According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
Holding of course, it is the best cryptocurrency, as the first one and it has the highest exchange rate.
There will be no any cryptocurrency without inspired by bitcoin. It is the most famous digital currency, the King if I may say, and used mostly for trading right now due to scalable problem. Because that problem makes it drop back again and again, untill this resolved then we could reach higher price and usability in global market. But, still hold on.

Panic time? I don't think we need to panic. The price rise and fall, that's normal, isn't it? It doesn't mean that if the price fell today, it won't rise anymore. Panic will just lead to losses imo that's why I don't have plans of selling my BTC nor exchange it to other coins.
Haha, but I very like panic seller and the whale like it too, this is reason they ussually create breakdown price Bitcoin! When have this event, I can buy Bitcoin with cheap price and just wait the price of bitcoin restore again

It's always panic time. People panic buy, because they don't want to miss their moon tickets, and this is pushing the price up and up, than someone starts selling, and people start panic selling, because they are afraid to lose money and think they can buy back at low price. This is the nature of volatility, and if you are a long time investor, you shouldn't worry about it and just buy bitcoins when you think the price is suitable, and hold them for years to get some big 1000% profit at the end. If you don't plan to become a day trader, you can just relax and don't worry too much.

Yep. This would have a great effect to newcomers and might make them back out considering the situation in the extreme price fluctuations nowadays which make them doubt. As for me, I believe in Bitcoin and will continue to hold for it since I am optimistic with its future and with the news that are going around is good though there are a lot of people who are panicking and making some stories that "Bitcoin would die and this time for real" and a like.

Being newcomers in Bitcoin, they are undoubtedly very sensitive about the movements of the price of Bitcoin. And since they are not used to the behavior of Bitcoin, they panic so fast when they see major decline (more than $100) or when they read threads in here that claims that Bitcoin will continue to drop that will lead to its death. With this happening, nothing is to be worried about since this is a part of their transition stage and it is likely a normal thing.

Despite of the current backdrop, I still hold my Bitcoins. Even though they are low in value, I prefer to hold them and will wait for Bitcoin to recover (back to 2700 USD range) and to go beyond the 3000 dollar mark.

It is never time to panic. Much less plan ahead to panic.  Cheesy
Your best financial decisions are not made while fearful. Let the other guy panic and you will have an edge in the market.

You read my mind. This is how we miss the big window of opportunity...

When people talk of bitcoin price falling we need to be talking of buying the bitcoins from the weak hands and not think of panicking

Liar liar pants on fire! price isn't falling, this is just the routine set backs and will as always rise back to the top once again, just give it time mate.

Just 2 days ago I was wishing for price to drop down to $2400 and now less than 2 days it fell to $2100, this is just our expectations changing nothing

More. if whenever the price drops we stand united and together support it back up again and if we keep doing that then price will never crash and

Bitcoin will always have it's value. as always Bitcoin moving up and it's green and all the altcoins are green and moving up, without Bitcoin the

Entire cryptocurrencies and their investors are like orphans.

As you can see bitcoin have dump in pump in the graph so that is normal and I think hold is the best way to not regret because bitcoin is good for long term investment and another thing is bitcoin is just starting so don't panic sell.

NO based on some blogs that i read this is the perfect opportunity to buy bitcoin
You shouldn't base your actions on what you read on the internet. It just requires common sense and a very basic form of market understanding to use these repetitive ups and down in your advantage. If you read something on the internet, then it's the view of the writer of the blog or artcile, but that doesn't mean it holds any value. Always do your own research.

because this is the sign of bitcoin rising up again to double it's own value and not to decreased again
Clear sign of someone that doesn't know what he is talking about - quit getting information from the blogs your read.

so better to buy now this is the perfect opportunity to buy bitcoins and gain some profits in the future,,
This is the only part that somewhat makes sense of your post.

Nope. You don't have to be panic. It's just a normal case and that's life of the economy as well. It's just a similar situation and people should not worry about it. Soon, it will rise again There are many chances that might happen for its progress eventhough it fluctuates at times but that doesn't mean that it will be for a long time. There are better ways to move forward ahead in bitcoin's journey and success in the future so don't be panic.

I don't think that a price fall is a reason to panic. Pumps and dumps are very very common in cryptocurrencies. A fall in price is a very good opportunity to pile up as many Bitcoins as you can and sell them when price is high again.

Don't panic this is worst thing you could do. Everyone got a little fear when it happens for Bitcoin price to fall but you should look at this from positive side, that it's convenient time to buy more coins, not to sell them. So, keep cool head, avoid the panic influences and invest in Bitcoins before the price rise again.

As to me, it's high time to jump the ship while it is not too late

And this is what I see happening even despite the price rising somewhat after it went down dramatically yesterday. Bitcoin may feel much better after August 1st, but we don't and can't know of that, and this will only contribute to uncertainty and panicky sentiment across markets as we draw closer to the date mentioned. So if you want to play safe, it is better to switch to fiat for the time being. Personally, I'm slowly moving my monetary wealth to Litecoin. That seems to be a safer option than waiting out with bitcoins

It's just correction to 1800, where then the price will go, I'd want to know.

[i m g]https://image.prntscr.com/image/9A-7XrCDTfOo_Mbz9TK7pw.jpg[/img]

dropping below $2000? i don't think so. if it happens it is not longer correction it is a big ass dump with no return, at least for a very long time.

and evidently it is not going to happen either. the $2200 was barely broken and it could not last for long. now we are back up to $2511 at this moment. and although we don't know how long it can last but unless some other terrible news comes out i don't see any more big drops.
