I think there is possibility bitcoin down and altcoin rise because in bitcoin as long as they operated for a long time many investors luck of trust due to the system can not be understand while in altcoin is very new launched which is the groups will unite and I beleived if it will be in good handling it will rise someday.

Most altcoins are paired with Bitcoin, so people generally buy Bitcoin first then use that to buy alts, meaning first a rise in demand for Bitcoin, with the price reflecting that, before the demand switches to alts, causing their price to increase and Bitcoin’s to fall. but when the bitcoin correction, there is still altcoin that has increased and rises significantly.

I think it's normal situation. Bitcoin is changing it's value time by time and we can't predict when it will get high. As I follow and invest small amount in bitcoin I notice that in the end of the month in a year, the value was fastly getting high and in the starting month in a year it will slowly donw.
It can depends, look todays cryptocurrency market, the Bitcoin price is rising but altcoins can't do the same.. I think everyone start to understand the Bitcoin's dominance, so the price goes higher than the other coins and it keep leading the market.
does altcoin rise now? no . both bitcoin and altcoins down. altcoins rise only when bitcoin goes sideways . that's what we saw in the crypto market in recent past. thats how market works now.

I have not seen such a situation. On the contrary, only the bitcoin is steadily rising in the current market, and most of the altcoins are falling!
Actually altcoins rise when Bitcoin is stable. When Bitcoin hardly rise or fall altcoins always fall. The are very correlated with Bitcoin. So if you want to earn on altcoins wait for Bitcoin stabilizing. But I think you have to wait for the middle of 2019.
