Reading these posts, I begin to understand why BTG is down 37% on Bitfinex now, and was down 44% a little earlier. Just a rough launch, I take it.
What a nonsence with BTG from the start, and now new issues. Cant believe dev team is so butter-fingers. Their only target was the money, it is evident now.

PLANNED or just incompetence, I think I said all along it would take weeks to download, as its not a download, the entire block-chain must be recomputed and reformatted.
Their current FORK from 491407 to 499407 is 8000 blocks, at 10 min, interval that be 55 days, that from OCT25 (first fork date) puts this BITCH ready on XMAS day, ... do U get it??

show the getblockchaininfo, that's what counts your current block, top block, and your verification progress
I have been reading the post since the mainnet live starts and hahaha. I guess its better if we give it a try, I mean who gives a ***K if we waste "lets say a day or so" for mining, atleast we tried. If bitfools is right, then thanks a lot mate for passing the concept to us!

i've got this runnign on a cloud vps too however mine still says 0 peers. what nodes did you add?

The simple fact that Jack Liao, can put his name on shit, and that the 'token' got banned in aug2017 in CHINA, and get shipped to Russia, where they put together a 'team' in Bulgaria, to re-package the 'token' as a 'bitcoin-clone/gold', is well historical.
In BTC history, I see this as some kind of turning point, where BTC development got off-shored to the insane asylums and prisons.
