It can be considered already an international currency, because it was made for everybody to use and can be used anywhere in the world . I believe what the currency needs, at the time, is more adoption to give it some positive traction..

I agree on the part where smart people indeed use Bitcoin as they know and are able to understand the power of using and holding Bitcoin. But people without internet either can't afford it as they are living in third world countries, or they make the choice to not use internet. But that doesn't mean these people are stupid.
smart or stupid is relative,and can't be calculated,judging people and consider they're stupid because of not using bitcoin is so subjective
Till it's not accepted somewhere, bitcoin is golobal currency only in people minds, but honestly bitcoin is still young for it.

We can say that it is global currency now because lots of people use it
just wondering if a currency is still not being recognited as official currency in most of country but still biased or just say between illegal and legal (not regulated) yet,can it be called global currency? though it's being used by people widely but don't know whether it's legal or illegalNo one is claiming for bitcoin as illegal currency , there are only a few countries which have banned it for their citizens and they gave the reason as it is often used by criminals they do not have any hostility with bitcoin, among which Russia was a major power but now they have allowed it for their citizens.

i think it is the the intelligent people who only use bitcoin but to me tho people who have the facilities of internet so they are using it and those people who do not have the facilities or those people who cannot afford bitcoin so they are not using it, but still there are so many people who even using internet but still have no idea about bitcoin, so such kind of people need awareness about bitcoin so that they can start using it.

It's possible to see that btc is becoming more and more popular everyday. There are more people getting to now what btc is. I would say, that as a result of this, btc is becoming a global currency..
Yeah I agree that the potential of bitcoin is huge, and crap like that but you have to admit that it is not growing as fast as you make it sound right in the first post of this thread, you have to accept the fact that bitcoin is new compared to other methods of doing transaction and the world might take another five years to actually accept bitcoin, and will demand some changes in the core existence and functionality of bitcoin transactions
It's a great thing that it's becoming more global but it's not far yet. We have to be able to pay with it in alot of places and see more advertisements towards bitcoin.

Yes, to become an international currency, bitcoin must be known by all people around the world. For now, bitcoin is not become a global currency, because there are many people that still don't know about bitcoin and how it works.
also bitcoin must be acceptable everywhere, we must keep introduce bitcoin to near people, we must invite each people to know more about bitcoin.
i agree with this, this is our chance to introduce bitcoin into many people so they can know what is bitcoin and don't make judge that bitcoin is wrong.
i think if there is community in our city and make a schedule to meet and make a plan about how to introduce, and in every meet we can ask people to join with us and this will be a good way for people to know bitcoin.

here i also observing the same things . earlier there was few of countries currency exchange user but now the rush of countries and its peoplea makes the bitcoin as a global currency . which make the future of bitcoin bright and more bright . A long and a continuous process, more people are interested in bitcoin not primarily of the concept and system but because they are attracted with the price of bitcoin now and amazed how the price have grown that much when it is not a physical investment that cannot be appraised of its value.
