In past 24 hours. The prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum has now fallen by more than 3% in U.S. Dollar.
 1. Bitcoin price drop in daily peak, this dominant cryptocurrency is actually down six percent. BTC at its low in daily volume in steep sell off or 5% to 10% thus tends to see an increase in daily volume.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

What happen to tokens if ETH drops 35% more?

Quite near the oversold level and consolidating. Forming support in the current level or some down further. Needs to find a good support level then to have a good rally. The time is near.

Most of the altcoins these days are in shaky situation and it will be hard for them to stand still until both bitcoin and ethereum reach it's bottom. The best thing to do during thisntime is not to panoc but rather have more patience and cotinue buying while the prices are dropping down.
cryptocurrency market in hard condition at this moment, every day market capitalization decrease alot.and now only left around 100billions.and it very bad for all crypto price.

The price of most cryptocurrencies have been dropping on a daily basis, if this trend continuous then the day is not far away when the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum would get what it was in two years ago.
Might think for any investment diversion if these continue to fall but if not, then I will be in crypto once more.
A lot of people still in a way of spreading crypto(including me) and we could continue this thing as we positively think for other great things happen in the future. The crisis is already a part of crypto journey, we should never give a big deal on these.

The price of ETH will continue to dwindle with the poor performance of ICOs at the moment and with ICO project teams dumping insane amounts of ETH on the exchange, not forgetting the scam projects as well. If ETH is going to experience any price gains, I think at this point it's only going to be drive by Bitcoin and the road to recovery will be long and rough

Most probably you are right. The only thing that could help buck the trend is ETH 2.0 but who knows when that will actually come to fruition. ETH like most alt-coins now is just dependent on bitcoin for a recovery. Once BTC starts to trend upwards people will also regain confidence in alts.

All existing coins depend heavily on what happens to Bitcoin. The price of Etherum is also greatly influenced by the price movements of Bitcoin and that cannot be avoided. The influence of Bitcoin is very large in the crypto world, for all of us who hope that there will be a price increase on Etherum then we must also support the growth of the use of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the beginning of the crypto world, let's use Bitcoin and the price of Etherum will increase automatically.

I don't agree that coins prices will just increase indefinitely if BTC's price is doing so because it is being adopted. They'll still have to have something to offer. Right now ETH has that but if it is replaced by another coin as the leader for smart contracts, dapps and ICOs then its price is unlikely to ever recover.

I think it will kill the weak alts, many alts use the ERC20 platform as first option, and use BTC as second option pair, i hope the alts will survive with their company program.
If you ask about the bottom near or far, i would like to answer maybe it will be the bottom, just remember the BTC cycle that happened twice in last eight year.

When the ETH drops by 35%, our market will lose more than $ 5 billion and the weaker altcoins will die out. I believe our market will filter a lot of garbage altcoins if the price of ETH drops by 35%.

As far as the tokens are concerned, the owners of it should have an independent market and not just relying with bitcoin or ethereum price.

Well, I did see ERC20 tokens which aint moving much and not being dragged by the fall. I guess it is also a good thing.

Here we are to another drop. No one can tell what the bottom really is. We will just have to go with the flow of the unstable market. Which is good for traders though.

It seems that everytime that the yearly low is broken, it falls less and less and usually is followed by a huge bounce.

I am thinking that with all the bullish divergences and oversold condition we might have a temporarily bottom for now. It doesn't look like there is too many sellers at these areas.

Last night someone on Bitmex was doing massive shorting trying to break the daily low and when it broke there was no follow-thru and tried to break the following low a few times and failed followed by a rally. This is looking like seller exhaustion and I took a small low leveraged long here.

Dumping price of the bitcoin and ethereum is normal nowadays. For sure price of the tokens will be down once ethereum dump more. That is I think base of what I see because they are base to ethereum price. But they have big part also bitcoin because ethereum they are base also to the bitcoin.

the decrease in btc and eth caused the price to drop dramatically again, but be patient if it could be one moment to continue to be used as one of the best ways to buy and hold until the price of the pump

This is happening every day in this market and we have no way of stopping this because we are not whales and people are feeling depressed about the current situation. I think the discount will last until the end of this year and in 2019 everything will return to the uptrend
you're right, even this happens every day. well, in the CMC application it has shown that bitcoin has dropped 12% in 1 week, so is ETH. well, this is a bad decline, and there are no signs for prices to rise again.
I think if it would be very difficult for the market to recover because too much panic in the market it also caused many investors to delay themselves because seeing the market situation continued to decline, crypto really needed a lot of fresh money to enter.

Poor performance of icos is cause of lack of the investors, people in crypto hold to many well known coins. Many icos will fail over time, just handful of them will survive and become more popular, lets be real world is still struggling to accept bitcoin, litecoin, monero, and other top coins, so many icos doesnt help in that, but some of them will survive. In long term both ethereum and bitcoin will rise in price, this is just a drop that was pretty much expected, it happened before and now its time for everyone to show faith and stay or to sell and leave.

Well the large issue is in what you said. So few of these coins that are on the erc20 platform actually have any use case, so ETH just pumps when ICOs are doing well but then there's no continued demand for them and thus for ETH.

The only thing that could help buck the trend is ETH 2.0 but who knows when that will actually come to fruition.
Not sure how much demand there is left for Ethereum with how authorities are cracking down on ICO's, and also, there are many more alternatives to choose from nowadays, and they are ready to adopt way more users and growth right now. It will take a looong time for Ethereum to be on par with other utility platforms based on the dev's trackrecord for delaying upgrades.

That I don't disagree on, yet ETH still remains the no 1 choice for ICOs. I think it's largely just about brand/reputation, people know they can rely on ETH and it's the one that's always mentioned.

Once BTC starts to trend upwards people will also regain confidence in alts.
People don't regain their confidence in altcoins, they just know that altcoins go up faster and well more than Bitcoin in terms of cold hard percentages.

There has to be some confidence for that to happen, I'm sure a lot of people buy just because they know the price will increase more than others, but that has to be piggybacking off people who do really feel like there's potential for those coins beyond a price increase.
