Lol maybe your 1 input should be for a bitcoin and not a fraction of a bitcent. Get more bitcoins and your problem will be gone. Wayyyy less than a 1% fee. It's not based off of the amount you send so posting the USD price is irrelevant. It's about the size of bytes your transaction is.
i don't think so that bitcoin transaction fee is very large as compare to transaction fee in other places like banks etc and also you should remember that the transaction fee is varying with time so you can keep your eye on the transaction fee whenever it fall down then you can do transaction at that time.

What the hell ?

it's way too much . i pay higher on fees than the amount i'm sending to people
and i work a lot with bitcoin on small amounts..

The best solution i found now is  pay using ETH , then convert it to BTC using changelly. (something like 0.2$ fees) and its automatic.
Shapeshift is also take huge fees and blockchain.info support it to be part of their site. (don't use) .

Although this fee is used to balance the market but I think it is quite high and not really fair with all transaction. This fee limits people to trade or to stop using btc. That affects to cryptocurrency system. We all want to get a discount on transactions

This is one of the bad things when using Bitcoin on many unconfirmed transactions. Bitcoin fees keeps on getting higher and higher if this might continue i think some people here would go for an altcoin for sending money.
Yes! Fees are too high right now!
I dont know how much you were sending, but I just paid more than $10 of fees  Angry to send 0.35 bitcoin
That a small ammount for sending that much money bro.
Yes 0.35 BTC means approximately $2000. To get this amount safely paying $10 fee is fair enough. We have options to reduce the transaction fee, but once it not gets confirmed means, you will lose everything. Before sending any bitcoins to another wallet, i will check how much I am sending and what fee they are taking I am happy to pay that fee. I don't want to put my BTC is a risk to paying a low fee.

Oh my, that is reallyhuge to think for small transaction if so. What is happening again to reach that fee so high? I hope it will not go high more, because i will not send money if so Cheesy, anyway I realize that if I send money to others and the address is came from other site or other wallet exchange then it varies, like I used the coinbase before and I sent money to the address that starts from 3 then the price goes up, but when I send money with the same coinbase user then there is no fee needed.

Use mycelium wallet instead. If i'm not mistaken the last time I made a withdrawal the high-prio fee is only more or less than 50ksats that takes 10mins to have a confirmation. I used normal fee the last time with only 23k sats. But actually the fee wasn't that big for me it just happen that the price is high.

The fees on blockchain's wallet are confusing and sometimes seem erroneously or arbitrarily calculated. For example, I sent two transactions totalling 0.72 BTC last week and the first send was for about 0.4 BTC. I customised the fee at 0.001 to speed up the confirmation (it was an urgent payment). Then I sent the remaining 0.3 something but then the fee was outrageous. Even for 0.0005 it was showing something like $9! omg and it was suggesting I use 40 sats for the expedited option! I just followed the suggestion since it wasn't giving me other options. I logged out and relogged in to check if it might change the fee calculation but it was still the same super high fee for sending 0.3 btc.

I think this will be addressed after the Segwit2x in which is aims is to reduce the processing time of every transactions and that will reduce the fees as well. This problem what due to high traffic in the block chain resulting to higher fees but if this will be addressed that if possible that transactions will become instantly or at least reduced, our service provider will earn big because the transaction flow will become smooth that they could now finish more transactions request which in result is to reduce their service fees.

Paying those fees are really such a pain but we've got no choice. Gone were the days that you can send funds to an exchanger free of charge. I often close my eyes upon sending so that I'm clueless about the charges  Grin

What the hell kind of times are you sending your transactions at?

Why are you not setting your own fees and ignoring what Blockchain recommend completely?

I am paying something along the lines of $1 CDN at the absolute worst and when I want something to be done quickly. There is now way that you should be spending that amount of money on a transaction. But the fault is completely on you if you aren't using platforms to their full potential and making sure you're aware of every feature. Most wallets let you set your own fees and make sure that you're happy with what you're spending - Blockchain.info included.

What a great site is changelly! brings al ot of value.
Yes, the fee is too high. If you make small transactions regularly then the fee is something worth saying. Sometimes, the money you earn is only slightly more than the fee paid. This is also something that people are eager to change and that is needed if we want btc is  widely used otherwise people will probably switch to ETH or some other kind of money.

I heard there is a fork coming in which the devs are trying to reduce the fee and speed the transaction time. Dont know if its really correct or not but if it happens this will really boost bitcoin. I know lot of people who uses altcoins to avoid huge fees at the moment.

^^100% incorrect..

Unfortunately the problem with high fees is one of Bitcoins biggest problems. They are crazy, I tried sending $50 the other day, and I couldn't because the network fees were super high. Bitcoin is now for the elite. For us broke people trying to make some money, its too late.

About 2 days ago mining Bitcoin Cash became more profitable than Bitcoin and miners flocked to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin blocks slowed down and mempool (unconfirmed transactions) started to increase. Check here: https://blockchain.info/es/unconfirmed-transactions
In about 1 hour 20min Bitcoin Cash will become unprofitable again, so everything will come back to normal.

The solution: if you're not in a hurry you can always lower the fees, it'll take more time, yes, but eventually it will go through. Check out the site bitcoinfees.21.co. Could be helpful next time.

If you buy a coffee, you pay the $2 (btc) for the coffee:  $2 + $4 fee = $6, in those hours it would be better to use physical money... bitcoin needs have low fee and have faster confirmations, the days ago I stayed many hours waiting to confirm transaction, it was annoying

The fee's are more favorable to bigger amounts, it's very annoying making smaller transactions.

and this is a problem because in real life there are things that are not expensive and how will the person pay for bitcoin with these high fee?

The transaction fees are raging due to several factors.
One is the size of the block in Bitcoin's blockchain, which is limiting the number of transactions that can go through at any given time.
Bitcoin's network is powered by miners, people and companies who use a tremendous amount of computing power to create new bitcoins.
And when there's too many transactions to process which currently happens very often miners will prioritize transactions that pay a higher fee.

Using Altcoin is a good alternative to lower the transaction cost, yes changelly is a good exhanger,
me I used Poloniex as online wallet, 0.0001btc fee for bitcoin transaction.(I don't know how fast the transaction is, i never monitor it)
