I dumped mine when they were at $800 each one in aug 2nd. I think that was a fair price, they were at 0.18 - 0.20 each one.
I think i did a good move, i dont recommend holding it, since it is more a speculation coin and it is soo useless, it doesnt have any feature that could make the price go up.
Those who wanna sell, wait until it reaches $750 each coin and dump them and use that money for buying altcoins, that is a good investment

I don't think it's a good move, I think it's a perfect move.

BCC will have its value in the future for sure if managed correctly, but the fact that you choose a good time to dump it during the heavy pumping shows smartness.

Quick poll just to check what's the forum members sentiment towards Bitcoin Cash and how will it impact the BTC price (therefore - yes, it's bitcoin related).

Changing votes allowed.
Im doing short trades on bitcoin cash as of now on which i can able to make money out of those movements and i can say that i really love to go with the waves of it. Not to be serious on which one i would choose between bitcoin as long i can able to make money with it then i still can consider that thing the same on bitcoin which i do always consider as the original one.
Yes, nothing can replace bitcoins and it is really ridiculous to leave bitcoins for any other coin. As far as the bitcoin cash is concerned, for short term trading and even for day trading, it is a nice choice. Bitcoin cash is showing continuous fluctuations, leaving many people with loss and profit.

I sold mine at $800 over the weekend. I mean it has to crash soon right? Coins created out of thin air and already 2nd most valuable crypto. I can't believe this is sustainable in the short term.

While I am not a big fan of BCC, there are powerful forces behind it.

The hash rate of BCC reached ~20% at one point last week (not sure about this week) which means that big mining pools are supporting it most likely Chinese pools, and also the recent crazy purchases on Bithumb using Korean Won. A powerful group is in the making. Don't expect BCC to disappear soon.

I wasn't paying attention to the hashrate distribution between BTC and BCH, but I did notice that the BTC hashrate dropped in half from its recent peak. That's a pretty massive drop; larger than anything I can find in the recent charts. So it's clear that BCH had some effect on miners. Long term, it's tough to say what will happen. We really can't predict future demand for BCH. I agree, there are powerful forces behind it, so in my mind, it's worth holding for a while to see where this goes.

The pump lasted from Thursday last week till early this week, with most of the buyers using Korean Won for the purchase. Rumours says that there is going to be an governmental level uptake on BCC. And Antpool go crazy mining it last weekend (it was Antpool iirc).

Things are just starting. I dumped all mine during last weekend's crazy rally. Now I think if I should buy back some after the pump subsides.

It still looks like a bull flag. Volatility on BCH/BTC has gotten extremely low. I'm not sure which way it will break in the short term. I will buy if we break and hold above the 4H trading range (0.1535 on Bitfinex).

I have major doubts that there would be any "governmental level" adoption of BCH. But given that Bitmain is backing it (and that Antpool is implementing auto-switching between BTC and BCH based on profitability), I think this coin will be around for a while. Indeed, things are just starting.

As i mentioned it on the other similar topic. I don't see bitcoin cash getting anywhere near btc anytime soon or maybe never. So there is no reason to hold bitcoin cash at the moment.

Bcc developers struggling to make it popular and have place of hearted cryptocurrency investors. This time may not be the right time for dump action, just follow the market direction and gain profit. I started to think again to do hold bcc i have.

BCC for me is less interesting to keep, although maybe i will have small profit from trading it. Because in my opinion, BCC is just debris from BTC fractions. I've sold it some time ago, and divert all to a better altcoin in my opinion.
We don't know if it will be worth like $1000 in the future but i like to hold mine since BCC is only free so i have nothing to worry about that coins or the money that i will get if i sell it now.

The bitcoincash people are aiming for a price of at least $2000. Whether this affects bitcoin is a separate question - it might be that so much new money has come into the cryptocurrency space that it can sustain both coins at a high price.
So do you mean it is worth to hold more than a year? but now it is too hard to speculate that it will be more than $2000 and its possible in cryptocurrency.

If you believe in the project, hold, if you don't, sell. But the people behind bitcoincash are determined to make their coin a success. I guess we'll find out in a few months whether people are using it, and what adoption they are gaining. The value will come from that. If no-one uses it, it will crash.

The price spikes that we get lately are just plain pumps and dumps or does it indicate that bitcoin cash is not going to die out that easily? I've heard also that it is more efficient to mine than bitcoin, so with a lot of news like this in many places, maybe not big mining pools, but individual miners will most likely switch to it, therefore it doesn't look like it is going to die that soon. Everyday they prove all the haters that were advising to dump it as fast as possible, but they seem to slowly get their value and raise in price. I don't know what to think about it. Will it really be the future? Or pumpers enjoy easy profits but don't care about the coin itself?

That is another good approach to something freely given. Others are counting the money at the instant they got it. Right now there is a significant increase in value for Bitcoin Cash. Around 70% so I guess this coin can really put up a good fight in the market.
As long as i didn't need the money i will not going to sell in hurry. And still this Bitcoin csash is too hard to predict we don't know how it will be going for the next months or years i will jist keep watching on it and if i saw a big factor that may  boost its price i will invest in the market.

I think when compared to holding the BCH, better sell them for BTC because right now the price of Bitcoin is increasing so the value of Bitcoins will increase. I am doing same because I have increased my BTC value when converted from BCH to Bitcoins.
Yes, I think it is a wise thing to do. Perhaps bitcoin cash will remain popular and strong for some more time but it won't be so for long. If bcc was strongly supported, it would've surpassed bitcoin already. It didn't. Bitcoin wasn't even weakened by it's release, the price only increases. I think now is a great time to dump bitcoin cash, because later it may dump you. Why not to invest in the always going up btc?

But what concerns me the most is the fact that after these weeks it's still out there doing not that bad. I'm mean, it has been dumped by probably everyone including even the developers and yet it's still not dead on the exchanges, despite being dead for the miners as any transaction takes even 2 days. That means that somehow it's not that worthless and may even start going up after they sort out all their problems. Because if this was just a scam to get free money, it would have already died and drop to few cents, but it doesn't. I think it will remain a big player in the future, but of course will not top bitcoin.
