I don't know if bitcoin can be insured, because until now the company that accepts bitcoin insurance doesn't know yet. In my opinion, it is rather difficult, because the owner of the bitcoin is anonymous, while the insurance company must have accurate KYC data that will be needed when a bitcoin claim occurs.

there are many but scam projects. and this is far from the concept of blockchain technology. if you want to invest safely you should leave this industry and invest in banking. that's all you can do

I wouldn't be so gullible if someone actually offers that type of insurance to protect our bitcoin investments or even with altcoins. That type of offer is likely a scam and not existing. How can someone protect our bitcoin investments? protecting from hackers? use a hardware wallet and stay away from keeping your funds on exchanges, protecting from the risk? then you don't understand volatility.

There are several scammers online who claimed to do such or something similar to bitcoin insurance some are even advise their ICO's. They ask you to send some bitcoin and promise to give some percentage after some time but they will end up defrauding you of your fund. The real bitcoin insurance company are rare do your findings very well before putting in your fund.
Cryptocurrencies are an area of high risk, so I think that insurance in this area should be well planned. I don't know of organizations that carry insurance of cryptocurrencies.

It really is hard to find some insurance company for that and harder thing is finding somthing that is not scam!!!
i have seen a couple of them in the past that said they are doing something like that. i have even seen an ICO for this matter but all of those that i have seen were pure scams nothing more.
yup is very difficult to find an insurance company engaged in crypto or accept crypto currency, the most important thing now is the careful deception in the name of fraud

I do not think that any company can provide insurance to Bitcoin as it could be a risky business and if someone is offering such service then it should be thoroughly investigated as it may run with clients money w/o giving any insurance claim.

Until now, I do not know that there is an insurance that will cover cryptocurrency investments, even to cover stock investments, insurance companies will still think many times, and if it is to cover cryptocurrency investments, you will be required to pay a really large premium because investment in cyptocurrency is truly risky due to uncertain price fluctuations.

I don't know if there are any services like that, but if there is, I think many of us will try their services since, in cryptocurrency, there is no guarantee for us always to make a profit. But they need to know a lot of things about cryptocurrency so they can guarantee their customer to get protection investment and their customer can be calm down. I don't know what will the government say if they found this insurance services and I think the government will need to prepare the regulations so they can be safe for their customer.

If theres one for sure that is scammy so beware.
This is impossible to provide mate because cryptocurrency is anonymous and insuring our assets needs personal identification,or else you will be dealing with anonymous company also that might be “fly by night”
So stop looking for crypto insurance instead keep your security safer and prevent from entering hack sites

There is no insurance cover for bitcoin transaction for now.All the transaction in cryptocurrency presently are not covered by any insurance cover and are of high risk. But There is an on going Project generating fund through ICO which claim their project will insure crypto deposits against market price fall. This is the only project that may grant insurance cover for crypto deposits.
A project like that will be beautifull to see and follow but its not adviceable to run into it the moment it comes out because its likely going to be scam but who knows? Something like that can come up and succeed . Just be on the watchout

I really agree with insurance services like that, but as long as there is still no such insurance company, I really hope there is insurance for crypto services because it is certainly very helpful, and investors will not worry and calm if there is theft.
An insurance service that will give back your money when you do bad investments? Sounds impossible for me as well as abusable. One person can easily team up with someone to appear as the scammer and the victim. Both characters can also be just one person. Double money for every repetition. Even in real life, there's a lot of insurance fraud happening. What more would it be in a place like this where everyone can be anonymous and have no real life consequence if caught. You can be a well-known scammer in the crypto world and still live a normal life in real life.Plus, people knowing that their money will be given back to them everytime they get scammed will result to mindless investments. They will try out all sorts of investments until they find something that is not a scam. I wonder how could the insurance company recover from multiple people getting scammed multiple times. I also wonder how are they going to make money from such service and where would the money they are giving out come from? It's so unrealistic but still quite believable. No wonder why a lot of ICOs in the past used this concept, but obviously failed.
