I'm sure the price will be $3000 difficult to achieve because a lot of things, especially is speculation. the price of the week did indeed go up constantly, but I'm not sure you can continue to survive until the end of the month.
3000 is not realistic, at least not at this point. Right now it will be a hard job to even see 2000 dollar. If 1500 dollar is broken.. then maybe.
But seeing the increase followed by a decrease means resistance is hard.
With the way the price of bitcoin is moving you really cannot say never as you got plenty of time to hit those valuation and if the SEC approves the ETF then it is a matter of time that the price breaks those valuation.In a realistic situation the price could see those valuation with time as more countries will be legalizing bitcoin we could see more investments in it which would increase the price.But seeing the increase followed by a decrease means resistance is hard.
So better to always keep follow the trends and be wise to your decisions..
Everything is possible so it's hard to say exactly but despite current relatively quick rise I don't think that price will touch 3000$ so soon. For that it takes time and all conditions on the market to be right. We can expect further pump but not without any limit and corrections made along the way.
I agree everything is possible but certain thing has more possibility to happen than other thing. Like for example in this case, who would have known that Bitcoin will touch more than $1400 today, but with regards to Bitcoin reaching $3000 either this year or within a year of this post is has a steep possibility. I think it is possible to reach $2000 in a year but reaching $3000 is quite ambitious. Though if ever Bitcoin scaling is solved, then there is no doubt, $3000 is easy or even surpass this amount in a year time.

Bitcoin price literally doubled in one year but since $1200 price range is a little high for most of the people they rather find alternatives to direct buying Bitcoins which would be mining and as long as people can mine for themselves with a cost of even %80 of the current market price they will definitely do it, so unless difficulty increases that much as to make it more profitable to simply buy the coins and not mining them I don't see $3000 or even near $2000 in this year.
Even if ETF approves then people will go and mine instead of buying into the hype.
Home based casual mining is long gone,it is not at all profitable to mine bitcoin with the difficultly level we have,the positive side is that since the alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin people will be investing their time in mining alts and then convert those coins into bitcoin and that is the possible situation now,the speculation of bitcoin will continue and new grounds will be broken with time.Even if ETF approves then people will go and mine instead of buying into the hype.
Maybe it really can happen if you see the potential of bitcoin for now. Well, we can never guess the exact bitcoin price path, but, if the bitcoin price goes up like this, maybe within a year, the bitcoin price will definitely be $ 3000.

Anything that goes up too fast too soon is bound to come down at some point. Bitcoin is not exempted from this and we can’t really expect that the price continues to increase without some corrections along the way. Although $3,000 is a nice price to be at, it must happen at the right time and not be caused by some pump and dump scheme.
$3000 is just not possible, the price will grow little by little so if the price grows about $20 each month, its still not going to be enough to reach that 3000. It will only be possible if ETF will be approved, they were saying its been reviewed again. Assuming it will be approved, all of us will celebrating.
Yes, the sudden increase in the price to 3000$ is not good for bitcoin, I think ETF will agree to accept bitcoin as one of the payment methods.
The price of bitcoin should increase slowly in order to attract more people, the sudden increase in the price will lead to afraid by the people.
After seeing some crazy price movement in all the altcoins in the last week I'd say everything is possible and I wouldn't be surprised if price kept rising above $1500 in May.

Yesterday all coins was in plus and green, today all reds and prices are dropping, but bitcoin is going up and today we saw new ATH. I'm pleasantly surprised with this price movement, I didn't expect this and probably if price continue to rise steady we can see 1500 dollars very soon, looks like that is just a matter of time now.

Hitting 3000 USD would require a daily increase of about 0.4% for the remainder of the year. Seems very possible to me!

The price can not constantly go up and during this year there will still be small reductions that will not allow such growth.

I believe in it and i think that the price of bitcoins would reach upto 3000$ by the end of this year and many people are going to make a lot of profit and from that time i am thinking to sell all my bitcoins right then as it will be the highest price of bitcoins.
We can not measure the potential for bitcoin for now, sometimes it looks impossible, but sometimes it also looks so easy. Well, the most important thing is to prepare a strategy to welcome the price of $ 3000, because definitely the bitcoin price will be high, whether it is within 1 month, or 1 year.
