The more this drags on, the less credible this fork becomes. It seems ridiculous to have forked with a half baked platform. Are you guys optimistic or pessimistic about BTG at this point in time?

Decidedly pessimistic. There are lots of altcoins and many are rubbish. But few are incompetent, or at least as incompetent as BTG.
It would be pretty pessimistic to not want to see the price of Bitcoin Gold to increase beyond what they think it will because there is an actual development team working on the coin.

At this point, the Bitcoin Gold blockchain will officially be live, with blocks mined openly by users and pools from all around the world.

Wallets and exchanges will be able to process deposits, withdrawals and trades (as soon as they are ready).

Hello! Does anyone know if or how to get Bitcoin gold out of an Mycellium wallet or if it is even possible? I have a friend that put his BTC in there before the fork becuase he was told that they were supporting it. I don't know anything about this wallet so any help would be appreciated!

If I remember it right the android version was able to export the private keys.
It should be under the keys tab, by selecting the account and export the keys.
Check coinmarketcap for exchanges that have Bitcoin Gold. You won't need to import your private key to an exchange. If they ask for your private key, ignore it.

The exchange wallets that made it public that they will support it didn't support it after the hard fork, for me Bitcoin Gold is a well thought scam.

Could someone explain this to me like I am 10 years old?

I had a bitcoin in my Exodus wallet. Can I claim my Bitcoin gold from another wallet by importing the private keys? If so, how?

Not yet. You have to wait for BTG mainnet to become active.
They are planning to launch the mainnet after they confirm that testnet v2 is fully tested and secured.

Thank you!
I had BTC in Bittrex at the time of fork. Will i get BTG later if I will withdraw or sell BTC now? If yes, will they just appear in my wallet in Bittrex later even without having BTC there anymore?
Same for Trezor. Can I get BTC from the wallet now and still will receive BTG later?

OK SO who are the sockpuppets here, just raise your hand.

I don't understand your paranoid reasoning? I asked a question someone answers with a lot of detail I said thanks. How does that make anyone a sockpuppet?

You don't? Reread all those changed and quoted posts. It's pretty self evident. If I eally cared I'd go back and see who changed what but I really don't care this shitshow has come to a halt finally.

I choose to be neutral. I have nothing against the forks and the altcoins. Competition is always welcome but we all know that there can be only ONE.
