According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?

If the bitcoin price actually falls, Of course I will hold on to bitcoin, hold it and wait for the price to move toward to better. I think this is a basic trading strategies. This strategy should be really utilized  and done, at least in order to avoid losses and at least get a profit (even if only slightly).

Right now the bitcoin is falling again, when all people panic to sell, i think its a best time to wait until the panic sell is calm and that time is good for me because in that time i can buy bitcoin when the price is in the down, and wait until the price is going up again and getting some profit from the price different.

Yes this is very true, And that's what I'm doing right now.

I think, dumps have same significance as pumps. The decrease in the value of an asset plays a vital role in the increase of its amount if the holder is willing to buy more at cheaper rate. There are two ways of earning profit. One is by selling out when the prices are really high and the other is to buy more crypto coin when the prices are declining. But many do panic selling out during the downfall.

when bitcoin fall drastically do not panic with this because this is not just happening, most people are very panicked when bitcoin price drops when this is not the time to panic exactly this so our chance to buy bitcoin when its price down, I think this is profit not a loss .

I believe this is an intentional situation for bitcoin because the high price is their problem to attract more investors.

A lot of people think that dumps are just unhealthy things for bitcoin. Do not worry guys, the price will suddenly recover in a few days from now. So the best thing that you can do is just relax, it will be over at some point.

They must be new in the crypto, dump is normal because it's just a price correction and actually that is good to see a healthy market.
It will only affect those who are investing and didn't understand the entire system, if they want easy money then bitcoin is not the answer as you
need to be strong enough to hold and wait for the better price.
I don’t really see why we should panic during a fall… no matter what, we should try to get over this. Even if the price rate of Bitcoin falls, there’s still ways you can recover your losses, like through trading or other similar investments. So there is no reason to panic at all.

Does not seem to fall much now. It is already bottom out and from here in day ot two we will start seeing the rise again and thus it is right time to keep investing some money into it. Buy different coins and hold it. In short span of time you will get a huge profits .

I will just hold my bitcoin because no one can predict what will happen. And I agree it is a great time to invest.

Panic is the biggest mistake of newbies nowdays because they trying to sell everything on first huge dump. At my opinion people who made long term investment should keep mind clear and just wait for a good opportunity.

I can't see why anyone would be selling right now, other than those who are in a state of panic, the price is so low and anyone who understands these things must understand that generally what goes up must go down and vice versa, a recovery will come, it's just a question of when.

don't panic... Panic is for noobs who let their emotions do the talking for them. Always think to the next halving in bitcoins case which is 2020, stop being short-sighted, it doesn't help.

No need to panic just because price correction that occurs in bitcoin, unless you are a speculator. In my opinion, bitcoin is longterm investment. I'm even optimistic bitcoin will actually touch $20k this year.

What a red day! I just installed mobile app for price tracking and it increased my anxiety. At the end of the day, you have to look at the value BTC has. Banks have just started creating financial products for BTC. It's like stocks, and even Apple and Facebook had drops in price. Don't panic but also be strategic.

This question is very relevant in the point in time as bitcoin price is still dropping so fast, a lot of people will start panic selling of there bitcoin but that is not the best thing to do at this point because if you seel out of panic in other to cut loses you will later have to buy the same amount of bitcoin in a more expensive price the best thing to do is to hold the price will rise again.

The trend of the beginning of the year is like this, many people owe it to the banks and pay because they are celebrating the new year and christmas so they have to sell bitcoin, besides the biggest bitcoin users that china will celebrate the new year so it also makes bitcoin drop.

I believe that during the year of 2018, we'll see such fluctations for all type of cyrpto-currencies. Before lighting network update, I'm not expecting a huge pump for bitcoin price due to high transaction fees and slow transactions.

The question suits current situation though it was created early 2017. All altcoins are in red today with two degit percentage. What's really happening. It's because of South Korea's act against traders or exchanges? China has announced to ban traders after South Korea. Russia. Plans to implement mining and trading in a large scale. Something good.
