There's always at least one article a week making crazy claims about bitcoin dying, just have to ignore them is all!
Crisis averted. What's next? It's really funny seeing a lot of thread about the demise of bitcoin but little did we know that they have a hidden agenda behind it, like they want to buy at low price that's why they are creating panic amongst members. But bitcoin again proved that it will not die but going strong as the price move closer to $2800. So I seriously doubt that it will died like that. And after Aug 1 bitcoin with renewed strength will go for another ATH.
There will be a lot of FUD during the next 6-7 days, i.e until August 1. There are two types of people who spread this FUD. The first one consists of bears who want the prices to go down, so that they can short cover their positions. The second type consist of the users of various altcoins such as Ethereum and Litecoin, who want these alts to replace Bitcoin.

It is not that bitcoin is this or that. OP misses the point completly. The issue of bitcoin success is the crappyness of the current financial model, that even the slightest honesty in finance is making a huge success.

What crisis? Little panic before segwit made people to sell, or that is even high level manipulation. What ever it is, crisis is to strong word for it. How can you compare this drop with hacking MtGox?
Bitcoin is far from dead, and this articles, topics are just lousy try to create panic and make people sell their stash of bitcoin. Well that is not going to happen, bitcoin is stronger then ever before, and this 1,000$ in just one day is proof that bitcoin can go to 4,000$ before the end of the year, that is not dead, that is alive and growing, like on steroids.

I am so sure that if bitcoin will never die. Well, bitcoin will continue to be developed even more when this blockchine size will be increased. Of course it will make bitcoin transactions faster, and will probably make bitcoin more popular.
This we thought when the bigger bumps on the bitcoin chart and many adoption happen but it says non blockchain based smart contracts. Even BIP148 increasing of blocks size only but not anywhere states that blockchain based block segregation.

This are people who have missed the opportunity of buying at lowe price and since price has gone high they fell it that way. Its fine every one has a opinion so does not not worry .
