There is relation with bitcoin and altcoin, all altcoins price is related with bitcoin price, when bitcoin price go down the same time all altcoins price will go down wise versa also, most of the altcoins pair with bitcoin and bitcoin is the king of altcoin, bitcoin is the only cyrpto coin accept in online transaction with dollar,so crypto currency market is link with bitcoin price,the bitcoin is worlds first digital currency and only more peoples knows about bitcoin not about crypto currency.
Since most of the altcoins in the market are converted by Bitcoin or Ethereum, when investors enter the market to buy coins, they will first purchase BTC or ETH, NEO, EOS, etc. to convert other altcoins! This kind of ties are affecting the overall changes in the market!

I believe that the price of the altcoin really depend on the bitcoin price. The bitcoin is the price basis of all coin on crypto feild if bitcoin falls down the altcoin price is also falling down. So then I believe that the altcoin depend on the bitcoin market. If bitcoin failed the altcoin will also failed. 
I think it's not so fair because I observed that every bit of Bitcoin rises so altcoin will not go up otherwise Bitcoin corrects a little almost all altcoin will experience a profound decline so that the price difference with Bitcoin will be left behind, then how altcoin's fate can still compete in the share market if the price is always like that?

Yes. It is true that bitcoin and altcoin are down. In my research I found bitcoin price is the factor behind the reduction of the prices of other coins. This shows that bitcoin in cryptocurrency is a determinant for other coins .that's if the price goes up today it will positively affect the price of altcoin.

I wouldn't worry long term at all and probably short term either. If BTC price doesn't fall (my personal opinion, but I think it will not) then alts will go up within a few days maximum. We are starting to see it now already. Don't you worry, it's not worth it!

No there isn't any relationship between the two as the bitcoin prices fall first then the Altcoin prices fall and not the other way around. This also happen because the investors loose confidence in the Altcoin market after the fall of bitcoin and also some sell their coins to purchase bitcoin because of the sale going on in the dump phase of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the parent of the cryptocurrency world and altcoin is a good counterweight in the world of cryptocurrency I think both are the same affect each other, so when bitcoin down then altcoin will also come down. The current crypto market is not good and bring bad impact to bitcoin and altcoin.
actually both are unrelated but most altcoin always see bitcoin if going up or down, in contrast to bitcoin that can go down or ride anytime he wants because he is king in crypto (that's just my thinking)
