Now many have doubts that bitcoin can become a world currency. Nobody knows what will happen to bitcoin tomorrow. Therefore, we can not now talk about the good future bitcoin

I don't believe that a global currency must be issued by an authority. I believe that a global currency just has to be a currency that is accepted globally. I do believe that it will be a cryptocurrency. I personally think that Bitcoin has the best chance of being accepted globally simply because it doesn't have a central authority. For this reason alone more people will be willing to accept it. And it certainly doesn't hurt that it has network effect going for it.

Well i dream with the day countries will accept and recognize bitcoin as a digital currency, and that might happen on the next 10-20 years, since some politicians are aware of bitcoin already. Almost all of the transactions are being made with bitcoin, and the power and volume is already big enought to get those status.

At this stage bitcoin is NOT capable of handling global currency load. At most it has become global commodity and too much sought after commodity rather than global currency.

Bitcoin could be a means of payment for e-commerce site and will be a serious contender for a traditional money exchange service providers.

Bitcoin can be a global currency when they will unbanned bitcoin and will be accept to all country to let everyone use it but not There are countries that still bitcoin banned to them this is why bitcoin can't be a global currency , And i don't believed that bitcoin can be global currency since we can't even used our bitcoin to buy physical things.

If Bitcoin became global currency, it would necessarily limit what bankers and govt could do. It would be much, much more difficult for govt to finance wars, continually expand welfare roles (as opposed to focusing on those who are in most need), subsidize various industries, etc. Bankers would also have more incentive to limit it's lending.

However, overall there isn't any reason to believe that there wouldn't be similar investment vehicles, savings edifices, deposit insurance, etc.
In addition, as someone else mentioned, a fixed currency creates a situation where productivity and population growth (slowly) increases the value of each bitcoin. This encourages savings over debt.

Many disagree about the impact on business, productivity, growth, innovation, etc between an (moderate) inflationary/deflationary environment. But that's a slightly different and deeper conversation. Briefly, many believe that a deflationary environment would not just slow, but actually reverse spending, growth, and investment ("Deflationary death spiral"). They tend to believe that inflation is necessary to encourage spending and growth. Others (myself included) believe that an inflationary environment tends to encourage over-consumption, spending and borrowing over savings - thus leading to more/bad debt and contribute to in-stable boom/bust economic crashes. Similarly, these believe a deflationary environment would not stifle growth, but would slow it to a stable, more sustainable rate.

Yes, I think that Bitcoin is becoming a global currency. Because, Bitcoin has gained it's popularity now-a-days. Also most of the people are very interested in Bitocoin. So, as it has become a useful thing to people, it can become a Global Currency.
to me i think bitcoin already a global currency, because bitcoin is present in all over the world i do not think that there will be a single country where bitcoin will not be using.

This is what I'm also thinking too. Bitcoin is already a global currency because us who are using bitcoin can be found in different countries which is good to be considered as global currency. Though the government will not declare bitcoin as global currency but for us who are using it and enjoying the benefits of it can simply consider it.

Yeah and this is why I am earning lots and lots of bitcoins online. In my country price of bitcoin is like 5 figures lol! If I earn free bitcoins I am like having crazy profit each time. Where USD was popular before it has become news of past. In my country whoever knows about bitcoins they just storing them for better price. As we don't have much options to spend bitcoins here we are storing and selling them at the right price. I am waiting for bitcoin to hit 6 figures and it is close to that then I will have dam crazy days with bitcoins. :-)

BTC to the MOON in 2019

You already can see now that Bitcoin is already used all over the world and that is nice and I also think that the value of Bitcoin is rising slowly now so that is really nice.
But it will be really hard to know what the value will be later but it is nice if it will be more popular and used.
No, bitcoin is not being used all over the world, but can be use of all people citizens in all globally. But prediction was only a guess which has no accurate or assurance that it will happen.  Wink

Yeah we cannot expect that each and every person will start using bitcoins in future as there will be many people who will prefer to stay away from bitcoins and continue with fiat currency so its hard to believe that bitcoin can ever become a global currency.
I'm pretty sure the volume of people who would prefer to use fiat is bigger than bitcoin users, we do not need to sacrifice one another as both can be useful to our life. Bitcoin was solely created to aid the slow transactions of fiat and now that it is widely recognize, we have to take the benefits of using it. It is not solely for investment as others think, it's created to be spent and we will only make profit from our investment if the demand will continue to increase.

For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
That's show Bitcoin is now full pledged global currency, because there are more country right now adopting the system of what Bitcoin has and what it can do to each nation once the features is being adopt by the masses.
Blockchain is not bitcoin and bitcoin is not blockchain. You're wrong the bitcoin has become the global currency caused by his massive adoption in the various fiat pair for the bitcoin trade. but
More countries just try to adopt the blockchain which mean they are no interested with the bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a global currency under the above definition, it's use all over the world although the adoption is not too big yet. Even with that, the status is very acceptable since bitcoin is relatively new compared to the existing legal currencies. They have different usage and bitcoin is for all nations who would love to consider it as their payment system, when using bitcoin it is always partnered with fiat in any country you belong.

I'm sure your idea still need a long time, the State will not replace a fiat money system because many lack of the bitcoin, one of the most important is the control. If the State adopts a system of centralized, but surely equal to fiat money.

Bitcoin, and without a government of laws it is a world currency. It exists regardless of frontiers. It can be used anywhere in the world

Yes. It can be used anywhere. But there are two conditions. The first is that you should be having a good internet connection (somewhere in this forum, I saw a thread claiming that transactions can be done using the mobile connection, but I am not sure about it). The second is that you should find someone who is willing to accept Bitcoins.

Bitcoin has and always will be a global currency, it can be used in any country without an issue in the least. I would call it a currency without borders. The only tough thing about bitcoin is that it can't fully be used in every country to the potential that we all wished it could be.

bitcoin will really become an international currency when everyone was using bitcoin. but for now, there is still he who does not know to use bitcoin, even some of those who hate using bitcoin, for several reasons. but, when everything has been receiving bitcoin, I think it would be very easy for bitcoin to become a global currency.

This isn't true and I don't think bitcoin can ever be used by everyone instead of using the currency of the individual country. That's just like saying the US dollar isn't a global currency because not everyone in the world is using it. It's used around the globe by banks and such to hold reserves, simply it's also a global currency.

I think Bitcoin is not becoming a global currency, rather it is already and it has always been. The nature of Bitcoin is global.
Yes true, if bitcoin currency of course all countries will accepted. In my country, bitcoin same with commodity, and not accept for payment. Don't too high expectations with bitcoin.

yeah, because bitcoin is available in all countries as long as the citizens have internet connection. if a currency can do such thing, we can call it as global currency. besides, it is used in many countries.

Internet facility is available in all countries, but backward countries don't have much knowledge about bitcoin. Bitcoin will become global currency only when they have proper exchanges. Even though they have knowledge about how to use bitcoin, but they need to convert them into their corresponding currency. But very soon Bitcoin will become global currency.
once people around the world especially the government openly adopt bitcoin to their financial system.
i think it is enough as a sign that bitcoin ready to be accepted as currency globally.
and yeaaa as time goes by , exchanges will come up .

Bitcoin, and without a government of laws it is a world currency. It exists regardless of frontiers. It can be used anywhere in the world
