Hello author! I don't how it will be in 2018 but I am sure it will be unstable and still high volatility and big problems with transactions because alot of people want join and make money but this system are not ready.
By next year 2018, btc will fall and rise again. And it will be well known than now. With each passing year, reduces the time it will take btc to become legal, accepted by the government and the people( perhaps world wild).
Well we really have the right to speculate but the right thing to do is to wait. We already know about the unstable price of bitcoin and if we put basis on it maybe we can say that it will really go down and rise again in the near future but we dont know what will be the right time for us to gain that is why i reffer to get an update aboit the price everyday than speculating because speculation didnt really help us to earn.
I hope the BTC keep an stablished price for a few months, because on Febrary I'm getting paid a big sum of money and going in invest some.

The futures markets may have caused some issues for us in the short term, but long term I think will provide some stability to the coin. Provided the transaction fee issue is addressed I'm pretty bullish for BTC in 2018.
Bitcoin will do much better in 2018 because the dramatic price change in Bitcoin will lure more investors to the currency system.You can not be sure. According to me, the price will drop to 5k $ after the new year. Now most people sell and do not buy. Therefore, the price will continue to fall.

The lighting network should have been implemented in the next year. I believe its a good thing for Bitcoin if it can solve the transaction fees and the transaction confirmation time problem because it is getting ridiculous, people won't pay 20$ only for a fee.

Well if we don't get some big hubs for Lighting Network around bitcoin itself, for me personally I think that many bussinesses will try to put in altcoins as payment that they accept one of these being bitpay which is currently looking to implement altcoins. But looking at it now there are some preatty good indicators.
Since this year there were a lot of All Time Highs which ment that mainstream media wrote about bitcoin time to time, so when people start to think about whats so special and because of its price when people start to get puzzeled they will want to investigate more. Which means that there might be wider adoption.
