Im a web developer, and trying to figure out how to get around the strict exchange rate laws in my country in order to purchase and exchange bitcoins within the country at the very least.

I must say I absolutely love the enthusiasm here! Thanks to all those small businesses entering the world of BitCoin! I'll be sure to check you all out.

Panama offers many financial and legal protections in a stable environment.  Look into it, we're taking any btc services elsewhere though.

The more exchanges the better, if you ask me. I want to start a local exchange, though, and then move to an online exchange later on.

The Bitchef can provide a variety of fine foods, culinary materials and more. We are based in the Mediterranean and interested in trading food for digital currencies.

I have several investors that are looking to create a new exchange.  Is this a worthwhile endeavor or is MTGOX the only exchange that is necessary at this time.

I'm one of the owners at Rethink Networks, we're a top ranking SEO and internet marketing firm.  We currently rank #3 nationally for "SEO Quote" , and #4 for "SEO Service".  Prior to offering our marketing services commercially, we've been utilizing it internally for own businesses for nearly a decade.  

We have established businesses in adult, drugs (legally, nothing shady like pharma) ,  mortgages, financial planning and a huge affiliate network.   I love expansion, and providing a helpful, intelligent service more than anything.

We also own a network of video game services sites, that are run and managed by US citizens (Panama for legal purposes),  rather than underpaid, overworked Chinese sweatshops.   That's what initially had me interested in BTC a few years ago,  offering it as a checkout option on our gaming sites, which also rank very high for their respective game keywords.   With BitPay I see that opportunity, so I'm looking to have that worked into a properly converting checkout.

So that's progressive and should be fun. We will offer BTC to the MMO gaming audience in a crisp and organized way, and we'll also be offering additional incentives for people paying in BTC.


My real interest though is in getting a proper farm established so we can generate BTC and start offering services to the community specifically.  There's always room for an exchange with proper service and CS skills,  but the legal hurdles have me a bit hesitant for that.  

We're thinking Casino, and Sportsbook,  which is a model we already had built prior to BTC taking center stage as it has done.  But that is done a million times already as well, so not too exciting.


What do you , as bitcoin enthusiats, want to see? What type of services do you want offered to you, or for bitcoin ?

Hi, I'm a developer & business guy; I've got access to the new Leap Motion SDK and after running a start up for 5 years I am currently looking into the next big thing I can start developing. I've got a couple of ideas flying around; and also a nice android game prototype which could be the next Angry Birds, with some luck! I'm definitely well impressed by bitcoins and will look how I can tie them into my plan for the next 3 years, for now, I am just day trading them, lots of fun!

But why would anyone import something like shoes?

Nobody really has any idea what bitcoins are around here still.

Only a few lucky ones.

I sometimes ask if a shop takes bitcoins and very seldom does the person know what I am talking about. I think making the digital signature that is a bitcoin easier to transfer inter personally is the most important step. Physical impacts mind more than letters on a screen. A physical transfer of btc in perhaps cheap 128k flash drives that are nearly disposable with wallets containing any amount that could be purchased at kiosks/redbox's with some form of confirmation.
