How to spread awareness of Bitcoin in a way so that old people start to use more bitcoin?
I think it will be difficult for old people to learn about bitcoin. Since they are old, it will be impossible for them to learn more about bitcoin easily except if they are really interested. And talking about old people, there is a possibility that only rich people will be interested in bitcoin. Just think about old people in rural places, do you think that they have time to learn bitcoin? Maybe yes but it is just 20% of them. Also, we dont need to spreed the awareness of bitcoin. Because bitcoin spreads by itself.

I think bitcoin for elderly people is not friendly for them in the sense that bitcoin and the crypto is very technical. On top of that, they might be prone to hacker attacks since they might be lacking technical know how on how to protect their wallets all the time which may cause their wallet to be empty.

Its not about the age or how techy you are to learn about these cryptocurrencies. If you really want to learn and earn that much you will do anything to be able to reach that goal.
Determination is the key to everyones success and not based on your age or your field. Self motivate yourself at times when you think you can't make it. Let it be your passion for every action you take you are enjoying it as well.

I think we can teach some basic knowledge to the elderly so that they will not be bitten by Bitcoin anymore. Investing in bitcoin can be handled by specialized agencies and professionals, just like funds.

I think you would be surprised at the number of "Silver surfers" that are already Bitcoin owners. It is just a misconception that only young tech geeks are interested. Don't forget personal computers have been around for over 30 years now so even people in their 60s have a good amount of tech skills  Wink
That is true even old people can be more on technology, they have been using it long before than we do and I think they have the proper knowledge about it just a little outdated but whats important is they can understand and are willing to learn more about our current technologies. just like with bitcoin it has been there for years but nobody has bothered learning about it until they saw its high value in the market. No one is too old for bitcoin.

Absolutely, No excuses in bitcoin now a days. People have already learnd and knowledgable either old man or your child in this new technology because this generation has really promising and upgradable so if don't let yourselve to do in this new thrends you miss a lot of opportunities in this new world.

Bitcoin is not required age it doesnt matter if you are old or young. For me, there's nothing wrong sharing your knowledge about bitcoin and making people aware about it. Because bitcoin is for everyone.

if I think old people will be a little difficult to learn bitcoin, this will require patience for them to understand. Maybe with way of trading, because in my opinion this is the most effective way and many people who understand about it.

Bitcoin :open immutable decentralized global fair
February 01, 2018, 09:23:36 PM
plenty of old people in USA buying bitcoin.

they are smart - understand economics, history, and world politics...

Bitcoin's lightning network is emerging where fees will be tiny and cross-chain atomic swaps for decentralized exchange.

Governments and laws are controlled by the central banks. Bitcoin is an anti-establishment revolution that has already solidified itself worldwide.

Bitcoin cannot be controlled. It cannot be banned. It cannot be made illegal. And conversely it cannot be legalized. It just simply is. And people can always use it.

Those trying to undermine and manipulate bitcoin stem from the central bank system around the world;
-the central banks dictate policy to all the operating big banks around the world and have essentially tried their best to ban bitcoin related transactions for more than four years straight, ever since 2013, and have failed at stopping bitcoin's growth, adoption, and popularity
-the central banks fund efforts to undermine bitcoin, providing plenty of capital and liquidity to private companies and venture backed groups such as Digital Currency Group (they own Coinbase, GDAX, Kraken, Bitpay, and media outlet Coindesk) and also Roger Ver/Bitmain to undermine and break the bitcoin protocol and/or manipulate trade

Above are just small examples.

First, educate yourself and then others. Please checkout the link to the bitcointalk post in my signature titled: How to teach Bitcoin to a 7 year old.

Bitcoin is a secure, decentralized, trustless and open system which cannot be banned nor controlled.

