I think it is normal that Africa is looking for alternatives of money. The fees in the banking system are huge there and cryptos is the one escape how to not loose money.

Precisely.

And we at InstaShift.io have launched our Peer to Peer Exchange for Nigeria last week.

Our system has a Unified Order Book & we do a Round-Robin matching.

Presently our trade volumes are on a Higher Note in India & Canada as well.

Africa is very much supportive of the Crypto-Community & we are delighted to start some good work for the region as well.

Yes indeed bitcoin is  gaining some amount of attention in the lands of Africans. Currently there are news that Kenya and Zimbabwe have installed Bitcoin ATM machines in their countries. I have also not heard that any African country has announced its opposition to digital currencies.

According to reports and aggregate data from Google, Bitcoin is on the rise in Africa. Bitcoin is attracting investors in Africa, for example, in a typical group of investors such as Millennial in Africa, Catherine Byaruhanga of Uganda. For example, a young resident from Kampala, Peace Akware, hopes the bitcoin she has invested will increase enough for her to buy a car, maybe even buy the land someday. Another person from Kampala, Martin Serugga, is teaching electronic money in his weekly class with more than 50 attendees. Serugga teaches the class how to trade electronic money against Fiat used in the country.
Other reports also mention that since the economic and political crisis in South Africa began, locals began to search for Bitcoin. On this trading day, Etoro made a comeback in March when regional finance minister Pravin Gordhan lost his position. "In South Africa, the number of new users trading Bitcoins through Etoro increased 671 percent from January to the end of November last year over the same period in 2016, higher than the growth rate, '' said Mati Greenspan, an analyst. overall manager 574% ".

at first, we have to know that what are the difference between Bitcoin and BitKoin.Africa, so far I know that Bitcoin is almost spreading out as a global currency but if BitKoin.Africa is being invented only for the African Countries then it wouldn't be popular outside of the African continent.

BitKoin.Africa is an exchange!!!!! Not a coin!!!!!
Spend at least 5 seconds to read the OP before posting, can you do that?

How the heck does crypto help deal with poverty and unemployment? You can’t even use crypto without electricity

Nobody knows, but it's easier to dream then facing reality.
Bitcoin is the new Holly Grail that will.....do something Tongue
Too bad it will end like the Monty Python show

many countries will follow what Africa did with bitcoin and I am sure that bitcoin will spread in many places and cannot be stopped as long as the internet still exists. this is a good momentum that Africa did and I think the other country will learn about bitcoin and they don't want to be late to studied bitcoin. maybe it will help Africa to solve the poverty problem in their country so their country will try to grow and better than before.

Hilarious!!!!!!!!
The US, Japan, the whole EU, will follow what Africa (which is no a country btw) does.
And then....the end of the world will be near.

You can check some forums here in bitcoin talk and you would see that there are a lot of ICO's that is focusing in africa. Africa has a great business opportunity through ICO's and crypto currency. So I am not that surprised with the momentum they are having for africa.

But of course there are thousands of ICOs from Africa, after all, there are hundreds of Nigerian Kings, Queens, Dukes waiting to make us billionaires.

God, I love the delusion in this thread Grin

Africa is covered by demand for crypto-currencies !!!

Now Bitkoin.Africa allows customers from all African countries to buy bitcoins, quickly and without problems.
Nigeria became the first country to exchange P2P digital assets, seeking to facilitate access to bitcoin throughout the African region.
Bitkoin.Africa was launched by a team of Nigerian developers on October 1
Have a nice day, everyone! Wink

This will definitely affect the development of this region. There are countries with huge hyperinflation. Cryptocurrencies can help reduce unemployment and poverty.

Bitcoin is gradually being accepted around the world, and I think this is good news for both bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market.
Debatable BTC gaining share in a market that’s struggling. Only the urban folks with power and electricity will bother with crypto

Bitcoin is really showing that it's already the mainstream currency of the cryptoworld. It now started to reach in the third world countries like Africa and it is really a good news for them and hope their government will embrace the technology for good.

The problem in making Bitcoins popular in Africa is that there the users are more likely to indulge in small and medium sized transactions. And due to the high transaction fee associated with Bitcoins, BTC is not very suitable for performing such transfers.

good news for all of us as bitcoin users I'm sure bitcoin demand will spread to all corners of the world ..

Bitcoin is gaining prominence in sub-Saharan and East Africa, where there is a shortage of banking services and sometimes these areas need crypto-currency to compensate for the lack of local currency. this is a good news.

Africa is one of the biggest countries in the whole world. Actually the moment happening in Africa is pretty good.
The bitcoin slowly dominating in Africa and builds its momentum to promote the cryptocurrency and their services to the people in Africa which leads them to increase the community of using bitcoin.
You are not very smart are you? “Africa is one of the biggest countries in the whole world”.

No it’s not. It’s a fucking continent.

This is very good news for all of us and this shows that bitcoin is really hard to stop right now and that's why so many countries are talking about it recently. But I just want to question whether Africa is really ready for this tsunami? Have they set up their infrastructure? Internet and Electricity are there? Because if the majority of Africans have so many problems they face then how will they adopt bitcoin? They should be prioritized such as food, shelter and water before bitcoin is really beneficial to all of us

You can say that again and again. Africa is not going to be left behind in this global financial services revolution. I meet and interact with people on a daily basis who are in Africa and are actively involved in the cryptoworld. It's amazing the enthusiasm and growing interest from Africa in bitcoin and blockchain technology. I just hope the various government in Africa help their citizens by providing them with the needed infrastructure such as constant power and data access to help sustain this growing interest

This is an exciting concept as I have family in Tanzania and always root for the African people..Not only will Bitcoin take off in these countries [Nigeria, etc.] - but I already know of grassroots movements for coins like PIVX ! These grassroots movements really push the conversation on the ground floor and lead to faster business adoption.
