today i see bitcoin price is crash and reach $72xx and we don't know how long this situations will be like this, maybe until the fork is coming the price is down. soon after the fork, we can hope that the price is back to increase and reach the higher price again. i hope that the fork is not makes people getting panic like before so the price is not going down too far because once its down too far, the price is difficult to get increase and need more time to reach the higher price again.

Bitcoin bull run is nearing its end, the steam is running out. Altcoins will rally after the fallout is all said and done.

BTC price at post $7,288

Are you sure?

Now the price is at $7.600 and the market cap of bitcoin is almost 130 B dollars!

Total market cap is only 200 B dollars and this is likely to happen 1 Trillion dollars in the future. If this happens, BTC will be around $40k-50k easily.

Don't forget that a lot of people will probably get burned and leave crypto around the fork.
Some people whom not beleive in crypto will Leave. But new investor will come and the market will green again.

Bitcoin survive and it will follow on growing. Bitcoin futures are a solid and very unambiguous evidence that this King of cryptocurrency market conquers traditional investors. Do not forget also about the coming SegWit2x on Novenber, 15. It will make changes in BTC price either. I suppose it will grow. Alts either.
There are many professionals who has predicted about the bitcoin price for the future and bitcoin price is exactly on the same path as they has predicted. So, it will grow for the next few years at least. The recent boom in the bitcoin price will remain till the segwit2X. We will see a little dips but those will be recover soon in a day or so. At the same time it's a good time for day trading. The price falls but recovers in a short time.
The price raise we see is just the potential of what bitcoin has got. This is even a good time for the alts to grow in line with the bitcoin.

I am not sure why many seem confident that the price will reach 10K by end of year. Anycase the raise seem to have stretched to a time. I think given many are holding waiting for it to raise it will keep raising. Otherwise a correction should happen anytime soon.

I agree, the "good" alts are way under valued at the moment

Yes, thats true. But its like in basically every market you look at - time will come and capital will diversify. Its not like this is currencies competing against other currencies - its a very heterogeneous market with a lot of companies doing a lot of different things!

I see it completely different way. Why would that affect the bitcoin market at all. I know that its all temporary that whenever bitcoin is going to boom then alt coins will be sold and bitcoin will be bought leading to differential rates in the both worlds of crypto currencies.

Agreed that its a heterogenous market and everything depends on how stuff works within an entity thats operating the specific coins. They are all down just because of fork situation this time! But for the other period things are different and each coin behaves independent of others and only dependent of entity progress.

I don't think we are close to the end of this trend and it may take to the end of the year before we can see serious drop in price and market capitalization. Bitcoin holders are not not ready to sell of they coin for any altcoins currently and the altcoins seen to just been flipping coins and most also go back to bitcoin. Corrections is under way and I don't think is going to be serious one as there is no reason for such.

The Bitcoin Gold altcoin dividend has been paid or will be shortly. The SegWit2X fork is probably to fail, but might or might not be contentious.

What is the news which will drive BTC higher and making alts an unattractive diversification? Is it this:

news is coming after b2x fork there is another  fork in december named with bitcoin silver what u think obout it?

The BTC mcap is now $128B, while most alts other than ETH and BCH (XRP is always ignored by me) are only a few $billion or less.

To those who doubt it'll crash: It's literally just a matter of someone making a huge sell. If it declines a little too fast everyone will start selling. At this point it's not even about bitcoin being a bubble or not, it's that it's growth is unsustainable and only a few wealth investors need to notice that, panic sells will happen and the price will drop dramatically.

I'm still holding my bitcoins and I do believe it will hit the $8k mark after the fork. I was thinking to turn them into Alts such as ETH or XMR, but changed my mind as I'm lazy to do some trading. Also, haven't you noticed that after a bullish run, the price became consistent w/ a little bit of slide down fall then after the fork it will continue to rise up and will hit that mark, just believe.  Grin

Not yet, there are so many speculation around but how many of us talk about bitcoin crash since it going to 3000$?
but that is not impossible it going to down if market psychology react opposite then the first fork and the rumor about china unban bitcoin was just rumor.
In my opinion we will see what happen next in this December.

I just think that up until now the bitcoin value is very strong with the pump that I keep on supplying it is a proof that bitcoin actually will continue to exist even though the third hard fork will happen and if it really happens it is a morning advantage of altcoin holders where usually the price of altcoin movement will increase. but I think to pass the bitcoin price is not easy with based on the current price alone is very high so although it will be a decline on the bitcoin value it is still very far to get past the bitcoin price if indeed the third fork in this november is only temporary and in the end bitcoin will again show its existence as a virtual currency of the most demanded by investors to date. I say that I think it is based on the experience on the previous hard fork where the bitcoin experienced a very signi fi cant decline but it did not last long and finally bitcoin again showed its existence with a very pantastic haga rise and that is of course very profitable for bitcoin users because at the time of the increase it means bitcoin holders will be able to sell at a fairly high price.

I dont really understand what is happening with this increase in price.
I just know they are turning their alts to bitcoin that is why this is happening. When the time comes that it is harder to buy bitcoin then it is really needed that the price should go down.
I have alts and I dont want it to lose its value so if ever I want it to go with the flow of bitcoin.
