AKA The Rubber Monkey
I'm sorry, but litecoin has seen its better days. Some people call litecoin "silver" to Bitcoins "gold", but I disagree. I think Bitcoin is like "Apple" and litecoin is like "Dell". Dell was once an industry leader, but they didn't really do anything that couldn't be easily copied. Now they lost their dominance and will soon be struggling to survive. In the same way, litecoin didn't have anything that's not easily copied, so they lost their edge and will eventually be struggling to survive.

If Bitcoin ever gones down, it definately won't be litecoin who takes over.

someone told me that us dollar gonna collapse and that silver is gonna pass gold

I would believe that dollar would collapse but i don't think that silver would surpass gold that easily.. gold has so many uses and the price is being manipulated by the banks

My opinion on litecoin is pretty bullish in the short term (next couple of months) and have my fair share of it but I'm gonna write off bitcoin anytime soon like the OP.

mind to explain why you are bullish on litecoin? altcoin investments and gambling is the same. writing off bitcoin makes you look like a die hard bear.
Perhaps I misspoke a little. Firstly, I'm of the opinion that some interesting price actions are on the horizon w/ bitcoin sometime towards the end of summer/start of fall and I think litecoin is about to do something big to correspond to that. I'm merely holding a portion of my stash in litecoin to convert them back to bitcoin once the move does its thing. We'll see if I'm wrong but clearly something has been going on w/ litecoin atm.

The thing is: people will not be bullied into Gavincoin by abusive behaviour like Gavin shows (http://sourceforge.net/p/bitcoin/mailman/message/34155307/)

People aren't forced to buy Gavincoin or even Bitcoin, they can choose what coin they like.

All that still supports Gavincoin is the hashrate and your shilling.
Both can be gone in a day when people decide en masse to buy the other coin instead of Bitcoin (sell their Bitcoin for the other coin).
Hashrate of the other popular coin will then rise naturally and when that ideally does not support Sha miners you sick fucks can't even attack it.

So really Bitcoin/Gavincoin greatly relies on demand and i think after Gavins' statement demand just took a big hit and is about to migrate to a variety of alts which eventually in a few years time come out on top if Gavin is for any prolonged time still allowed to continue his misconducts.

Why would people support a coin that has a dev that behaves like a dictator and causes trouble all the time? Answer: they won't do that.

You've got a PR problem there with your Bitcoin and its developer now which automatically transaltes to a problem with waning  demand if it keeps persisting.

Just telling you the truth. Your hashrate won't protect you. Hashrate is tied to price (and thus to demand) and is in itself wildly volatile.

Demand collapses, price collapses, hashrate collapses ... you're done. Thanks to Gavin.

Exactly other way around. Alts going mainstream and btc not so much. Just accept it, that's the reality.
People demand alts if you like it or not.
Your shilling doesn't create reality. Peoples' demand creates the reality in crypto. Doge has better chances of going mainstream than btc has just because people prefer that brand.

This is my favourite thread on the forum. Cheesy

hahahaha....no wait you're serious?
Bitcoin is the only coin/cryptocurrency that is going to achieve mainstream adoption, all the other altcoins (shitcoins) are worth nothing, poor investments that are very likely to fail.
Stop desperately hoping that you can be an early adopter in a massively rising successful altcoin, it isn't going to happen.
Bitcoin is the only coin that will live on into old age Wink

LTC with faster txs and more tps aswell as no drama right now, better distribution of wealth and good network is pretty undervalued but that'll change soon enough.

Bitcoin is dumping as we  speak and LTC is up 10%+ last 48 hours ... shill all you want, the market doesn't give a shit for the bitcoin shills.
I'm prediciting 0.05 btc for 1 ltc within this year. Maybe much more. (up to 0.2 btc for 1 LTC realistic)
Once it's above 0.1 btc price it'll be too late for the denyers and all that's left for you is jumping from a bridge or just holding on the Gabbycoin which nobody wants anymore after Gabby has shown to be a gay CIA agent.

Where is my ring of blades...
why litecoin?
first of all this post looks like trilling around, and bitcoin is not in deep trouble. even if it was it wouldn't be replaced by litecoin.

LTC? If only you picked Dash then i might sorta agree with you but with the current state of LTC, I only see is long term slow down trend.

it doesn't matter which altcoin you choose. none will come close to what bitcoin now is. at least not within a reasonable amount of years.

Well, except Ripple maybe?
If Ripple can do it any shitcoin can. You Bitcoin supremacists need to reevaluate that's for sure. Bitcoin hasn't a monopoly on anything except maybe on retards.

But you'll never learn. People told you when it was still 400$.

And yet here you are.

i have seen a lot of other suggestions like this before, all about litecoin is going to go to the moon. but it never revives from its dying course.

sometimes a little pump comes along and lifts the price a tiny bit, but afterwards litecoin collapses back, and continues dying again.

people aren't interested enough in litecoin and it doesn't really offer anything better to attract them either.
besides i think if bitcoin crashes litecoin will crash too.

Last night I looked at some very old price chart screenshots. Litecoin crashed to $3.50, then went back up to $4.50. Today it's bounced from slightly over a dollar back up to $1.78. I think in the future it will go down below a dollar and then maybe bounce back up to a dollar before continuing downwards. It's already fallen far further than Bitcoin and I think it will continue downwards far faster than Bitcoin, not take its place.

maybe you mean monero, that at least offer something useful instead of being just a pure clone

litecoin was dead long time ago, the incoming halving will not do much for a zombie coin

dash was just another perfect scam...

DASH? LOL... that's pretty meh as well. Altcoins are on a whole other plane of irrelevance. And if the bitcoin bear market continues.... good luck alts.
