I think that these are obvious things, when domination of Bitcoin in the end is still to be carried away and the cost of BTC will be very high, but now we see how the market is trying to attract new investors at new prices today.
I think there is indeed a time for bitcoin started weakening and this will certainly have a chance a lot of coins to get replaced. I think that in the long run there will not be a single cryptocurrency leader, especially with such a large margin in the level of capitalization that we now see in Bitcoin. Although many people are already diversifying, that doesn't mean that bitcoin will stop being the leader because, for every person who has 1 altcoin, they usually keep 2 or 3 bitcoins, so it's not fair to call the end of the bitcoin reign, if it's still an excellent coin, with a lot to give.

I am not sure where you see that as right now the BTC dominance is back to 52.4% and Ethereum has fallen back from a peak of 30% to 10%.
Clearly room for recovery of ETH but I do not see Ethereum or anyone else really challenging Bitcoin for the top spot.
Hopefully, Ethereum is also weak atm, we will see another Blockchain and another token that will finish Bitcoin dominance.

Bitcoin has a huge capitalization and its dominance in the market is more than 50%, so I do not think that any of the coins can achieve the same results and indicators.
I think BTC dominance will grow up to 70% when the new bull run will begin in 2019 because all new investors money will flow into BTC and many people will sell their altcoins for BTC to get on the leaving train names "BTC to the moon".

Not the end, bitcoin is not having a dominance problem, right now the dominance of bitcoin over all of the other coins is still very strong and they all still rely on the coin to get their prices and value. Even lower the dominance of bitcoin is very high and that is not changing any time soon. Ethereum can't even hold itself up, talk less of holding up the entire market, please don't make me laugh
