Canada is one of the few countries in the whole world that actually has bitcoin atm's in major cities. That makes Canada pretty bitcoin friendly, but I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Because, that will only mean more laws regarding bitcoin.

I believe that Vancouver had the very first Bitcoin ATM, at a coffee house (I happened to visit there).  One wonderful thing about that machine (I do not know if it is true for the rest of Canada) is that it did not require ID nor a cell-phone text 2FA.  Put your money in, get BTC.  What a great concept!

Canadians!  Please advise if you need ID for BTC ATMs in your other cities.  If not, I will be up there again!  THAT alone would make Canada "Bitcoin Friendly".

I know that China is number one by bitcoin users. Ten India and The United States of America. And I heard that India is going to become number one by the number of users. That's logically that in such poor country as India interest to bitcoin is only grows. Bitcoin can become good underworking and even work there for people who are wise and have internet and computer.

It will be the country of its creator of  course, Non other than Japan cause it officially recognizes bitcoin as a form of money .  Also other countries that don't care and allowing its citizens to use it freely (in a good way of course ) are considered friendly too

The potential users of Bitcoin to win the most are those in countries whose financial institutions have been destroyed or damaged and whose currencies are highly volatile. This includes almost all of Latin America, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe such as Ukraine, Russia and Greece.
Despite the increased awareness of crypto-currency in 2016, it is much further in regards to the formal approval and recognition of Bitcoin.
The government must respond in the same way as seen with the rise in interest around private block chains in financial institutions.

I agree to those people who said that Singapore is the most friendly countries when it comes to bitcoin, because Asians people are the people who is grabbing the opportunities that will give benefits to them, they are open-minded in short. Bitcoin is very popular around the world so for me, the most friendly countries when we are talking about bitcoin is those big countries like America, and so on.
you dont say that America belongs to bitcoin friendly country ,IRS gave statement last time that they legally want to pursue tax collection to people from America using Coinbase platform they want all information about them and to track their transaction how come you said that they are one of the friendliest bitcoin country so your comment is invalid.

Bitcoin as such has nothing to do with that

The US has always been known for its severe penalties including imprisonment if you get caught with tax evasion. It doesn't matter whether it is Bitcoin, gold, or something else that you aim at tax evasion with. None other than Al Capone, the famous Chicago gangster from the roaring 1920s and early 1930s, ended up convicted and sentenced to 11 years in prison for income tax evasion in the amount of $388,000...

So, if you are a US citizen and don't want to end up like him, you'd better not mess with the IRS

Its ok if there are doing this i know that US tax is something that you dont mess up, im from Europe and if they are doing that just to see how many US citizens are in this ok then but if they want to use this data to see how many people are using it then its something else i must say.

I will go for these African countries, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe. I don't think there is any legislation on Bitcoin use there and also the price is striving
I think no need to rush now itself, as bitcoin is really going to be legal in all over the world because the adoption rate of bitcoin is continuously increasing and this will really put pressure on government to consider their stands on bitcoin as friendly as possible. So these African countries will not be an exceptions.

Most of the countries are bitcoin friendly. There is two ATM's in my little country. China, USA, India, Brazil, Russia and other big countries have most users, they have more bitcoins. But there is bunch of other little countries that give a little contribution to bitcoin. Some little country like mine have more chances to adopt bitcoins and change all government structure then some big one.
I do not agree with you. I live in the country which accepts bitcoin as a type of payment so currently I can use my Bitcoin whenever I want. However, most of the countries around the world criticize bitcoin and do not accept Bitcoin at all. People in these countries still think that Bitcoin is something which is not reliable, trustful and able to steal their money. Luckily, we are not living in those countries but we must have to figure out the way to globalize bitcoin in order to use it worldwide, not only in some developed countries

I can't exactly say that the Philippines is bitcoin-friendly but if we base the transaction volume coming from there, which I think ranks in the top 5, you can say that the Philippines is ahead of most other countries. We know that the Filipinos are very fond of social media and are very much almost always online, so the digital currency is something that they are already using.
Maybe philippines is a bitcoin friendly because many people use it and and many can used bitcoin in different transaction. Filipino now in online investment and online store they use bitcoin and accept bitcoin as a payment. So maybe Philippines is one of the most bitcoin friendly country.

You would think that most country would tolerate and even be more accepting of bitcoins within their borders but after reading some of the comments on this thread I am beginning to think otherwise. Undecided

Which country has most number of bitcoin users, miners and vendors? And in which country bitcoin is accepted the most? Like in at institutes or super malls or stores etc.
Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?
This is only China who has billions number of Bitcoin user because here in this country the cost of electricity spent is very low so it is very easy to mine Bitcoin through hardware Bitcoin miner .
Yes, as Chines are hard workers, they really get benefit from every thing, their products are famous in all over the world for having low prices.

As miners of bitcoin will be more in China than any other country, we can assume more bitcoin users there so large bitcoin community too. That also can be one of the measurement for being bitcoin friendly country.

CHOYNA!
to all your questions.

but thankfully bitcoins is getting more accepted each day. Not only because of bitcoin adoption, but third party services too(payment gateways).
today i can buy anything using my bitcoin debit card even if the vendor doesnt know what bitcoin is.
Actually, if bitcoin is adopted by some companies as their alternate payment method, the one who is going to get the benefits is the companies themselves. but unfortunately they just don't have the balls to take this step, I honestly don't know why but it's such a problem on bitcoin adoption
they're not going to lose anything by the way

I think China, USA are the most BTC friendly countries. There is a lot of Bitcoin's users from this countries and that's easily noticed, but in the other hand Bitcoin is really worldwide currency and its used even in Africa and in the 3rd world countries, because its more easy to people there to use Bitcoin than using Paypal -for example- which don't support the most of the 3rd world countries.
