gizmodo is a clickbait dump for illiterate idiots, why even bother posting articles from there? If you want a researched opinion aimed at people who can think, read this for example and stop promoting excrements )

To be honest, such articles doesn't matter to me because my experience with bitcoin is far better and I would always go with my own experience rather than trusting some piece of article. Now coming back to the topic claimed in this article, I don't think anything like death of bitcoin is going to happen in at least next 5 years (yes we might see some fluctuations in the price) but I don't think it will diminish to 0.

Why tell such thing? Do you have any idea how bitcoin helped other people?

I know right, this kind of people who are making such article about bitcoin doesn't make any sense at all. They are just keep on making people believe whatever they wrote on their articles, most of them are just making money out of it, they are doing anything to catch the attention of public so that their site would earn money by getting feedback to people, either negative or positive, they don't care as long as they are earning money out of their nonsense idea.

you do realize that you are knowingly or unknowingly advertising this crappy article and are generating traffic for it?
and what are all these html tags that you have added after the link? is it your own site? and what is the point of sharing a useless unknown article here to mis-direct people's attention to?

Most journalists are corrupt and can be bought. That is why politicians love using them because all they care about is the love they have for money. Do all of you think there is still the responsible journalism that was practiced long ago? It is gone. It is all about who can pay for their services the highest.

Bitcoin Refuses to Just Die Already
Such an ugly title. Content is worthless. Nothing but a deliberate attempt by author to grab attention by intentionally using a sensational title.
It's all just, "according to blah blah blah", "blah blah reported", and then some unnamed "financial experts blah blah blah".

Just another trashy 'news site'.  Shocked

I have already read the OPs post about that article and it is really annoying like those people who keeps on posting the same stuff that bitcoin should die because of "this" and "that" reason, did bitcoin do harm you guys? or do you have any problems about bitcoin? if yes, then why not to stop going on this forum and stop posting nonsense stuff like that. We have already read the same articles like that for a million times, and we're done on it.

Instead of encouraging people that bitcoin should die, why not continue on supporting it, you will gain nothing on giving negative thought about bitcoin, because no one will believes you, bitcoin lovers will just get mad at you with this kind of opinion, so let's just stop this nonsense guys. If we have seen something like this again, let's just ignore it because whoever made that article is just a person which wants a lot of attention.

LOL, "essentially worthless".  Er, no it's worth about $1100 per bitcoin, actually.  That reminds me of all the goldbugs who say fiat is worthless--and no doubt it's fiat they use to buy their groceries and pay their rent.  Fiat isn't worthless either.  Yeah, this is a pretty garbage article but some of the points are good, like exchanges going under.  That doesn't really mean anything for bitcoin itself, though.  There are dozens or hundreds of banks that failed in 2008-09 and it takes nothing away from fiat.

It sounds like a 19-year old wrote this article, doesn't it?