Bitcoin is ultimate store of value and its popularity has strengthened over time and maximizes value compared to any other altcoin...why?:
If it can be shutdown, and have assets frozen by a bank or government, there would be no value
If it wasn't secure, there would be no value.
If it wasn't immutable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't globally distributed, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so strong, open-source decentralized and unstoppable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so scarce, there would be no value.
If it was easy to spam transactions, there would be no value
If it required a central 3rd party to function, there would be no value
If it was stopped after all major banks on Earth banned in 2013 to today, there would be no value. (say "bitcoin" when transacting and watch the block of the transaction. simple fix=never mention "bitcoin").
If it didn't have the history of 8+ years (and still no hacker can exploit bitcoin blockchain), there would be no value
Bitcoin is on the verge of lightning network release rendering altcoins as only backup plan options if not dead.
If it was exactly like fiat and only did transactions, there would be no value.

Bitcoin's value is worth hundreds of billions USD today. Altcoins however are scams, weak, pyramid schemes not offering these values.

Bitcoin has all the characteristics needed combined to hold the most value and increasing more than any other financial-asset option coming from the manipulated fiat central-banking debt-system. (more than stocks, more than houses, more than gold)

It is increasingly difficult for the older generation to understand and get accustomed to the dynamic process that we witness in Bitcoin. We need to understand that older generation has already invested the major share of their life into the traditional process of making money. It is deep rooted into their instinct. Now, this sudden change into the decentralized currency and the dynamic changes that we witness everyday, stands as a source of risk to their lifetime savings. That’s why they are always hesitant to accept the change and refuse to re-organise their funds into the virtual money. However, there are a few of them who are evergreen in their mental setup. It will really make sense to first involve these few oldies into the world of crypto. After a while, it is they who can involve the rest into our dynamic world of Crypto-currency (Bitcoin).

Old people usually have youngs on the family (grandchildren). It would be the best way to introduce old people into Crypto world. Step by step grandchildren can teach and guide their grandparents into this world. As most old people don't know how to access internet and computers yet, the youngs should have to do most part of the job, explaining all the features (address, wallet, exchange, currencies, satoshis...). And executing the transactions.

Truly, it would be really hard. I think it's better the old ones just enter with the money, while the youngs enter with the practice.  Cheesy

How to spread awareness of Bitcoin in a way so that old people start to use more bitcoin?
I think it can be done gradually, little by little we give understanding with the language they understand, with a good approach and creativity itself, to ensure that bitcoin is an inevitable part of life because over time, bitcoin will become a necessity, I think bitcoin is a new face in the economic world that must be recognized and understood by parents. although they are accustomed to paper money, but in some transactions today with sophisticated technology is using nontunai, virtual, and digital. other than that also provide information that the future use of paper money distribution will be less because the more precedence is efficient, precise fast and easy in transactions, all that can only be done with non-cash transactions, one bitcoin is a new currency worth investing including by parents and used for the smooth and progress of future generations. so with that every parent will realize that bitcoin is important and has become part of their lives.

First you need to catch up their attention and interest by showing your proof of income and you work easily on it by using your phone and internet. I will tell them on how powerful technology is and he can earn money on it by doing some simple job.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and the younger generation would not have any problem using it. But it is not the same with older generation as they already find difficulty in using credit and debit card.It might take a little bit more time for them to adopt to this new currency.

There is nothing old and new it's all about dedication to work, goals, targets, making analysis and making the move in a right turn. Any person can adopt bitcoin, learn and keep continuing by studying it wisely.

Bitcoin is for everyone, regardless the age, race, ethnicity..Its a digital and decentralized currency available online for everyone having access to Internet connection, and having the basical needed knowledge about BTC. But it is right that most users of BTC are young people because they use Internet a lot more than old people, and they are also open to learn and to trust the blockchain technology.

For me, there's nothing wrong sharing your knowledge about bitcoin and making people aware about it because bitcoin is for everyone. But if I'm going to share it to elders i will tell them the pro's and cons of it so that there won't be any problem about it in the future. Let them choose whatever currency they wanted to use it's enough exerting an effort to make them aware about it.
