I guesss so, it will take time for world to accept bitcoin and when that time comes then we could say that it is now a global currency. We should wait till government in every country accept this cryptocurrencies for more active transaction because today, they know bitcoin as a threat and could have bad effect in their economy. That is why we are here the person who knows bitcoin well and we must spread what the cyptocoins are all about.

Although in current time bitcoin users are not as many, but i think still its users are present everywhere in the world. I can about about backward countries still people are using bitcoin for investment or trading purposes. We can hope that in future the bitcoin users will continue increasing and we will become able to use bitcoin for everything we want. Bitcoin users will then available everywhere in the world.

When the value of its currency is stable, its payment nature will be highlighted.

BTC cannot be the world's currency! It is against the vested interests of the whole world, and it must be eliminated.

Bitcoin doesn't need to be a global currency cause whether we accept it or not. Bitcoin is only useable in the cyber world beyond that it's useless in offline transaction but it's there for us as an alternative payment processor for those who wants freedom in their money without any third party tracking it with much less fee and faster transaction and good security that you can send money around the globe in just minutes.

I know it is your opinion, but ripple to me is a centralized currency and there is nothing different from it to the normal fiat system, maybe you should read more about it.

We all expect bitcoin as a global currency for border-less transactions. It may happen but definitely not in quick time as there are lots of places where people still not having access to internet. So, probably the first step toward bitcoin as a global currency must be reaching out of internet to every part of this world. After that only we can see bitcoin will be evolving as a global currency.

I want to imagine that you are assuming bitcoin to be the only currency being used globally. This is going to end up being an asset and while some would buy the idea of using it as a currency which would actually make it worthwhile when you are going anywhere in the world without having to exchange fiat to fiat and only have your bitcoin in your possession, I do not see how it is going to end up being used fully.

Scenarios may change though, as we may get to see mainstream adoption, but I guess we may have to get to that stage first before knowing where we are headed.

Bitcoin is decentralized money bro until it makes the bitcon as a legal money. You will find the bitcoin price to reach more than 50k USD in 2020. That time you will see the bitcoin has been adopted by the many countries dude.
So that you itself bitcoin is global currency. If you get into the Japan airport, even now itself you can access the bitcoin ATMs at there and can legally used.

Bitcoin is just going to be a currency accepted globally by some part of the global population and even though it makes transaction easy for a lot of people, the governments cannot accept it to be the official currency and would rather regulate it to benefit from it. It is an idea that is already flying all over the world as it makes payment easy worldwide without border effect, and that would make it accessible by those who have access to it, and nothing else asides this.
