Intro. Hi! I'm a newbie, and Senior at the same time, but only by age. I have a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, a Masters in Physics, a PhD in Bioengineering and am completing an MBA. All that said, those things are only pieces of paper that had and have a purpose, but don't say anything about me.

So, what have I done, well in my professional youth, i developed hardware run by the F4, then the 8080, then the 8085 and the 6800 microprocessor, I got out of that level of programming, with the advent of the 68000, last processor I studied in detail, I have programmed using Linux (old Sluckware distribution), C, C++, Fortran (yes Fortran! Smiley), I'm a dinosaur remember that!, I have programmed in assembly and object code and directly in binary sometimes.

After doing my PHD I went into cardiovascular science and after 10 years in Research I sold my soul to a private company where I became the lead tecnical person in developing new implantable medical devices. I didn't do the design, but the developed the specifications for new devices through basic, pre-clinical and clinical research. In parallel with that, in my free personal time programmed with a team of people in the early 90's one of the first faxtofax over IP and voice over IP systems and a complete real time call-back system, this type of systems forced phone companies worldwide to stop robbing their customers, since we could route the phone calls through the USA and bypass them. For that purpose I used Hylafax, modified it and found and fixed a bug in the early Linux core in the serial code, recompiled the core and published the bug to the group in charge of updates at the time.

Through my work for private companies I filed and got granted a ton of patents. In 2007 I left and started a company on my own with a group of partners. I sold that company and since then I am an entrepreneur. I've following bitcoin very laterally enjoying the success people are having thanks to the openings of the gnu and linux dinosaurs that worked in tight social groups, when only us knew about the social aspects of Internet. Recently I took a course on Android and was saddened to see how our work has again been used for commercial purposes and how everybody keeps on attempting to block everybody else. Most smart phones run on LINUX, and Android and IOS are not real operating systems but only wrappers around Linux. Google and Apple exist thanks to the gnu and Linux groups! People should not forget that.

Last Friday, I got an email from my little cousin in Argentina about getting into bitcoin. I know how hard she works to support her family so I decided to look closer into it. Since then I have read a lot but there is still a lot more for me to read.

I have found what I think is a critical flaw that is about to explode into the system. i'll write more about this in a next post. This is just a brief intro. I mostly use spine001 as my username everywhere and you can find me, my name is Julio Spinelli, you can google me and have fun. I'm very opinionated but love to be proven wrong, since then I learn something, and that is what I enjoy the most!

Warm regards to all who were able to get to the end of this post!
Welcome, doc. You are not alone: we've played with assembly, basic, dBase, Clipper, C, foxbase and so on as well on CP400, tk85, xt, at, etc.

I'm concerned about the bitcoin mining business future. Let me make it simple, for instance one of the best sites I found where you can directlhy buy GH/s with bitcoins, where they have a very active market for this, they charge mining fees to support their electricity and their maintenance of 0.30 cents per Kw/hr and 1.5 W per GH/s, this means that if the pool has 700000 GH/s and the block took 12 hours to solve ==> the pool used a total of 700000 * 0.0015 KW/hr * 12 = 12600 KW, at 30 cents per Kw the pool spent 3780 USD total for maintenance, since the product was 25 BTC, and at 580 usd/btc it means the pool used 6.52 BTC to pay for its maintenance and only the remaining 18.48 BTC can be distributed among the people contributing GHS, that would be 26%, as the difficulty increases (length of the longest black to calculate the has to increases), if the maintenance cost is not drastically reduced, very soon it will eat a 100% of the rewards of solving a block, 25 bitcoins or around 12,000 dollars today. Please tell me I'm wrong!  Roll Eyes

This account is for the Skycoin Foundation. We are coalition of Bitcoin stakeholders funding development projects to improve Bitcoin security and privacy.

The Skycoin foundation is involved in open source projects related to
- Post Proof-of-Work block chain security (secure alternatives to proof-of-work)
- wallet security (hardware wallets)
- transport layer security (reducing ability to identify Bitcoin users from IP data)

We will be announcing a new alt-coin soon, which is the first provably secure coin that is not based upon Proof Of Work.

I offer you NSFW pictures at http://bitcoinporn.tumblr.com pop up and ad free.

I do graphical work, however I do not have a portfolio up, so I do not want to announce that as a service, however if you are a smaller business and would like a logo or avatar, if I have the time I might work off of like micro-bit tips, that way I am able to establish a portfolio and you are able to get something great (I hope) for cheap, win win Smiley

Hey. Smiley
I'm willing to sell pictures of myself to anyone who might be interested, hoping to get a few bitcoins and buy stuff, haha Tongue

Hope that's ok. ^^

How about set up a proper channel for that.

Also don't have images for free elsewhere http://www.spoki.lv/foto-izlases/dudinas-/255119

And I'm so sure you say you are who you are and have full rights to sell whatever photos you have.

Yes. I am selling photos of myself, I need a new iPod, haha :3
NSFW pics might be available for a bit higher, please ask for moar ^^

I can set you up with a platform to do this.

Hello all!

Since I'm a forum noob and am not allowed to post anywhere but here yet, I thought I'd at least introduce my new business built for the bitcoin community.  We all know that storing your long term coins in cold paper wallets is a preferred method of keeping them safe.  How about stainless steel cold wallet cards?  That's what we've done.  You get 10 custom BIP38 encoded cards per order, we ship worldwide, and postage is included in the price.  Come take a look.  I hope you like them as much as I do!  If you have any feedback, please feel free to comment here or using the support tab on our website.

Thanks!
