Bitcoin and Ethereum seems have big drop this year 2018. Both of them are now fully drop and the price of bitcoin might drop to $2500 and ethereum might drop to $50 and it is really bad. The dropping is still happening right now I hope it will stop now.

If it dropped to that low then perhaps there will be a bull run. Whales would see that as a perfect time to hoard coins and the price may quickly drive upwards. But i don't think it's going to go there. Too low.

Let the price decrease come in more so that we can see how far this bottom will go. It's good to see the real bottom rather to live on hype. Yes we all want to have a price increase soon but don't want to see again the 2017 hype although lots of us no doubt take advantage of it.

For those people who want to accumulate more, they are torn between a) buying at the current price rate or b) will wait for more price dips.

That's the decision we/they need to evaluate properly based on our own analysis.

If ethereum falles 35% or 100% more there are still some people who buy it because they trust in Ethereum future , so As long as there are demands for the Ethereum market , It won't die , And I don't think ethereum whales would like to see its death because they are whales!
We are in a bear market, so everyone is affected including Ethereum. I'm sure Ethereum whales are very happy buying tons of it because the price is very cheap and if ever if the price goes down to $50-$25 casual investors will see that as a perfect time to buy and became a bagholder themselves. Definitely there will be demands, remember that every token project is based on Ethereum's ERC-20 technology, so definitely there's no shortage of demand, its that buyers are being outnumbered by sellers.

The problem with ETH is that a lot of the demand is cyclical. Most of it comes from ICOs rather than transaction fees, dapps etc. These ICOs raise huge amounts of ETH but then at some point they need to sell it. When the ETH price looks precarious you'll see them all start dumping so they can fund development and it leads to a downward spiral. The same is true for BTC but not quite to the same extent.

The price of ETH will continue to dwindle with the poor performance of ICOs at the moment and with ICO project teams dumping insane amounts of ETH on the exchange, not forgetting the scam projects as well. If ETH is going to experience any price gains, I think at this point it's only going to be drive by Bitcoin and the road to recovery will be long and rough

if bitcoin and ethereum drops, almost all tokens will be forcibly knocked down and this will give the market a red color. the decline in crypto prices continues to occur and currently has a price of $ 3200 and it will take quite a long time to recover prices to reach the next best price

If the ethereum drops the value for sure tokens too. Because we know most of the tokens are base on the ethereum price. So if ethereum value up the tokens will increase again the price too and if we want to up tokens value we need to up first ethereum.

In past 24 hours. The prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum has now fallen by more than 3% in U.S. Dollar.
 1. Bitcoin price drop in daily peak, this dominant cryptocurrency is actually down six percent. BTC at its low in daily volume in steep sell off or 5% to 10% thus tends to see an increase in daily volume.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

What happen to tokens if ETH drops 35% more?

That will cause a lot of upheaval that never happened in the crypto market. The sale will take place quickly. Organizational arrangements will be replaced by others. Our market will be pumping back and many garbage altcoins will have to die because of the strong adjustment again.
Garbage alts are disappearing at a rapid pace. I'm actually enjoying this part of the show.
My leveraged LTC shorts are keeping me profitable in this horrible market.

today both bitcoin and ETH drop 5%, I imagine that many people should be panic and already must have begun to sell with losses

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

I've seen many people trying to guess the answer to this question and no one knows the answer to that question.

many garbage altcoins will have to die

are already dying, just see the price they had in December last year and the price they have now and the fact that there is no good news that shows that in the future will recover

I don't expect for such a low price, but i think the price will grow next year, so the best bet we can do is to get more coins and why not hold as much as we can, or doing trade.  Right now i have a nice amount of altcoins and i will hold and also try to get more bitcoin.

Would drop gradually as well. If ETH would drop 35% then tokens using it's network would also lose a mere 35% of it's value because all of them are traded against ETH, whether it is on DEX or Centralized exchanges, bitcoin is a different case, bitcoin sets the tempo for the whole market so it would remain above ETH in that example.

Forgotten something? Let me remind you that BTC is still 600 times higher than what it used to be, $5 once, remember? I believe BTC is already down more than 1/10th its ATH, so falling 3-5% during a day's session shouldn't bother as this is how those big boys are making money - by shorting it.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

There are few reasons I believe this happened:
- Ethereum went with the flow as the whole crypto space is experiencing a hard plunge.
- Ethereum had its own flaws for which it's seeing such a drop as it was about to happen and this seemed to be the best time to those market players to pull it back down harder.

I don't think so, however 3200 (and if broken down hard), 2900 are most crucial levels under the radar and I believe Bitcoin should never touch 2900 and show some signs of bullishness by breaking 3650 resistance with a strong approach.

They'll all get vanished with their projects as most will shut down due to lack of funds due to price slump.

A 3% change in crypto world is nothing to be noticed at all, that type of changes happens all the time and never really come to anything to begin with. There are 10%+ changes that do not get the attention they would in any other investment. Crypto is more about major changes, unless something major happens none of this really matters. Bitcoin dropped like 70%+ in the past year and almost 50% in the past month so it is not really that important.

I think bitcoin is catching upto the losses other crypto had in the sense that when it was 6.5 thousand it wasn't really that low compared to some others which lost 80%+ so it is dropping to reach those levels but unfortunately when that falls the other crypto currencies fall as well making it impossible to catch for bitcoin.

This is happening every day in this market and we have no way of stopping this because we are not whales and people are feeling depressed about the current situation. I think the discount will last until the end of this year and in 2019 everything will return to the uptrend
you're right, even this happens every day. well, in the CMC application it has shown that bitcoin has dropped 12% in 1 week, so is ETH. well, this is a bad decline, and there are no signs for prices to rise again.

Meh, price of Bitcoin doesn't matter to me. I trade in and out of alt coins with a set strategy to earn 1% to 3% per day, compounding daily.

That way USD value goes up regardless of Bitcoin's price. Plus, when the next bull run hits, I'll have way more BTC to enjoy it with!

Strategy details are in my profile. Smiley

If drop again it will scam ( maybe ), there's risk we should take. We don't have control with market and that's why every day is new challenge to become more rich but I don't see it right now. All coins red and drop in high value and cut loss become familiar to us, not to scare you but this is reality. Sell all your coins and come back again next year, it will safe your asset and time, trust me.
