Is that done from testnet? Is BTG available for mining?

Thank you

They say Bitcoin Gold mining gives much more income and benefits that mining of Bitcoin.  Bitcoin Gold community says that now, after the events of November, 12, mining will be at block height 499407.
Who the hell mines Bitcoin with GPU?

We mine Bitcoin GOLD with GPU.

Does anyone use single rx vega 64? what are the hashrate values? how to blockchain driver for btg mining?

I have flashed my 56 to 64 bios, it does 2800 hashes

omg - ONE Vega does more than 7 of my rx470/570s? They do ~230 H/sec each. That can't be right...HuhHuh

No, it aint right. Vega does ~450 sols with reasonable power draw. So better stick with cryptonight algos.

Hey guys,

just read a post about the new hardfork. I heard that the mining difficulty for Bitcoin Gold will be again "easy". Is that true? Can I use the cards I use for ethereum mining, for Bitcoin Gold?

Thank you in advance!

no you cant mine it with your cards, you need special servers to do it,

I am mining now with one rig pointed to suprnova and it isn't really looking too good. No shares for over an hour (pool side) and a big message across the top of the page stating they don't even know if they are mining on the correct chain...

Quote
Be aware that there's currently a chain-split happening and suprnova's chain could be "declared" as the wrong chain by the dev-team. However, it's the longest chain so usually it should be okay, it's advisable to not invest in mining until the devs give out an official statement. (Watch Twitter)

I've been mining for 5 hours and have 4000 shares. Also that message the top is old, read the line right under it... "UPDATE: It seems our chain is correct."
