I knew this since I saw their thread and I totally told my social media's friends to avoid it.
However, few of them still involved in because of greedy.

I will probably join the group of those guys who think that Bitcoin Diamond is a scam. Naturally, everything looks very suspicious. The holders of new alt got nothing but futures at some exchanges. Bitcoin holders, beware of the greatest possibility of scam!

It seems that forks are now like 10 cent a piece. Most of the times new variants have no technical innovation nor solve any real problem, so just tries to moneygrab based on the powerful branding of BTC.

Hope it is not a scam. Bitcoin Diamond is created to make all transactions much faster and safer. Transactions in the BTC network are open to the public - everyone can see what amount is in the wallet of another person and track his transactions. Some persons dislike it however.

Those who do not like it can use other coins, for example, DASH. I like the idea of this coin. But the developers could not do so that many people were interested in this coin.

Recently, I read a topic in this forum as in January 2014, the question of whether ethereum was a fraud was discussed. Many agreed that at that time the new coin, which had separated from bitcoin, was fraud. Now no one doubts that ethereum is quite a promising coin, which now as a workhorse performs many of its useful functions.
Now, I see, the situation with the bitcoin that has recently separated from Bitcoin, bitcoin gold and bitcoquine diamond, is about the same. Why, in fact, resent? If these coins prove to be useless, much less fraudulent, they will just wither away and leave the market.

Caution, the forks that aren't even forks but straight scams to steal your BTC literally, are starting to happen.

They listed support from exchanges when these exchanges said they never got contacted by Bitcoin Diamond people, and more dodgy shit.

I know its tempting to try to quickly go claim your free BTC forks, but just be aware of the ongoing scams.
Duh, did people actually believe in bitcoin diamond? I thought most of the people lost hope in bitcoin forks from the very second bitcoin gold was introduced in the society. Not to mention the Segwit2X fork, it was listed in some exchanges and few people invested in it even before the fork took place, which was later suspended indefinitely. Free money is leading to a lot of problems and issues these days, better not be a fan of it in the first place rather.

Is Bitcoin diamond supposed to offer something new?
I will be very cautious about future forks after Bitcoin Gold advertised a wallet that stole my BTG.

I wanted to try to sell as soon as possible, instead I lose over $1000 worth of BTG. Bitcoin Diamond will probably be no better, they are a playground for scammers.

We weren't even given BCD coins and I can't understand how it's a scam.

It's a free money for me. I won't hold it if my exchange give me my BCD coins. No reason to hold it in my wallet.

This coin has already disappointed many people. The traders and the miners were dissatisfied. The coin will not last long. Most likely soon it will depreciate

Its hard to tell which fork is scam and which is not. Just remember one thing never send your private key to any website which claims they will give you free coins from your wallet and secondly do not send your bitcoins to any untrusted exchange which claim they will send you free fork coins. Maybe they will eat your bitcoins and do not give you option to withdraw the money.

You could always take the extra safety option of sending your btc to another address before you claim your coins, and import the privatekey from your now empty btc address.
So your bitcoins aren't at risk.
