That's a real break down done for a day. Yes one of the thing which make it possible is that is very volatile . So in a day we could see 200 - 300$ jump easily. But for this we would require some good news like some country accepting it or licensing etc which could boost the price for this last quarter of the year.

CNN was one of the news outlets claiming that the sky was falling and the bubble was going to burst!

No matter if it is true or not, if this news reaches most of the people, it for sure can be a good thing for bitcoin, because, if a fake bad news can affect the market, then a fake good news can also do that. When people hear some bad news about bitcoin (mostly new people), they panic and start selling their coins immediately which affects the market too much if the people are too many, so if they hear a good news, they might start buying in bulks, and that for sure will have a positive affect on market as well.

Obviously. If there wasn't anything like that, maybe we have already been around that mark, but just because of all FUD, we had to see a drop in the price again, and all those panic selling by people was a boost for the situation to make it even worse.

Source? If this something or sort of a hint that there's a whale that will make this happen then it will be one of another great Christmas and end of the year. Just like last year the price went close to $1,000 and by January it was able to make at $1,000. And we are now 400% increase on this time and if price will be heading $6,000 I'm already contented on seeing it there as it's new floor price.

Manipulators are trying to fool people and giving them reasons to sell their bitcoins that could cause bitcoin to crash. Now manipulators will take advantage of that to get handful of bitcoins.

I think we have seen enough FUDs. We are going to moon before the year ends. $6000 bitcoin price still achievable. We should be at that price if FUDs is not created by the manipulators. Even if they spread FUDs again, i don't think many people will buy their FUDs. I think people are aware enough for not believe on their bullshits. Im having a feeling that bitcoin will go up again. China is now allows exchnages there to operate. I have not feel the effects yet.

That just doesn't make sense you know, even without FUD we'll be able to take advantage of the dip by simply waiting the natural pump and dump created by the market, FUDs is bad for the ecosystem and will make unstable situation for bitcoin community, therefore FUDster should gone from this cryptoworld. and if you are talking about "people can't afford btc in the future" you're really wrong, the flexibility amount of bitcoin make it affordable for everyone with every amount of money.

If you don't feel the effect then just observe the daily situations as you won't notice price will be changing fast which you cannot even control in one blink of your eyes. FUDs or whatsoever manipulating it isn't the hindrance of bitcoin to aim for better price in the market, and with previous price changes fluctuations really is unpredictable in every situations.

It could be heading this year has still not ended and many good news and bad news have occured after Sept 1. The bad ones are mostly for btc. There is a good pump going on daily but everything gets dumped in night.
If china decides to give regulations to exchanges and allow most of the big exchanges to function again $6k will occur by end of this year or it might close at $5-5.5k end of this year.

That means we should hold as all indications is tend towards upward momentum. $6,000 may be achieved before end of this months. We have witnessed alot of FUDs this year but bitcoin remain strong as in February this year we went below $800 and as at today we are above $4000. Like you said Sidharthmalhotra, The fuds create alot of damage for nothing but most of them make bitcoin become popular.

I would say that there's a huge possibility for Bitcoin to rach the 6000$ mark before this year end especially if the hardfork that will happen in the month of November will br successful. Knowing that the previous hardfork made Bitcoin's value to go skyrocket from 2500 up to 4400 in just a month. And if the next fork will be also successful, same thing will happen to Bitcoin's market value.

it is possible to heading to $6k by year-end but we are now in down trend situations and we have 3 month from the year-end. if the price is not increase to $45xx and we are stuck in that price and not reaching $5k in just 2 month, then we can not see $6k in this year and maybe in next year. it is hard to see the price is increase so high after many bad news is release by some media and makes people panic. i think we need than more good news to lifted the price so we can break the barrier soon.

Reaching 6000 USD this year might be difficult for Bitcoin since there is a possible hardfork this November. There is a possible dump these coming days so if there will be a bull run before the possible fork, it will be impeded and might take a while to have a bull run again. So the 6000 dollar mark might be reached on the first months of 2018.

i think it may be possible after all!

we have some big FUD coming on and a lot of drama which can be like the past one and cause some downtime but since all of it will end before the year ends and when it ends the price recovers fast, you can expect a big rally afterwards leading to break the $5000 at first and then go above to test the $6000 resistance.

I guess it if good that CNN would give out news like that but it is not just them is anticipating some pumps and price increase on bitcoin. Right now the current bignews is another Hardfork and previous made some big impact on the price earlier. And a lot of countries are now making amends on how bitcoin could positively help their economy.

Of course, had there been no hard fork in August, the bans coming from China and the continuing press statement assaults by people who are considered to be anti-Bitcoin our beloved currency could have been hovering in the vicinity of $6,000 level right now. But then again, those challenges are the things that can make Bitcoin get so strong. As they say, what does not kill you can make you stronger and more resilient in life and the same thing is true with Bitcoin.

There would be more challenges and problem next year but am expecting that the magnitudes would be different and Bitcoin would just be smiling as it would continue its expected rise in value amid the FUD spread by people in the government and established financial institutions (though many of them would also give Bitcoin a good chance to prove itself).

If we have not got stuck in multiple FUDs, maybe btc price is sitting at the predicted price right now but if not it will be significantly a better price than what it has now. Somehow, $6000 is a realistic target by the end of this year. Btc can reach it if there won't be FUDs specially those worst ones, trying to stop bitcoin's growth again in the next coming months. I hope there won't be one.
