find the most optimal way first Smiley Been thinking maybe to make it % wise. So that if less than a certain % of jackpot money comes in within a day the jackpot timer is slightly reduced and minimum spend increased (but only AFTER a spend has been made, would not like it to be 1 hour left and then have the jackpot timer suddenly decrease with 1 hour). This may continue for several days until we reach 1 hour.

Will be interesting to see how long this round will last now that we're at 5 hours again. Happy hunting  Grin

Tongue I like to check out other people's code, and while everything works just fine, if you put your script at the bottom of the page to work around the page not being fully loaded, there's another way to do it (using jQuery, though it's possible without as well,) like this:

Code:
$(document).ready(function() {
    // All your code goes here
});

Also, you're sending a POST request with the Ajax to the timer, and I'm not sure why as a GET request would work just fine. Tongue

Seemly bubble game popularity is decreasing...

I disagree... the first round had fewer participants, mostly the same ads over and over again.

This round has a wider variety of ads and one-liners.

I agree. I believe some of us have just become more familiar with the intricacies of the game, as well as more conservative, thus extending the time between bubble purchases.

Been having issues with it not accepting my btc today and yesterday.
Doing it exactly like I did before too.
Not sure what's going on.
That's weird..  Undecided Please provide more info... Did you pay using mybitcoin and then after payment your bubble(s) did not appear? Where did you send from?
