Most of the reports I've read claim the USA and Canada to be the most friendly large countries with a bunch of smaller no population (who cares) countries mixed in.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that places like Sweden and Denmark love Bitcoin but, let's face it, those countries combined have a total population less than the greater Los Angeles area. The population of Denmark is just under 6 million. The population of the San Francisco Bay Area is 7 million.

From the european point of view Netherlands is Bitcoin friendly country. They were among first countries who had Bitcoin ATMs, shops that were accepting Bitcoins and regulated Bitcoin in positive way.
Many people there have very positive attitude towards Bitcoin and some companies are even paying part of paycheks in Bitcoin.

China dominates btc mining off course...
As far as I know, China has most numbers of miners and they have around 51% hashing power. Then, there is large number of bitcoin in United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, and Canada etc. I see some countries like India, Russia, China will have comparatively large number of bitcoin users compared with rest of the world (China has largest mining pool power but I am not sure about common bitcoin users).

Surprised not to see china in this list however government doesn't seem to care much about bitcoin mining farms situated in china and you can see majority of buying volume coming from china which suggest china being one of the bitcoin blooming country.I'm also surprised not to see China on the list because as many people say China "controls" bitcoin and many miners are Chinese. probably there is another problem we don't know about china.
I think Russia is also bitcoin friendly country because there are a lot of shops accepting bitcoin there.

Bitcoin has users from all around the world, but it is used more in eastern Asia countries and South America countries if I am not wrong, especially China which has great impact on Bitcoin price as the biggest Bitcoin mining companies work in China.

You can get a lot of the countries are bitcoin friendly at the South America, there are a lot of bitcoiners in there. And it's already supported by their environment. A lot of store which accepts bitcoin for his payment. Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?
I may think if in some countries outside of the South America the bitcoin will be becoming friendly for all while Russian are pull his statement for ban bitcoin in his country.
it's one hell of a lot friendlier than most places. there are tons of exchanges, tons of places to spend it, regulators have clarified a few things about it. that's all positive.

I think every country is a bitcoin friendly country .well in the future it might happen that bitcoins maybe illegal in the near future .but dont loose hope rather u should sell those bitcoins and enjoy ur life .kudoos

I think just some group at China which doing a bitcoin activity, mostly mining farm activity, we know electronic equipment there is have a low cost and the electric bills is categorized cheaper.
Guys go to Google trends and do a search using 'Bitcoin' as the search term for the past 7 days. You will see the interest over time and the interest by region which are represented by a graph and a map. The most bizarre thing is that Nigeria has a search interest of 100 which is the highest possible lol. If you are interested to check it out here you go:

Singapore is one of the most Bitcoin-friendly countries. Switzerland is another one. The government tolerates the use of Bitcoins. On the other hand, a guy was detained in France after a policeman heard him uttering the word "Bitcoin".
Do you have link to the news regarding policeman detaining guy who utter the word "bitcoin" ? I don't think this was the real situation there.I read it in Reddit. Not sure whether it was a real incident or a fake one. The incident occurred at the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Most of the users in Reddit believe that it was a real incident.

For miners China is definitely at the top, now since China has most miners then it most likely dominates in number of users also, but I think BTC are kinda distributed in US and UK and other countries also there's no way to exactly say that. For vendors I think its the UK because i have seen alot of BTC related services which are based in UK. Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?

I will just base my answer on my though, that the country that has the most miners are found in China and I think that is not a secret anymore. So most of the countries that are in the list are mostly found in first world countries and it is not a surprise for me.
I can't exactly say that the Philippines is bitcoin-friendly but if we base the transaction volume coming from there, which I think ranks in the top 5, you can say that the Philippines is ahead of most other countries. We know that the Filipinos are very fond of social media and are very much almost always online, so the digital currency is something that they are already using.
Yes, I agree! I think one of this country was Philippines. Although Philippines are not on the top 10 list, many bitcoin users may find in this country. if you will enter on the group pages you will see how people of the Philippines really patronising bitcoins. Also in this country many are already using bitcoins in buying merchants and paying bills.Another country that i believe Bitcoin Friendly was sweden.

This post actually sums it up it has a good break up of all Bitcoin using countries accept it's just a old link. Currently usa, India and other countries are using Bitcoins more, for atms and school for gas also. Recently swizz and dubai allowed it for transport. So my point is now lieterally all are using it. Mining if you want, I keep reading it's China who's in the lead. Sooner or later Bitcoin shall be used by all big or small countries
