I agree with you. because of it's volatile nature BTC can't be a means of Payment. However , BTC can be a store of value. There are other crypto that can serve as means of payment e.g. Litecoin(LTC)
It is not a point to say Bitcoin can not be a global currency,it is the world expensive currency and it is regarded as virtual gold.it is true it can't be use in day today life but investment purpose it is quite good.but as many payment project have been launched to make crypto spendable so it efficiently use the demerit of btc i.e slow transaction and make it fast,that way btc will be used globally.
It will never be the main global currency as all the countries must accept it.
btc maybe can't global currency in the real life but it is the currency on the internet,now internet is very importance,we need new the way on the inrternet,with blockchain have many app for internet,it is the future of the world
For me I think its possible because this is not the main currency and it can be used as an alternate currency when doing transactions worldwide.

For bitcoins to become global it will take time and also that all the countries uses it.
Isn't it already a global currency? All blockchain people accepts Bitcoin and that is enough for now i think. I know we need more government to accept cryptocurrencies but we should wait and see what tommorrow brings.
There are many countries who doesn’t accept bitcoin and therefore it can’t be global.
But the fact is we don't need anyone's approval other than the receiver who is trading with us.Currently bitcoin can be used anywhere in the world the only requirement is the internet connectivity,the only problem with the banned countries is that we can't convert our crypto into fiat. 
Yes it cannot be. There are some reasons to say it cannot be. Some people might say that yes it can be a global currency but they are not considering those countries who've banned the bitcoin without knowing that it can change their countries and make it more economic. One of the main reason is that not all people in the world know bitcoin as of today only some countries know about bitcoin.

It still will. Those who banned crypto in their country will catch up once they realize that bitcoin is dominating the financing institutions in many parts of the world. It's just like any other tech that should be used by many people first until other follow next.
In fact bitcoin is already a global currency because the bitcoin users are present throughout the world. we see bitcoin users throughout the world. I can't believe that bitcoin never be global currency. Obviously bitcoin will be global currency in future. Because people now using Bitcoin at large amount.
Whether or not bitcoin can be a global currency is still no common ground in that direction. As a commodity, bitcoin has not been used as a legitimate currency, just like rupiah, although there are some vendors that accept transactions using bitcoin, both domestically and abroad.
