I agree with you on. Bitcoin will be more and more popular in the world, but not all countries will accept Btc and other crypto types. The more we realize the possibilities that Btc and blockchain technology carry. If the rules for this kind of technology are well organized, I believe prices will rise even higher.
Even if bitcoin cannot be a global currency by overtaking the whole fiat currency, it can certainly remain as a great medium of exchange for a wide variety of things all over the world in future.

In fact bitcoin is already a global currency because the bitcoin users are present throughout the world. we see bitcoin users throughout the world. I think the humanity is not ready yet to Bitcoin as global currency. More than that a lot of people in our world still don't know what is it
One huge step step to start becoming as global currency for Bitcoing is acceptance be people and mostly by Governments i think.
This is difficult to perform and I am sure that it will take a lot of years, but for me there is no doubt that it is possible. But is this necessary?
It will. NASA then Amazon are now entering blockchain. Those are huge names and they have a lot of money. It would be stupid for someone to not accept that bitcoin will dominate all the currencies.
Even with all these big institutions entering the blockchain industry, I do not see how that would make bitcoin to become the only single currency used worldwide. Firstly, most of the points mentioned by the OP obviously show how monopoly is already present in the system and of course, even without that, I do not expect any country to even get rid of fiat in the first place for bitcoin.Nevertheless, I know there is still a huge way for bitcoin to go but I wonder how things would pan out before then will be deciding how effectively bitcoin may become a global currency. Unlike gold or USD, bitcoin will become a everybody's global currency. I mean we may directly use bitcoins for international transactions and local transactions as well.
