Hi, I want to develop a web service which will make it easier to pay and receive payments in various crypto-currencies. I want to make it opensource.
I'm intersted in market places such as BTC-e. I have questions about their API, but it's hard to get any feedback from them.
Is there any other multi crypto-currency exchange?

I want to share an idea with you, I'm not going to make this site because I have my own project, but why don't make a bitcoin PTC (Pay to Click)? BitPTC.com, where there are banners paid in bitcoin and users can earn 0.0000....00001 BTC per click.

Hi everyone,

I am the owner/developer of VeriFi (https://www.veri.fi/) . Company name is Cayenne Graphics, we're located in Bucharest, Romania. We plan to integrate VeriFi with smartcard-based Bitcoin wallets and possibly software wallets as well to allow them to call their owner on the phone and ask for permission for certain operations (so that certain payments / actions can be performed when the user is away from his Bitcoin client, software or hardware).

Thank you,

I'm an avid developer of open technologies, and am currently working on an open platform for trading. I have one metric fuckton of experience in highly available solutions (with XX,XXX users per second) - and also have a fair bit of experience in developing financial projects. Information on this will be coming in the near future.

Aside from this - I offer consulting and development contracting for BTC, and our ( https://nuplay.co ) prototype media appliance is also available for BTC on request. Oh, I'm also the guy behind the largest (in terms of traffic) newsgroup indexer on ze' interwebs.

I am looking for someone that may be interested in extending a project that I have been working on. I put together a simple exchange price monitoring widget. Why is that so special? It isn't really. Other than I can select only the exchanges that those developers make available. Mine allows one to create their own list of exchanges.

Here is the most simple example:
http://www.minzie.com/?v1=true&action=pull&symbol=bitfloorUSD

The code can be embedded in any HTML using something like this:
Code:

More information can be found here.

Now that I am done with the spamming portion of the post, I will fully admit that it is only marginally useful. And it is not very attractive. I am willing to spend the time to spiff it up. Is there someone that might be interested in building a simple (and free) android widget that makes use of the API? I would like to do it myself, but I don't have enough bandwidth to tackle that right now. If anyone is interested, let me know. Otherwise, anyone that is so inclined can feel free to use the API.

BTC cant truly replace cash or even credit cards until they act more like the existing forms of online payment.   With paypal or credit cards when you make a purchase it is confirmed instantly - and the merchant takes some of the risk of the transaction being reversed.

Right now, bitcoin merchants take little risk and wait for a confirmation of 10+ minutes, making the user wait.  this wait, though not excruciating, does make it look very different to the customer than using your credit card.

having to wait 10-20 minutes for the first confirmation means theyre not instant and dont feel like using other forms of digital purchases.  maybe the merchants need to find a way of eliminating the confirmation time for smaller transactions or something...

I am a web developer that created a service where users can register .bit domains with Namecoins or Bitcoins. The idea is to make it very easy for anyone to register a .bit domain. As you might know, the manual way with namecoind and shell commands is rather complex.

I hope to get whitelisted to participate in the alternate cryptocurrencies forum.

You can view my site at:

I'm a small business, trading in small sales at the moment, I want to move my sales from eBay/Paypal into the Bitcoin world. My business name is "The 21st Century Pony Express" and I have a twitter account @21stcenturypony. My website just points to my ebay shop at the moment, but I know HTML and can probably integrate bitcoin sales quite easily after some practice.

What I sell: Small electronics such as old tvs, books and toys (especially Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and wooden railways). I also am a bit of fan of Only Fools and Horses and My Little Pony, hence the "Pony" part of my name.

Hi,

Have a couple of ideas in the works.

1. A BTC/LTC related service. Idea has potential to be huge, but kind of worried about sharing as it has very real potential.

But there are some things going to need help on. So anyone that is very experienced in either BTC or LTC and be interested in being paid for their time(assuming they can help in areas we need) Please contact me.

2. Second part is also related to BTC/LTC and merging certain communities.

We are pretty excited and have decent capital available for these start ups. Just need some help.
