Lol, I think this thread should be locked by now, Bitcoin has proven time and again that it can go as high as $20k in 2017. So how the hell in the world would you say that it's garbage. It has made a lot of people millionaires as well, so we need to stop this and locked this thread for good.
Bitcoin marketcap has reached $ 140 billion, even this is greater than foreign exchange from many countries, with a large marketcap of course no one is hesitant to say that bitcoin is gold.
When I was new in crypto world heard a lot from people that Bitcoin is garbage but I say Bitcoin is future and career maker and also more than real gold Today I have made my career as Bitcoin investor and trader . I was jobless with no earning a dime I did not have capital to invest thanks to ICO airdrop and bounty that gave me free tokens to make money without investing I sold some tokens and accumulate btc to start trading in Bitcoin that is my love and passion and started trading and investing in bitstamp exchange. And now this is my full time career I am from India but certainly not afraid with crypto ban

Garbage does appreciate in value over time or become a "store of value".
Bitcoin, in it's 10 years of existence, have proven to be a very good store of value like gold (even better than gold due to its portability).
Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole is the most valuable enhancement to money after more than 500 years.
In a few more decades, the Digital Revolution, will be taken as one of the critical turning point in the history of mankind:
- Mainframes of the 50's-70's
- Rise of personal computing of the 60's-90's
- The internet revolution of the 70's to 2K
- the dot.com boom and bust 90's-2K,
- Telecommunications expansion (80's - ? exponential)
- Digital data storage expansion (70's - ? exponential)
- decentralized internet money (2009-?) - bitcoin and alts

There has never been a day I ever doubt the value of Bitcoin, for it has serve it's due purpose for which it was innovated, anyone that speaks ill of Bitcoin is yet to experience it's real value and importance. Bitcoin is Gold!
For me, there can never be a garbage coin where its price is comparable to precious gold. With the price of bitcoin, it can be called as digital gold as some investors says that. Even bitcoin decreases its price still it has the good value in the market ranking the most valued coin and the most volume coin.

Comparing the gold and Bitcoin is not a right thing because the difference between the qualities of the value is completely not equal so if you think the better investment then it will both playing important role in different ways.
People who are new to crypto certainly think in crypto space this is only bitcoin. Actually there are so many altcoins that we can get. That's why we have to know before saying something. Actually there are also many people around me who don't know the world of cryptocurrencies. In any case we can generate income here.
Bitcoin is not likely to become worthless nor should it be superseded by a newer technology that easily because it is the most predominant blockchain that exists today and although comparisons have been made between it and physical gold it defines its own unique asset class as a technology, commodity and future store of value and its appeal is likely to increase to a broader range of investors in the coming months which will further increase its adoption
I can understand this question in 2009 but right now it is something irrelevant. We can argue bitcoin is gold or not but we can't argue it is garbage or not.

There will always be naysayers, it doesn't matter what other people think about bitcoin. Bitcoin is one of the best investment one can make. It is convenient to use and aside from it's convenience it also had provided a lot of income opportunity for other people. Just ignore people who's talking trash or spreading FUDbout crypto.
People who might say bitcoin is garbage have a selfish attitude because cryptocurrencies make it possible for people to earn from this newly found gold with ease, and the biggest advantage is that it's open to everyone around the world without restrictions which come with regulated currencies.
Ignore those people who are saying bitcoin is a garbage they just simply cant understand things that are valuable in the future,they are eaten by the government right now believing that there is no other currency besides the currency they issue they think all of crypto stuffs are useless and scams
Bitcoin is garbage? It's probably not! If it is garbage, I will not experience some luxurious things from my profits with bitcoin. Lol. Those who said that bitcoin is a garbage was those who are bitter and doesn't know how to use or trade it. Or even become deficit from lack of knowledge about it. Sorry to them but majority here envy bitcoin. It is powerful and useful.
I guess if he said bitcoin is garbage, it means he doesn't understand what the benefits of bitcoin for him are and I think he doesn't get something from bitcoin.Many of us already prove that bitcoin is not garbage, and even they can get a new way to make money from bitcoin, and they still try to get more money.
They cannot learn some lesson of bitcoin so they can easily to said like that, but if they found one benefits of bitcoin, I am sure that they will search the other benefits and they will hunt it until they can get all benefits of bitcoin.

Why would they call bitcoin a garbage if they look in bitcoin as an easy money ? They should have value bitcoin .i think they didnt know anything in bitcoin and panic selling when price drop
Even the people that think bitcoin is an easy money still do have some knowledge on it because their money is at risk here . they dont want to give away their money as a form of donation if they dont know anything on thier investment . panic selling is also normal especially if they see the price is rising . there are lot of opportunity in crypto they just need to learn more and undestand the true value of it
Yeah thats true meyt . crypto is more than a payment system but the true value of crypto is by using it as a payment method not as a form of business In fact, many stories that you experience, don't listen to their words about negative bitcoin, prove to them that bitcoin is not garbage, even if you only invest from being a bounty hunter, it's okay
Basically what just happened is that, bitcoin before is associated with many scam projects. I remember sharing what bitcoin is to my new friends, their first impression was not good for the reputation of bitcoin. I think market adoption will going to be a hard time if these issues will not be addressed properly by those known in the community.

I agree with you even bitcoin is more than gold. If bitcoin has to die it would happen long ago but right now it has big community to talk about it to invest in it to do new invention in it and more importantly many govt working hard for the legitimate use of it. So it will definately work and provide new financial inclusion to world
